As much as we loved our short visit to Denmark, it was time to push on to Sweden and our first stop was Helsingborg. Helsingborg is known for its old town, home to the medieval Kärnan tower, the only surviving element of a fortress. Nearby is the Gothic Church of St. Mary, dating from the 1300s. Although we only spend a very short few hours exploring Helsingborg on foot, we found it to be a charming city with loads to offer. We opted to stay a few kilometers south of the city in the Råå marina parking which provided access to some great beaches and cycle paths.
