A little late... but you have problems pronouncing the name of the band? Just try to say the "Feuer" part from "Feuer Frei" by Rammstein. Fire tail (of a dragon) or fire cock. Or listen to kzread.info/dash/bejne/lK2KqrakodDepdY.html where you can hear the pronounciation of "Feuerschwanz" directly ;) Yes, they are a medieval style band. The singer with the chainmail is "Hauptmann Feuerschwanz" (like captain firetail / -cock) The other singer is "Prince R. Hodenherz III" (engl. testicleheart) Woman on violin: "Johanna von der Vögelweide". Vogelweide would be a "bird pasture" or "bird willow". But there is also a verb "vögeln", which means fucking. Do with that as you wish ;) Guitar with hat is "Hans der Aufrechte". Aufrecht means upright, straight or erect. Drums: Sir Lanzeflott. He is quick with his lance. Bass Guitar: Jarne Hodinsson. Again, "Hoden" means testicle. He is the son of prince R. Hodenherz III and a valkyrie. The girls with cat ears belong to the group as well. They are called "Miezen". I´ll let you translate that yourself ;) Also: Others said it already, but horns on viking helmets are an invention by Wagner to show "those guys are the vikings". They didn´t have these helmets in reality.

The Vikings did not have horns on their helmets. They used horns to make drinking cups or instruments, they did not stick them on helmets. The rumor came because it was a tradition, to lay his most beloved drink-horns beside a dead Viking into his grave.(Next his head)

Wasn't it because Wagner used horned helmets for the opera "Ring der Nibelungen"?

Well, this band was once a little one, who played funny partysongs with much folkelements. I know this band for 12 years now and I was at so many concerts but I can‘t get enough. This, what you can see on this video is at almost every concert! Sold out halls, circle pits, moshpits, crowdsurfing.... it‘s totally crazy and make sooooo much fun everytime! The song is about Met (wine made of honey) and Fest (it‘s like to do a big party). They have every year a little festival of their own which is called „Glühmet“ (hot honey-wine) and they celebrate 15 years last year, so they did a „Glühmetfest“ 🤘 if you are able, you should visit a concert here in Germany. They are an absolutly awsome liveband! 🤘

Guess you should check out the Song „Wunsch ist Wunsch“ which translates to „A wish is a wish“...It‘s one of their older songs but one of the funniest, too. ( Read the lyrics in english afterwards. You will like it😜)

The 2 Dancers in the Backround are part of the band and are called Miezen (kittys)

I love that you love this! :D I was on concert of their Metfest Tour last year and it was one of the most fun concerts I have ever been to! Such a party! And they had the venues sell Mead for drinks during the concert. It was amazing! No Metfest without Met ;) And yes, they keep their costumes on! If you haven't yet, check out the support band they had on that tour: Grailknights. Cheesy power metal at its best! They play in their own superhero costumes with capes. Super awesome!

If you are interested, the guitar player was a vocalist of another folk metal band by the name dArtagnan, they have a couple of interesting songs as well.

D´Artagnan was founded later, he´s still part of both bands and D´Artagnan just released a new album. I love both bands.

You have to listen to her version of I See Fire (originally Ed Sheeran). It is a great Version!

Feuerschwanz Is named after the fiery Tail of the Dragon. At least that’s what the Band says... there also is a Song called. Wunsch ist Wunsch. The Lyrics sag: Bow down you Fairy, a wish is a Wish!
