When i was a student, i used to get my Allowance for the whole le week, I'm rich for three days 😂coz i have the money then i barely manage the last two days because theres nothin' left😅 obviously they for sure have money but very tight or just budgeted it for the rest of the week.... Thanks for your kindness, appreciate what you did there. You'll be in their hearts forever and that's something. You make happy Davud that how you interact with the locals coz sometimes they don’t really have much money, I see them really enjoying their foods. They really hospitable person. Take care Davud❤

That was a great deal, ₱1300 for 11 people. Lechon could also be served at weddings. Toyo is the local term for soy sauce. Some carinderias (small restaurants) could also cook food when asked by customers. You just have to pay for the service. I tried it once and brought the food to the hotel. We have a lot of Filipino desserts like leche flan, puto bumbong, maja blanca, kuchinta, puto, bibingka, pichy-pichy, ube halaya, banana cue, kamote cue, ginataan, saging con yelo etc.

In Cebu, lechon is available daily everywhere. There are a few lechon chains in Cebu but lechon shops are all over Cebu islands but there are 2 cities in Cebu which are more famous in lechon: Carcar City and Talisay City. Talisay is a border city south of Cebu City. Carcar City is about 40 kilometers further south of the island.

Hello Davud.. great content in all of your videos! I think you'll enjoy the Philippines, as you probably already know that we're a friendly nation. Just a comment: "Puso" means "heart".. it's the package of rice that's shaped like a "heart" weaved from palm leaves. Also, "Lechon" means "Rotisserie" over hot coals.. it could be Chicken but traditionally whole Pig. BTW, Cebu has the best Lechon in the Philippines! The sauce you had was a mixture of vinegar & soy sauce (Toyo). I'm jealous.. I live in the US now and it's difficult to get "Lechon Baboy" (Rotisserie Whole Pig).
