I like it when pigs act like balloons. You puncture them and they squeal like they have a slow leak. Makes me smile every time.

I fancy myself a pretty good shot but damn Stu you are a shooting magician . You and that 30.06 are a pig's worst nightmare. Keep it up I love the videos!

Stu you sharpshooting swine slayer (try to say that fast 3 times). I was just thinking it's about time for another Hunting with Stu video and this suddenly appeared. That happened last time too. I'm getting superstitious! I need to try this with next weeks lottery numbers. Anyway, another great video. My psychic abilities tell me the next one will be a kayak adventure (officially known as a Hunting with Stu Sharpshooting-Swine-Slayer-Australian-Kayak-Adventure but I've abbreviated it for the upcoming book). The ranges are around the 100 to 150m mate. Actually the video is very much like what you see as it doesn't have a zoom focus. Sort of like the human eye would see.

Stu, where in Australia are you hunting? The land you’re hunting looks exactly like the central California coastal range I hunt pigs. Going Friday as a matter of fact! If I didn’t know better, I’d swear you’re in California! Good shots, great video!

150grn are the best we have found mate. 130 too light and 180 and above too heavy n slow

Hi mate sometimes on a dry clay crusted boar the small 223 bullet will not penetrate the dried mud on a boars shoulder. However, in this sceneri the 150grn fired from a 30/06 will have no trouble penetrating

Good question mate. I have only ever shot at ferals like Deer, Pigs, Goats, Cats etc so probs several thousand shots thru ferals mate.

are you allowed to eat them / give the meat out to friends or the property owners? i remember reading recently that you're suppose to just leave the pig in place once its dead. Pretty wasteful policy if so.

Yes there is a market for pigs but you have to be a registered pro shooter. Dave is a pro shooter but they are not buying pigs at the moment. In Australia we have a real pig problem so thinning them out is the priority.

Mountain Goat Country Stu. New England Ranges mate. Tough on the body. Where ya want tripod to smack em on the next range mate. Hardcore mate. You and Dave are the Men for the job. Always be aware of that ZOMBIE Dusk and into the night when your on that solo mission on the Quaddy Legend ! I don't want to hear about Stu , The Feral Pest Eradicator taken by a Zombie please Legend in the Media or news Papers. Just saying , as there's not many of us can can do what we do for Farmers and the Country Mate.

2:20 those birds tried to warn em, but the hogs wouldn't listen someone should do a mini film with you hunting near dark, get separated from group and the zombies come out, you hole up in an abandoned cabin then shoot your way out with super-illegal-in-.AU guns like beltfed suppressed, rocket launchers, etc.

I don't have the license for an AR but I reckon that a bolt action makes the shooter aim better as an AR I would become trigger happy I reckon.
