Nah. PF is full of rotten people. Been playing since 1.0 and without failure, PF toxicity is always the reason I take long breaks. They ruin the game. What’s mentally taxing isn’t prog. It’s dealing with nasty people who are extremely toxic and probably wake up in the morning and choose violence.

I got Rank 1 UwU in like 2022 on my very first clear. It's literally nothing to brag about, cause very few people still clear it, it's an easy fight and you can pad on top of that. If you're a top 10 player when content is still fresh I may have more respect for your opinion, but getting a good rank in outdated as fuck content means jack shit.

A solid reason why i will *NEVER* touch a ultimate raid or savage raid. Im fine with the extreme trials, i think im cool enough with my trial weapons. Also i would’ve exposed them by showing their name

I've never seen a no swap ifrite especially with drk+pld, the DPS must have been carrying to still skip dashes and avoid the 2nd buster. wish more DPS was like that.

you still had aggro he just stood in two garuda feathers causing a double dot which brought him down to 19.4k before he soaked the tb, not to mention overmitting first homing laser leaving him with less mit for the 2nd regardless of whether he was or wasn't taking it

I wished them kudos. D: after they was making up excuses and not following directions that I have gave them that they agree on. Instead of them asking questions of what I’m doing they decided to go off their own accord and not working with my conditions that I have set out. I’m against players being oblivious. So when he said my mit plan “doesn’t work” because he disregarded everything I said. I just told them why it doesn’t work to them. Also key word before I got kicked “you do 30 more damage than me so you ripped aggro”

The guy is not wrong. You actually used a wrong mitigation. Pug Off Tank always take the first Ifrit tankbuster with invul. Since you are PLD MT; if you take the first Ifrit tankbuster, your invul wont be back for 2nd Homing Laser. The typical Ultima Homing Laser is: 1st. Off Tank = Kitchen Sink 2nd. Main Tank = Soaking Both Homing Laser and Vicious Aetheroplasm with Invul. 3rd. Off Tank = Whatever. Changing the other of Homing Laser soak in pug is why the OT was confused during the 3rd TB. I can see why your OT was pissed.

But technically he agreed to doing homing Lazer 1/2. He could have said he want to do 1/3. But again I asked but didn’t follow anything I said and he ended up soaking the 2nd homing Lazer

@@imalen3217​​⁠​⁠​⁠In a normal situation, regardless of if you skip dashes, you shouldn’t be dying to post dashes if you have to take the TB. Worst case scenario you struggle bus your way through titan, but you’re MTing as a PLD, so you should be fine even if you aren’t playing WAR. Sounded like some miscommunication, but I wouldn’t pull till you clarify those things.

They will not be suspended. For all the memes of the omnipresent and omnicaring GMs in FF14, they actually do not give the slightest shit. I have been called racial slurs in multiple dungeons, reported them, saw them in Limsa shout chat 3 days later, no consequences whatsoever. Players need to start really talking about how the GMs do not care.

if you're going to do paladin relative mitplan then you should probably establish that sooner in the party to make sure everyone is on the same page; most PFs are going to do generic alternating tank CDs. Their response was uncalled for but you were also just wrong.

@Lyu-Phy well skilled players also realize getting rank one means you have someone specifically sandbagging for you to meet kill times needed in each phase. There's also just scummy things where you have people change positions etc the let you get slightly more dps. So getting high rank in pf can mean you're griefing to some degree. Not always and can be fight specific but that's why most skilled players don't care about rankings.
