Find out why some black women are angry

Instead of categorizing the black woman, find out why some black women act the way they do. Its a reason behind the bitterness and anger.

I think it has a lot to do with their environment and how they were raised. You can have two black girls, one grew up in the suburbs and the other grew up in the hood. You will see the difference in their personalities. Most black women act the way they do because of their upbringing and surroundings. It's all they know.

@@missctolbertvoh Tell me about it. I said the same exact same thing to a former acquaintance who claimed I was being "sexist and prejudiced". His main problem was that his head was lodged so far up his ass he could smell his own shit. In other words, he blatantly refused to listen to logic and respect my opinions. That and he enjoyed slandering me also.

To all the brothers out here, THERE ARE GREAT BLACK WOMEN out here. You just have to raise your expectations and standards. Stop chasing big butts. Check for morals and upbringing. I have a black wife and I wouldn't trade her for any other woman out here. And it took me 28 years to find her. But I never gave up and believed and prayed for her. 20 years and still in love. For over a year this has been my argument with these disrespectful and angry men who constantly tear down and categorize black women. I got so tired of it! All black women aren't the same. It's unfair that men will try to categorize us. I'm happy you're so mature and see the difference in us. You're a rare one and I appreciate you! Thanks so much for your input.

Great words of wisdom. It’s amazing what happens when you build someone up and don’t destroy their self esteem. Many women have experienced that most of their lives and it’s sad. Women need to hear these encouraging and uplifting words that you deliver. Hollywood and the media only help to spread the stereotype of the black woman. Keep doing what you’re doing!! God Bless!!

sister I respect your position and felt your speech was eloquent and well spoken. The issue is that we as a people have a real problem with violence, drugs, high incarnation, teen pregnancy and a host of other issues that we could write a book on. The problem with most black people is that we must acknowledge that we have a problem. This is something we never do. We have a problem! Most sisters I come across never will admit that there behavior is problematic. And as you said yourself most of you don't want to listen to the truth! how can you fix something if you don't know the problem. That's like going to the doctor, she looks at you and says you have this. No examination and no diagnosis. Take two of these and call me in the morning.

Good points, I'm well aware that black women have had traumatic childhood and upbringing and in the way it's not their fault. Here's the truth even if every black man fully understood what black women went through in America it will take several generations to break this negative stigma surrounding black woman. Bad parenting in traumatic childhood experiences is a preview of adult sometimes

First off, I have to admit that I only originally watched this to have a reference to the response video that you posted to this video. But after watching this I can honestly say that this doesn't just apply to women. There are also men that have had similar experiences which affect their perception of women and cause them to act towards women in the same way you describe the way some women act towards men. I myself am guilty of it (for personal reasons which I won't go into) but I accept it and acknowledge it and in doing so, it helps to remind me to work on those issues. I guess what I'm saying is both sexes are guilty of this. My two cents worth.

Queen B, i believe that if ppl who bash black women tried to take time understanding why they are angry, the negative opinions they have would be different. We must have compassion. These women who operate in anger didn't wake up and choose to be angry and defiant. I have spoken to so many women. All shapes, sizes, colors, religions and backgrounds. The fact is their anger stems from so many deep, violating, condescending and hurtful situations. Not to make an excuse, but those things have made them react and behave in the manner they do.

Coley Gray , I know this may seem a little "far out there", but have you considered what parts of yourself are reflected in the women you attract or are attracted to? The parts you don't care for? Where have you been sneaky towards yourself or others? It's hard sometimes to see these things in ourselves, but the path to healing usually starts there. I can only speak from experience, and I send you love and light as you discover your own path.

As a black man, I could understand why many of you have a chip on your shoulder, but none of you should take it out on the men who genuinely care about you. Andre Jones, you are free to speak your mind as long as it's done with respect. I leave my comment section open so everyone can speak their minds respectively. However it's just unfair how all black women are lumped and put in the same category. You just said many of us have a chip on our shoulder. That's unfair. I definitely don't have a chip on my shoulder. I actually made this video and was very positive. I even gave advice to the black women that may have been a victim, or they are still a victim to the things I named. The point was for them to change their behavior and be better. Most of the ppl that commented were negative. Come to find out many of those same ppl didn't even watch the video in its entirety. Lol so many men were so busy trying to attack the video and black women that they couldn't even see what my actually point was in even making it. SMH. I did say "many"; I didn't mean to imply "all". A lot of black women that I've come into contact with disrespect me on a daily basis; whether it be at work, church, or even just when I'm out and about. Like I said before, I do understand that many black women have been attacked on all sides in many different ways, but like you said, it shouldn't make you bitter/angry, but I can understand why. Not all of us black men are any good either, but unfortunately for the decent black man, society has chosen the "nigga" (the black man who embodies all of the negative lifestyle traits) to be what is considered the "strong black man" based on looks(not just physical; niggas also come highly educated, with material things, but just as indignant as the thugs). Those guys psychologically or physically scar you; leaving us to deal with whatever negative feelings and extra baggage you may have. It doesn't help that many black women have the government aiding in the destruction of the black families too.

Andre Jones I totally believe you when you say on a daily basis you encounter a black woman disrespecting you. I see that all the time! I actually see it more with the women in church. I have come to find out that so many of those types of women are extremely angry, bitter and ready to release their frustrations on whomever they can. You made a great point when you said how black women are putting the "nigga" title on all black men. I could never place every black man in the same category believing, and thinking all of you are the same. That's so far from the truth. The truth is just like you put it....some black women and men are no good. The good ones have been stigmatized by the world and their own ppl because it's a small amount of us that have great attitudes, good hearts, deeds, and managed to rise above adversity. Such a crying shame we have to fight and prove we're not all uneducated, lazy, trifling, loud, locked up, negligent in raising our children etc...etc. I wholeheartedly agree with everything you said. I'm so sorry you have to come in contact with black women who are ticking time bombs. Don't get discouraged brother. I ask you to just continue to show love, respect and patience. They are fighting a battle that's bigger then you. God has to deliver them.

But the stigma is associated with black women being loud, rude and etc. We are view in such a negative light because of slavery and this racist american system that we are still under today. If a black women is a no nonse black women she is viewed rude, mean, and can't get along with anyone. Guerlene Fleurantus thank you so much. BAAABY YOU'RE THE REAL MVP!!! From your comment you obviously watched the video in it's entirety! Most of the comments on this video are negative and harsh. Most ppl who viewed it were men and they came with the wrong attitude ready to attack the black woman. Nobody took the time out to focus on the key point of the video....I showed the reasons why some black women are angry, not to make an excuse, but to expose the root of the anger and bad behavior for some. After I explained that, I gave the women a few ideas on things they can do to improve their behavior, and surroundings for the better. My goal was to only get the women to understand that even though they had hardships and trials in their life, which broke them, it shouldn't keep them bitter, angry and non complacent. Wow!!! I am so thankful that you truly get it. Much love too you!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

+missctolbertvoh Everything you said is very true. But at some point everyone has to stand up, face whatever issues they may have, and get professional help like adults. Instead many of our women take their "daddy" issues or other pass issues with them in their everyday lives. The sad thing is their anger, bitterness and bad attitude shows everywhere they go, even in the Caribbean. Don't believe me? Next time you travel check the attitudes of other women and then compare. Other women in the world of all races do not act the same as the sisters here in the U.S. Please understand I am not trying to put my foot on the sisters' throats. But most men are just not qualified to be therapists and every woman knows this. So women need to own up to whatever issues they have and fix themselves psychologically before letting anyone in their space.

I know some women don't conduct themselves in a respectful manner. The ones that do shouldn't be categorized. Before ending the video I gave the sisters some advice and told them what they can do to start being better women. Now it's up to them to be interested enough to make changes for the better. Sometimes when I see one of us acting out, I want to hold them and tell them to hold on, don't let them and you tear you apart. Typically the issues I named is the reason why some black women are angry. Self admission is necessary for help and growth. Since black women are continuously slandered, torn down, categorized and stigmatized I made this video to educate the ppl, mainly men as to why they see SOME angry black women. I don't think men have to deal with angry black women, I just suggested they have patience, show love and try to understand why they come across some black women that's angry. I explained this video further in a response video.

missctolbertvoh thank you for the insightful reply sister. you are very right on black women being hurt, torn down and slandered and needs love, patience and understanding. the sad part is, these only applies to grown matured black women who have come to the point of self realization. most black women dont understand how it feels to be loved and cared for because they have been hurt and abused. they treat guys who actually try to love them them like crap. this is why we have sooo many black men turning away from sisters because they have been hurt by the same black woman they showed love to. its a sad situation. i have personally been through with a sister who treated me that way but i know there is hope seeing sisters like you.

I think the reason we get this stigma is because in other cultures women and men with ghetto mentalities are separated from the rest of that culture. We are the only ones that still try to deal with those types, go to any club in the hood you will see a few people who made it out of the hood but they still hang out in the hood, white people who make it out of the trailer park are never seen there again so there is a clear distinction between upper class whites and lower class whites so they arent lumped together the way we are. I dont get the angry sista treatment because I dont act like an angry sista.

Stigmas are constantly attached to certain colors or classes of ppl for many different reasons. While so many are criticizing and critiquing the black woman, nobody takes the time to understand why so many are angry. These Queens didnt wake up and decide to be angry. There was a progression of the anger stemming from deeper, serious issues. Life can beat you down and change how you react or conduct yourself completely. I lift the black women up. Angry or not. Period.

At first I thought this was pure ignorance until maybe 5 or 6 minutes in(most of what you say is true). Here is my opinion MOST back women are NOT loud, angry and trifling. The problem is this group that does fit this stereotype is making the most noise.(media framing? yes but that's another topic) The question is what would you have people do? Compassion? Ok, many us do understand but should a man be with an angry chick because he understands? Should a person accept ignorance or anger cause they understand? I read a comment in which you said "These women who operate in anger didn't wake up and choose to be angry and defiant." Well here is where we disagree, you control you. Until you accept that you are the responsible for your actions , you can not change. Maturation, change and progress come from with in! I was once a young angry, violent, ignorant ass dude. I was trapped in a cycle, I blamed lack of a father, the hood I grew up in, my financial status. Yet I was able to change that because I recognized that I was broken! An NOBODY else could fix ME. Broken by design? Yes but that's another topic. Instead of encouraging people to be silent which is good advice but it will only make the anger build to an explosion. Encourage self inflexion. You have to get rid of the anger on the inside before you can calm the externalization of anger.Be careful what you throw out. My honest first impression was "sheesh you are perpetuating the stereotypes". In essence helping to further the stereotype.Don't ask others to accept foolishness. FREE YOURSELF FROM THE CHAINS OF FOOLISHNESS!

+Black Thought, first let me say I appreciate you viewing the entire video. I believe that most of the men who pressed play only viewed the first few minutes and begin to attack and come for me accusing me of making excuses for black women. What seemed to go over many ppl's head is the title. I said find out WHY black women are angry. I don't have to defend what I know is truth! Each one of us has a certain way we act, think, behave, and deal with ppl and things on a day to day basis. However, there are ppl who have compassion for us. No matter how we feel, or what we think, something about us and how we react, behave, or think needs understanding. This video was to encourage and be positive. Nothing more. Nothing less. When I spoke of silence, I meant that for the women who are always talking and angrily lashing out, or responding in situations harshly but they don't listen. This is a common problem with angry women. I told the ladies to get control of their emotions and hear the other person out before speaking. That part of my video seemed to go over the men's head. When a man loves a woman no he shouldn't stay with her and she is angry, disrespectful or boisterous but he should at least try to get to the root of why she behaves the way she does. Thats what ppl in relationships and marriages do. They work together by problem solving and exercising patience with the woman they deal with. Its always OPTIONAL. How have ppl gotten to a place where we don't care about trying yo be positive, compassionate, or understanding for someone who is lost? You stated that you once were an angry guy. You also stated that change starts within us. That is true, but one must first come into the knowledge of how to change inside before it takes place. Once these angry women are shown love or told in love that they need to change how they walk, talk, behave or speak then you see a transformation. The ones who behave like this ARE ABSOLUTELY not making the most noise. If they are it's because black women continue to get tore down! I have yet to see a man come up here and be positive. All I see is men cursing, making excuses as to why they can't be positive and uplifting to the women ,which leads me to believe there are very angry, negative men. Several men who commented completely twisted my video around, started debates, and responded very angrily and negatively. I doubt if most of the viewers even watched the full 9 minutes and 15 seconds of this in full. I can see the percentage on my KZread chart and how long a viewer watches each video. The rest of what I said was not even considered or heard because the men kept PERPETRATING negativity and only addressing what they felt was excuses. I actually admitted that some of what is said about black women is true. When we are positive it changes things. period. Point blank. I have compassion, understanding and patience. I love ppl. I will continue to be positive and uplifting whether I have others backing me up or not. Thanks for viewing my video sir. I appreciate you!

+missctolbertvoh Here is the thing, in reading your response your stance is easily understood. For the most part I agree with you. I do believe as black people need more compassion for each other. Even more specifically I think as black men we need to do better by our women. We need to love, protect and uplift our women. We need to put our women on a pedestal(Because we put non black women on a pedestal) . Also, I have to correct myself on the silence thing you are absolutely correct. Understand this where as men interpret things one way, women see them completely different. So while women may easily understand where you going with the video most of us dude didn't, at least I didn't. Not until I was over half way into the video. We see something completely different. Like many of the dudes who commented, my first thought was "next video, another chick making excuses for bad behavior". For some reason I just stayed and watched to make sure I was understanding where you were going with it. Sweetheart you have to understand this. Most of us men know why women are mad. Its the cycle. The whole anger thing is a trap. A woman comes into this world soft, loving, and nurturing. Only problem is we live in a fallen world were people prey on that nature. Many women in our communities never had that father that showed her how she should be loved by loving her and mother the way a man should. They never were the princess in their fathers eyes. Never had the protection of a man. So they go out seeking that love. In doin so they get burned by the game. What happens when you get burned? You start to protect yourself from things that burn you. You get bitter, angry, and jaded, you start to build up walls to protect your self from being hurt again but all it really does is stop you from ever being loved again. Now you meet men who may be attracted to you but cant deal with or wont deal with the angry disposition. So now you block your chances at love. I stand by what I said . Change comes from within. Where does the knowledge comes from? Its all around us. We just have to want change. I didn't change until I got tired of anger destroying my education, my jobs, my relationships. Hell anger was destroying my life. So I started trying to walk away from altercations. I stopped expecting the worst out of people. I started to examine what I did wrong in my relationships. I started to forgive. Eventually I started overcoming my issues. I am far from perfect but I am progressing and all of my change came from within. What will these women do if that compassion never comes? I would hate to see anyone more of our women like the countless older women on youtube talking about how wrong they had it when they were young. Sorry, I don't want to spam your comment section just hoping you see where I am coming from. You make good videos, keep it up!

Black Thought I absolutely love your response. Again I truly appreciate you understanding my side and where I was coming from. I'm so sure you know that there is a reason why we all act the way we act. Some behaviour is just not out of control or offensive as others. When I told that fact I was told I was making excuses for black women. I won't ever make an excuse for nonsense, but I know when it's present it's a reason. I know you stand by what you said, and I would never ask or want you to change it. I just wanted the audience to understand why so many women are angry. I didn't even want to make it a color thing but since black women are torn down so much and categorized I did the video about them. Its so refreshing to see that finally a man has come up here and responded with actual knowledge of the black woman. I think these angry, hostile women want to be better but they don't know how or where to start. The Hood and a negative environment plays a big role in how one behaves. Everyone hasn't gotten to the awakening place where they know to change and shift their inside to be better. If the compassion never comes I imagine with age and being around ppl who are different for the better can inspire them to transform or at least desire it for the better. Thanks for the compliment also honey!! My passion is counseling and speaking to ppl. I do these videos for the ppl to see things from a different perspective.

But it's not just the black woman who are like this, it's really sad. Some people are loud, some people are quite, some people are ghetto, some people are uneducated, some people have split homes, and the list goes on. I will never be that one person to label individuals for others behaviors. I have my options, and feelings but they stay to me where they're safe. Do what you do and you'll be who you are not what others make you out to be. So you're are who you're You show people what you want to show them, you tell people what YOU want them to know. missctolbertvoh Your very much welcome. You just have to know how to deal with people and the best way in a negative situation is to NOT DEAL WITH THEM AT ALL.. I'm so grateful for how I was raised I did not have everything growing up but one thing I had was love, guidance with mother and father. Now I'm not perfect but it's all about how we grow and learn. I have grown to love and if not to keep it moving. I also try and live life like tomorrow could be my last. So I personally don't have time to nip pick. I always stand by this. Don't live life in the fast lane because one day that lane will end. Take it easy drive slow. Teach others who want to learn let's grow together. If I can tell people one thing it will be this. You don't have to love everyone, you don't have to like everyone, but you sure as heck don't have to spend your time hating, you don't have to spend your time bullying. If you don't want to help others understand keep it moving. If you don't like people don't waste your time hating someone even more. Just keep it moving. Always try first if at first you don't succeed try again, and if it fails at least you know you tried without hate in your heart.

KAM MAK I love you! Your comment on my channel made my day sweetie. This is so refreshing and wonderful to come across ppl like you. There are so many angry and hateful ppl in this world. Racism is at an all time high also. When I see ppl with a heart like mine I love it. I wish I could hug and kiss your mom and dad right now. You obviously grew up in a house of love, respect and good character. This is rare! In the beginning of starting my channel I would let all types of ppl come up here and say stupid, ignorant things. Now I demand respect. Whether it's from a subscriber or non subscriber, if I see any hateful comments or someone disrespects me I immediately delete the comment, report it or block the person. I no longer argue with anyone about my video topics. Everyone doesn't have to agree. However, we all need to respect each other. I'm really happy you spoke out. I hope someone reads your comments and learns a few lessons.

I love the fact that you are trying to teach black women how to better themselves But it seems like you're throwing men under the bus as to say we are the cause of black women's pain and anger. I've been hurt by black women and I don't take it out on the next black woman I date. I love our women but the anger should be bestowed on a man if he deserves it

PharaohLawLess1 I don't understand how your interpretation of my video was throwing men under the bus. What you heard me saying was some of the things that have caused some black women to be angry. These are just facts. Not one time did I bash or throw any man under the bus. That's why some women have anger because of things that have happened in their past. Actually I tell the women to stop tearing down the men amongst other things. I'm not sure if you're familiar with all of my other videos. I am positive and don't tear anybody down or throw ppl under the bus. Thank you for viewing my video sir. I appreciate your feedback. Godbless you.

+missctolbertvoh You mentioned how men did something to the woman like beating her, verbally abusing her and cheating and that caused the black woman to be angry so maybe yes, I can see how that cause such a state with black women but the root of what you're saying is that a man caused it. Maybe I should've used a better choice of words. I commend you none the less for making the video and posting it and please believe me that I passed this video on to almost every woman I know

+PharaohLawLess1 thank you sir for passing the video to others! I truly appreciate you. But let me explain, those things I named honestly were not to put all the blame on men. I just know that many of these angry black women have these types of backgrounds. Some don't know how to read, or write. Some have been molested or abandoned by a parent, whether it was the mother or father. I just happened to cover what I see more frequently and that's the abuse by the hands of a man. I'm not saying in any way that men are the reason why the black women are angry. The root was being abused period. Life situations whether it was men or women doing the things I named, it played a part in the bad attitudes of SOME black women.

+missctolbertvoh Ok. And I like how you put "SOME" black women bcuz I'll be really honest I have met black women who are angry and I have met black women who went through the ringer and had it a turbulent life but they still smiled and they we NOT angry. Lol. Maybe a little jaded and guarded somewhat but they have a positive outlook on life and dating and would be a great asset to any man that has them. I tell brothas all the time there are really really good sisters out there. They may not be the most attractive but what else they bring to the table way more than makes up for the superficial outward looks and I tell my brothers those should be the ones you go after. Not the gold diggin, weavr down her back, finger nails so long she can't possibly cook nor wash her behind, fake eye lashes, went to the Dominican Republic to get the booty shots, small brained type of girl
