An Eterna was the first watch I bought my wife. I really like this watch and the quality is all there for that price.

Hello and thank you for your review of this Eterna watch...I bought an Eterna Vaughan Big Date a few years ago and supposedly it is an in house movement which I was very happy to find out.

Love vintage eterna matic watches. Great quality, reliability and accuracy.

Thats very nice. I got a Jee Super Kontiki earlier his year. I was actually very impressed by how nice the case was on it. Some Interesting facts, ETA originally was set up by Eterna to make movments for third parties. Eventually, ETA became part of the Swatch group and the 2 are no longer associated with each other. There symbol is actually 5 ball bearings in reference to there rotor design on there old Automatic movments. The currant Eterna is owned by a Hong Kong based company City champ.

That caseback is beautifully decorated!

I have love for several independent brands, one is Doxa, the other one is Eterna. One should definitely know that Eterna is progenitor to today's ETA or Sellita three hand movements. SW200-1 or ETA2824-2 dating back to Eterna calibre 633 is a fact. All the movements they put in their watches are mostly top or chronometer grade versions of Sellita/ETA. Beside that, the brand itself has a history.

Very nice watch, I purchased some time ago the Eterna Adventic GMT with the in-house Spherodrive movement. I was blown away by their build quality and the look of the Guilloche dial is fantastic. Love the Eterna brand.

Eterna is a fantastic brand with lots of history. I think they're making a comeback. I HAVE to get one for my collection. Just a matter of time.

They got some very nice pieces. And considering brand and quality a Kontiki diver isn’t priced too bad.

Someone is selling Eterna artena E2520.41.41.1258 watch for 170€ used is it a good deal?

Why the date window? At least do white on black (or grey).

7 - 11 + - secs a day? That's probably regulated in one or two positions, but not more.

Where did you find this for $500? Here in the UK is close to $1500

Orient Bambino is a fraction of the price and better looking.

I used to own the Bambino. It’s a good watch for the money but this Eterna is much better in many aspects.

I disagree. I really like the caseback with that beautiful perlage and Cotes De Geneve, and the better Hz rate appeals to me more.
