I live in PA and Nationwide is doing a ""National inspection and cleanse "". We ended up getting a new roof and gutters and having some tree work done. The story I got from my local agency was that Nationwide is tired of the Act of God claims and are viewing homes via satellite pictures and home inspections with appraisers and drones. I have a 50 Year old Cape Cod, corner property, 4 bedrooms, finished basement, blah blah blah. Now? After I spent $20,K total? Everything is good.

Our KW Cabover is nearly completed and I can't wait to get it on the road. Jessie can't wait to take a road trip in it. Kid's are happy seeing it back together except for a few pieces. Kid's are happy with one more week of school then it's time for work. Boy's are going to be busy mowing yard's and youngest daughter is going to be taking care of answering phone's and stuff. The secretary we had was terminated by my Godmother and me. Failure to respect customer's. She is not going to be happy when it's payday no paycheck.

For the dash and all the interior of your truck, pick up some BullSnot Interior cleaner. It works great and repels all the dust from your dash. And they even have a product called Tire Butter, obviously for the tires, and it will restore your dashes shine to like new. But will have a slight film to it. The interior cleaner has no film or slimy feel to it. Great stuff.

You have the K100e model ( 1985 and up ) it has a longer cab , front of the cab to back by a few inches over the first gen K100c with the round headlights.

bro i don’t think you’re a bad guy & i love the fact you respect yourself as a trucker & business owner, not denying the fact that the market is horrible right now, however it’s still possible to gross 5-8k and keep a good chunk of it, i don’t work for fuel but i think you’re closed off when it comes to your route & what you haul, try to venture off into another side of trucking or a different route, im working texas only have grossed over 5k monday through friday, while moving houston/dallas/aaustin/san antonio

If you like Jokic, I would watch a player, Stephen Curry, on the Golden State Warriors. He is a Christian as well, and really selfless too. They didn't do too well this year and aren't in the playoffs, but I would highly recommend giving him a watch too. Also, on the in cab pre-trip, when I got my CDL, they made us air it up to make sure the low air warning went off and governor kicks in around 120psi (if I remember right). Then we had to shut off the truck, turn it back to accessory and release the trailer and parking brakes before hitting the brake pedal until the low air warning cane on and the brakes both popped.

wat up justin thats a 13 Double over drove one with v8 cat pushin it 72 k 100 double bunk with king size bed in it with fold up jump seat thats were you get dressed at standing up you know that big cam cummins can put out 700 hp if built right ol southern shakers truck 71 long hood kw was powered by one that would run 150mp i know i was chasing him trying to keep up

During the air down the D. O. T. Officer is looking to see how fast/slow you lose air. As well as the low air light and warning buzzer. They also check how fast it builds air. For those with automatic transmissions? Remember they're air operated. So, losing air pressure can affect more than the brakes.

Bottom feed is better in the long run. Becasue it picks up on the bottom, you don't get build up in your tanks.

I was taught during air brakes tests the it should be in neutral with the engine off only for standards….for automatics wheels should be chalks for air brakes tests

Just had a coworker fail in-cab inspection the other day because he didn't check that the wipers had enough pressure against the windshield.

Your air pressure should build up to 120 psi and when you do the fan down, there’s three things they’re looking for the light the buzzer and your red button pops out for your traction protection valve

30 plus years of driving, and I doubt I could pass an official pre trip inspection. I know what I'm looking at and look at it all during a trip. That Cummins sounds good 👍

K100 truck is running good

Jesse was happy driving out KW around the block and it runs excellent. Still waiting on other stuff. The glass sunroo both of them rectangular size came in and a friend who does windows installation installed them in and I was happy. He's going to be doing all the glass installation. The door window's are next waiting for the part's that makes the window go up and down. We have the driver's side finished waiting for the passenger side. Interior is completed except for the bottom mattress which is being customized by a really really good friend (Stupid @$$ Monkey) she's doing it. We told her that it's ok to do other customers and she was like it's ok. Since she became famous on Gas Monkey Garage she's been packed up for interior.

One of the lines in the top of the tank should be the pickup the lines under the tank is a crossover to keep the tanks equal take the cap off and look inside the other plug on the top is the return

Chad has short cab you have long cab I have same as you I did upper window cracked last window only had 4 inches to go and cracked it

Are you going to install a Green apu on the K100?

I drove a old western star(she was a heavy hauler) that had that same shift handle as your K100…it was a 18 speed towards you and back was low or deep reduction…I drove it as a 8 speed when empty (split shit selector in high) just used high/low range for 30-60k lbs I drove it like 12 ( split the top 4) over 60k lbs I split all 8 gears….mine you could use high range in reverse I personally don’t recommend it, you will be doing 30 mph in reverse 😮…. I hope for your sake it is a 18 speed I ❤️that tranny..

o yeah those hoses can swell and even fall apart over time clogging them you should replace every fuel line heck even air line to be honest on a truck that old pretty much rebuild and replace almost everything to be safe

Trucking is not always about the big money on a long haul as well know yet every day i read from there where so many are sitting compalaong. You messed up yes they will want u to keep pumping your brakes till light comes on at 60psi but they will still want u keep pumping the brakes till 20psi r 30 psi make sure ur brake pops up for safty brake feature

The way I learned is full charge, and then fully discharge the air pressure, then watch the recharge as they wanted it to be within 60 seconds.

Crazy but the air releases the brakes and when you hit the breaks it shuts off the air to the chambers .

No. Air holds back the springs in case of an air loss the springs apply the brakes. Service brakes (brake pedal) applies air to a diaphragm that pushes on the brakes. Two different systems
