With the release of Patch 6.4, quite significant changes happened to how Paladin plays, so I will try my best to explain it in this comment, alongside other changes, however, I am working on a guide explaining the max level version of the rotation. Notably, the rotation is only affected once you unlock Atonement at level 76. On to the changes: -> Circle of Scorns initial damage is changed: 100 -> 120 potency, DoT damage is unchanged. -> Riot Blade's potency: 280 -> 300 at level 84+ -> Royal Authority's potency: 380 -> 400 at level 84+ -> Atonement's potency: 380 -> 400 at level 84+ -> Divine Veil now has a 30 yalm area, so it is almost impossible to miss anyone if you are not hiding away in a corner. -> Atonemnet *no longer breaks combos*: What this means for your rotation is that you should prioritize Fast Blade and Riot Blade much higher outside of Fight or Flight, this will sometimes cause you to have Atonements available to spend in Fight or Flights where before you were forced to use Fast Blade or Riot Blade.

As a returning player who has not played since Endwalker came out and was blindsighted by the Paladin rework, this video was an amazing way to get me back up to speed, thank you!

A bonus tip about something that was changed after the release of this guide is that atonement no longer breaks combos, which means that while not in fight or flight, you can prioritize fast blade and riot blade before you start using atonement and divine might as filler! I'm glad to hear that you found it helpful! 😁 At max level all 4 tanks deal nearly the same damage, with only a few percent difference between each other, so I would recommend choosing a tank based on if you like how it looks or how it plays, rather than which one does the most damage, as which one is strongest can change at the drop of a hat anyway. If you are a beginner to tanking, then Paladin (And Warrior) are the easier tanks because they have less intense rotations. Dark Knight and Gunbreaker on the other hand have extremely high intensity rotations with a lot of button presses which can be very overwhelming to deal with if you are new to tanking as a whole. This also applies if you are new to the game as a whole, in which case you should be aware that only Paladin and Warrior are available from the start of the game, and Dark Knight and Gunbreaker will only be available after you have played for quite a while due to different restrictions😊 I hope that answers your question!
