You're so right & it's so sad 😢. I'm a retired vet but 2 weeks ago I was trying to help a vet that has been staying with her sister for 4 months but was told she has to find a place to live. The crisis hotline for vets said they can't help her unless the homeless shelters have no room or AFTER she's already been put out. This is in Hampton, Virginia!!! How SICKENING is that. This is not a young female veteran but a 67 (almost 68) yr old female vet with congestive heart failure & chronic anemia. I was shocked at the less than $600 she receives a month for PTSD & around $800 for social security. She qualifies for affordable housing but every where I took her has waiting lists for days, but illegal immigrants can immediately be placed in hotels while American citizens are facing homelessness instead of being put in a hotel to HELP THEM get out of the cold! If I didn't have children & grandchildren in this country I declare I'd become a citizen elsewhere. Lord help our nation 🙏🏽😢🪖✝️☝🏽

I lived through the aftermath of the Mariel boat lift in south Florida, in a semi rural area south of town. Our burglaries increased exponentially till we can’t even remember how many times we came home to a trashed house. Eventually the Columbian drug dealer that was our next door neighbor to the north murdered the Cuban drug dealer to the south, at around noon on a sunny spring Sunday in South Florida. My kids were playing in the yard and riding bikes on the street and the murderer walked past us. This is a real thing

Mr. Sims is also a victim harassed by judges and police with no understanding why, yet he does make valid points and calls out his alderwoman for her lack of action in twenty plus years in office. Americans have to support and help educate their fellow citizens and is why open forums. Unfortunately, looks like everyone one is impacted by ignorance because Uncle Sam will eventually need tax dollars to fund the illegal immigration which they have reclassified. Even if they voted not knowing Johnson, Johnson still has to follow laws. Americans can demand sanctuary cities must not receive federal dollars to aid and supply resources to illegal immigration’s, and they can further demand no funding until these illegal borders crossers obtain a immigration approved and established asylum classification, no funding for illegal border crossers with court hearing pending future dates or those that haven’t applied outside America. As many comes will be more and more wanting to establish chain migration. Our system isn’t broken. Taken care of Americans is broken. The correct laws are on the books.

The problem with these meetings is that the elected officials aren’t required to respond to questions. This need to change! We the people elected them. We pay their salaries with our tax money. They should be required to answer questions from the public. By this not being a requirement, everyone talking is just wasting their time and energy and that’s why the mayor and city council are smirking and ignoring your grievances. They know this is all for show and nothing of substance will be done because they know they don’t represent us and don’t care about what we think..
