"You ain't ready for this one" and the echo on it. Ugh, that part makes me laugh so hard.

I can't even imagine the amount of work you put into this. This is legit af. Subbed. Not only is this a really clever jab at the KZread algorithm as a final fantasy parody, everything about this was so reminiscent of the golden FF games. The idle animations, the jump backs after the attacks, the zoom ins on characters after a special attack, the over exaggerated anime-esque dialogue and one liners with reverb, everything feels nostalgic, you really outdid yourself bro. The details are incredible here.

If Square Enix put out a game like this i wouldnt question anything

Ah, I see what went wrong in this battle. See, Thirst Trapga has a hidden attribute to it that boosts damage towards male characters, but strangely does reduced damage on female characters. Now, while the composition they were using was optimal for this battle in terms of damage, the risk of being one-shotted by 30M was extremely high. However if you are adamant about using this team, there is a few ways to go about it. Before burning the boss to half health, one needs to cast 'False Drip' on Algorithm. False Drip will lower Algorithm's magic stat tremendously, so while it will still do tremendous damage, it should allow you to just barely hold on. Another option is to equip Artie with the 'Defier' gun. This one is more risky, but Defier give Artie a chance to survive an attack that would've done lethal damage to him. However the chance for this to actually activate is extremely low, so take that into account as well.

I think at max level Konchii unlocks a spell called catfish or something like that which allows algorithm-based attacks to heal instead of damage

God the FFX music will FOREVER slap.

As an old school JRPG fan, i couldn't stop laughing the whole video and be into every move they made. Video is pure joy, 10/10 content.

Dude this is perfect lmao This really feels like an endgame party throwing out weird endgame moves and the standard final boss dialogue. Idk if you ever played Persona 5 Strikers but the final boss dialogue could be straight out of that.

Omega FF15, but I LOVED every second of it. Well 1 Hour.

I hate the fact that this is so fuckin true! This is also the equivalent of when you fight the boss vs. When you unlock them and they're in your party or using them😂

I love the Algorithm as how it is portrayed, being an androgynous deity, and the whole concept behind this creation. I loved the swordsmsn who poses like Tidus, I think. There are so many reference elements, yet it feels its own standalone thing that if it was a game, a project deeper than just a parody, I would love to play it.

Nice to see someone use Artie-Mack in the late game. People underrate his gun skills so much and I don't understand why.

There's a guide somewhere on here. "Artie-Mack Limit Loop OTK" for fighting most minor bosses. I used it for a long time to grind through early levels, but there isn't enough MP to use it on the later boss fights. I think that's why OP didn't try it here and just went straight DPS.

Well it's because Artie-Mack's stats don't really scale very well until you hit disc 2 and find the "real nigga" material. That gives him the ability to do the "Tio Choko" quest later on. He has to beat those 3 big Mexican dudes that be dancing with Tio and you have to do a sequence where you dress up as a random power ranger to get Uncle Choko.

I always come back to watch this every couple of months and it never ceases to amaze me. I always loved how absurd the FF series can be about defeating Gods, Mystics, and Monsters with a freaking Blitz Ball, but still had heartwarming characters and a memorable narrative that you not only take seriously but sticks with you forever. Love it!

Great Character Design and Writing+Turn-Based Meme Gameplay+Meta Driven narrative of Talent vs Algorithm= 10/10 Masterpiece💯 Honestly you could've saved the Uncle Choko summon after nullifying the 30 million follower attack if you use the UNO reverse card counter spell before hand to reflect the damage back at him, thus taking no damage, then you can use Uncle Choko for dealing above 9999 damage due to the algorithm's defense decrease after using 30 million followers, based on booty vibe moves you have that the Algorithm has. You know, traditional rpg strats and tips I have for you to beat the Algorithm;)

You have to get a "viral" hit in before the algorithm gains enough user data to determine who the next thirst trap will be. It's been confirmed that for a viral hit you need to do at least 140,000 LPP (likes per post) in at least one attack during the player turn.

Might be able to use a summon to shield the attack just like he did for pixelation. Though I guess that one's a single target attack anyway and wouldn't have wiped.

Actually, I noticed another thing. Zero Talent happened in between character turns. So this is definitely a scripted attack. Could be based on how much HP the boss has left. So there's definitely something you have to cast or use to prevent it.

@@xchronox0 You have to equip someone in your party with a special item before entering this fight. It makes it so that character will never die in one hit and instead be left at 1hp. After Zero Talent, use that character to revive the rest of your team. Should be able to beat phase 1 before he does it again.

Oh! It's this fight! So I found out what went wrong after a bit of analyzing. First, you needed to swap Artie out to one of the backup characters and sacrifice them for the hidden attribute of Kitty Powder, which increases Konchii's attack for each party member that's knocked out (it took me about several times of fighting the Algorithm to find that out). After reviving them, you should swap Artie back in asap and have him summon Uncle Choko immediately. Rock Titan is useless in this fight despite his damage, as you found out by the Algorithm mercilessly crushing him. You were doing great, though, up until Thirst Trapaga. See, what you need to do for that is summon Marlon Webb, which will protect you as Thirst Trapaga is initated right after you summon Marlon. Now, for the weaponry, you built it more for support. Those weapons do low damage but give you a boost on healing items as you saw with the Mega Phoenix. Radicus should've had "Hypebuster" equipped, Artie needed the "Suppressor" attribute to the "Backyard Rodeo" gun (it increases his ATK with every turn that passes, and is broken.
