No pigs this time round: oh well, it’s still a trip away, and that’s never a bad thing. It’s almost unbelievable how much water they get out that way, and that’s good for times ahead. Still plenty to do with fishing and the like. Good vid Mate. Cheers.

When there is heaps water flood mate as you know they will camp on ridges , high ground and camp up early when plenty of water flood around

so many fish and yabbies! leave the pans out and prolly have em jumping into the pan!

Great seen you on here Stu. Mate would be good if you can do a catch and cook the Yabbies 🦞🦞 I made a home made fly trap with couple of 2 litre bottles of coke around the house we stayed at and it kept those nasty blow flys 🪰 away . Great video again thanks for sharing 👍

Well done stu that’s why I can’t get back out west of longreach caretaking coz it started raining and one of the owners turned up and said if you want to get back home now’s a good time to go, coz I was stuck out there the weekend of Anzac flooded in but that’s the way I like it cheers mate 👍🍻🇦🇺

Hi stu, if your now poking around SW QLD the Culgoa floodplains used to be pig mecca, ie Cubbie station to Woolerbilla but these areas are now cotton but down river would still be good.

They love water but not to live in 24/7. They either move on or high ground. I shot a rabbit to confirm the thermal was sighted in. 350 legend 180grn projectile....too gory to post up.

LOL yes there is fresh water but we hunt on rivers where there is a lot of mud or red soil which taints the water.
