Great video Stu once again, the kayak videos are the pick of them, very relaxing but also fun to watch them roll back down the bank.

I agree Stew. It’s the adrenaline of the hunt or hook set that brings us back. You can’t get that from anything else. The adventure is always different and the hope of success is always there.

Pleased that you can still hang in there between kayak hunts mate. Takes all kinds to make the world go round. Just between you n me they really are good guys.

Love your videos. They do a good job of showing how effective “older” gear can be in the right hands. Not that having newer options like AR10s should be prohibited. It’s just cool to switch up every once in a while.

Haven't watched your stuff in ages but I must say you are good company in the reloading room and ive got some catching up to do. These kayak videos are pretty cool. As I say a good miss is better than a kak hit.

Your closing comments are a reflection of my views of hunting and fishing. It's not the result it is the experience. Roe deer stalking is my passion but I've missed countless opportunities due to being distracted by some other aspect of the great outdoors. No regrets, just another memory. Regards from Scotland.

Generally in the middle of a hot day mate. However, late arvo hunts are good as well. Just gotta be aware of zombies is all.

Can't see the crocs until it is too late as a general rule. This is why I am not in croc waters.

Welcome mate. it is very stable shooting from the kayak. We don't take out the meat as we are there it thin out numbers.

Nice to catch up Stu seems like the eye is spot on, just finished carving 2 whitetail deer, hoping to get out tues for another. It's was minus -22 but getting warmer should be ok 74+🍁hunter Yorkshire expat. Ps: what's the make of that 30-06

Only about 2m deep and you can hunt all year but on the billabong the best time is summer.

I'm not sure about this area buddy but is there saltwater crocs where you kayak there?
