Finally breaking 20 minutes for the 5K course at Rushmoor parkrun had been a running goal for a long time. After nearly 2 years and having previously run 20:28 on this course, I was back on the start line to try and hold SUB 4 minute kilometres.

    @@thisisjogon big difference versus tarmac courses, hills v flat but that's the beauty of all the different Parkrun variables isn't it 😊. Running starting to come together - knee feels strong again, upped the mileage, just trying to build the fitness up for another PB attempt in 4-5 weeks

    5:08 sprint girl has to be the sprintiest of sprint finishers ever. As someone who often does time-keeping at parkrun, they're a good test of concentration

    Well done Harry on the sub 20 minutes 5k. I'm still struggling for a sub 24. Achieved 25.22 at ParkRun yesterday. Gotta keep going. Congratulations. Terrific time, especially with slow start. 👍😇

    Great work buddy . Rushmoor is a long 5k so I think comfortably under that at parkrun elsewhere

    Well done. managed to get back to sub 20 (19:55) in December last year. Hoping I can hit that time again or better this year. 1:40 the announcer does have a habit of not being close enough to the start for us to hear. On one occasion, she had the mic and amp but seemed oblivious to the fact it was in her hand.

    Well done Harry.....the bit with Steph was interesting. I say this because my favourite of your videos were the 500k Challenge ones and I was wondering what series of Challenge videos could come next - I thought maybe you could do a month of Steph's training, but never got around to suggesting it......it could still happen! Easy isn't it? ;o)

    It's funny you mention this, I have considered the idea of shadowing a week of an elite athletes training, I'm not sure I'd be standing at the end of it..

    @@thisisjogon YES! Go for it Harry....got to be two weeks minimum though. Incidentally, I think I'm going to try the 500k Challenge later in the year (work permitting) and possibly the Goggins Challenge too (that'll fit in with work much more easily)

    Well done Harry! Great running on what looked like a tough course. Finally got a PB yesterday at my parkrun and breaking the 18 minute barrier was insane! Let me know if you’re ever in the liverpool area keep it up mate loving the content 👍

    Well done on getting back to Sub-20! I managed to get my 5k PB about 3 weeks after I finished self isolating with covid, crept in finally breaking the 19 minute mark with 18:54! Hope to break at least 18:30 this year!

    Ahh, fantastic result sad I couldn't be there for the momentous occasion, the weekend after your redemption I achieved my new parkrun PB of 18:07 soooo close to sub 18.... I love the videos, and the training you are putting in you will get faster and stronger
