One of the biggest fitness questions that most young INDIAN lifters seem to have is - SHould you lift heavy or light to build muscle? Lifting heavy or light weights to build muscle is a complicated topic. But in today's video I've tried breaking it down as simply as i can. I feel that its an essential part of learning when it comes to weight training for beginners. The best rep range for YOU - whether you should lift heavy weights or light weights - depends on a number of factors. The best rep ranges for muscle growth, the best rep range for size and the best rep range for strength is one complicated topic. Heavy or light weights depend on YOUR goal. Should you lift heavy weight with low reps or lift weight for more reps - The answer lies in today's super special weight training video.

I just knew the opposite and i was worried that why i am just gaining strength and no size. Thankyou so much dude. Great inspiration
the gym i joined, the trainer there treated me like shit just because I'm not fit and he was talking to the other not so unfit girls so nicely and was polite to them while training just because they were fit. nice no? that's why i left that place and now I'm doing it at home with your guidance :) you're the sweetest.

How about you stop reading comments if they make you uncomfortable?? The moment you are on the internet you are open to judgement and suggestions from others...
This guy is having a nice way of explaining things to the people and I've never seen someone with that amount of knowledge about bodybuilding. The way you relates it to the science is commendable and it makes sence as well at the same time. In other words you are the best person if someone is looking for an advice on bodybuilding.

Was waiting forthis video, this is just a detailed version of the earlier heavy/light weight training. This makes my science very clear and now I know what to do! Will share this video to others so that they get to correct their myths and wrong ideas. #BroScience #Motivation #Knowledge . Btw, your tattos are incredibly awesome and your body makes justice to those awesome tattos.
Supercool video n supercool knowledge. Nice work man and thanks for sharing your knowledge on KZread. These tiny bits of knowledge help with experience and improve training, specially for those who are not taking personal training. Just 2 things to keep in mind for next videos bro, your body language. Your hands are expressive but you need to keed your head calm a bit. Secondly, I know this is difficult but try to wrap up your knowledge in somewhere between 5 to 8 mins. Now this may be personal thing and I can't say that for anyone else but try to keep the video under 10 min bracket. Thanx again for that precious knowledge.
You are just amazing. This has really helped me alot. Thanks man :)

I am 100% not interested in aesthetics, I only want to be the strongest skater on the track. I've been on a 5x5 program for about a month and started questioning it recently because I'm starting to get big, which is *not* my goal. Is what it is, though, I'm glad to know it won't get out of control! Thanks for clearing that up!
Love the way u talk n explain everything
Superb knowledge!
So is it ok if I mix it up. So in a workout of 5 sets, can I do a 2 set of heavy weight strength and 3 sets of low weight high reps. And if yes, what should be the order of precedence in this.. so in the set of 5 should we first do the lighter one or heavier?
i learned a lot of new things ,thanks buddy
2 things @beerbiceps : 1) Add whatever you are saying in your description, that way it will help people to understand words that they missed out on. 2) A video of the science behind how muscle is built starting from food intake?
Hi Ranvir! Please do a video on different types of intermittent fasting and Reverse Pyramid Weight Training. I have been following it for a while and results seem impressive
Hey, Really helpful guidelines about Body building and strength building...Thanks.. So I work out single body part in a day for like 45 mins and then cardio for 45 mins as I have fat belly.. so I wanted to ask that if I am working on my biceps like 4 sets with 20 reps with lower weight on first week and then next week on biceps day if I go heavy with lower reps would it be helpful building strength and body at the same time?
Your totally inspired me to do workout .. thanks for that

I didn't understand the concept of playing with reps. How do I schedule a workout for it? For example, I shud perform a one exercise with higher reps and the second exercise with lower reps?...Is that what is to be done?
Intensity and Volume !! Make these two clear.
Hi ranveer, I am a beginner I got the reps thing but how many sets you should do for any body part with medium rep range...

does walking on more distance / running for less distance helps in reducing stomach fat or stomach excercise helps to reduce stomach fat faster , which one is more effective 😊
Bro one doubt after my workout...immediately my muscle expands and looks bulky after few hours then decrease ..what kind effect is this..it helps in strength or size??
But what should be the repetitions of strength training for weight loss plan?
Dear Ranveer Fast reps or slow which is better ?
Ranveer.. bro..you are doing a great job but I realise after joining gym is most of the people are willing to time their body rather looking like superman or superwoman. Would you like to create a special edition for the gymers aspiring an asthetic body aspi
