Ok but the orchestration and instrumental of “Believe” in this version is so much more interesting than the version they used for Broadway. The final chorus is actually different from the rest of the song so you don’t get as bored compared to the broadway version where it’s the exact same thing over

this is so charming! it has put a big smile on my face!! a must-see indeed!

Over all, I prefer this version of the show to what made it to broadway. It’s especially sad they changed the opening.

i love the section from 5:29-6:21 i'm sad they took it out of the show

Harvey Weinstein, that pervert, didn't like Jeremy in the role, he felt Jeremy wasn't right for the part because he was too young. Plus he wasn't as well known as Matthew Morrison at the time and that is who Weinstein wanted because he felt Morrison would fill more seats the Jeremy.

I love this version of the show, was it the original ART production. I just saw the touring company and it was not nearly as good. I love all the principles, especially Jeremy Jordan and the Sylvia LD (who was the actress?) and the choreography of this version.

This was previews, it's typical for a show to have changes before moving to Broadway.

Can anybody tell me where did this performance take place? I haven't seen the Broadway version yet, but I've strated to listen to it, and the songs are not the same, are they?

This was the preview run in Boston. When they transferred to Broadway they gave the role to Matthew Morrison and changed a lot of the show.

Was Jeremy Jordan going to be in the OBC as James?

I'm so confused right now. I just watched this whole show with Matthew Morrison and this number was nowhere

@@chevydude658 Agreed! I'd recommend to you "Newsies", "Bonnie and Clyde", and "The Last Five Years (movie)" for more Jeremy Jordan, also just searching him on KZread should give you tons of great videos from his solo concerts and more :)

I am so glad they got rid of fake dog. It is a much better production now.

Ugh it's a significantly worse show now. One of the oldest rules in the theatre is not to have a live animal onstage. When I saw the show the dog was licking his balls by the bench for 4 minutes. Can you guess what people watched?

Wasn't there two other creatures to that rule? One of them was babies/very young children and there was something else but can't seem to remember it. But the dog looked very well trained from the little snippets I've seen of the newer production so I don't think it would do anything too distracting.

This was the first broadway cast though. It looks like this was sort of a preview show before they changed a bunch of it

I don’t know what kind of reply I’ll get but I wish they would use real dog. It is so weird to see a grown man in a dog costume dancing and running around on all fours. That’s my opinion, though.

Eristine Forever the production that I saw in February of the this year (2020) used a real dog so maybe they moved to that after they got on Broadway I’m not entirely sure though.

Jeremy Jordan was actually 10x better in the role of JM Barrie than Matthew Morrison.

IK I WAS SO SAD WHEN HE DIDN'T COME TO BROADWAY. at the ART finding neverland was my favorite show i'd ever seen on broadway it was kind of meh and they brought down a lot of the songs

Jeremy is better vocally but Matthew seems better at acting the role physically. Thats what i think.

Nah, Jeremy puts the emotion in so much better. Just look at his version of stronger vs Matthews and how different Jeremy acts (if you need the full jeremy boot just email me)

You are not. I prefer Matthew Morrison. Jeremy seems too young in my opinion and his "Stronger" is much too defiant.
