Is Helsingborg, Sweden worth visiting? (Quick & easy day trip from Copenhagen!) 🇸🇪
My visit to Sweden's 9th largest city was far more enjoyable than I had anticipated, filled with rich history and stunning architecture. Sitting just kilometers across the Öresund from Helsingør, Denmark, Helsingborg is a vibrant, modern Swedish city with plenty of attractions to keep you busy on a day trip from Copenhagen, which is just over an hour away by train.
In this video, I visit the city's impressive Stortorget (main square) to admire the impressive Helsingborg Town Hall and the Old Customs House. I then make my way to the Karnan, a medieval tower that offers stunning views of the city and the Öresund from the hilltop above the city.
I end my stroll around Helsingborg with a visit to the Bruket Kaffebar for one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had in Europe, before making my way to the train station to continue on towards Malmö.

travelling via CPH seems like a great way to quickly see Sweden as well. You didn't show the lavish breakfast spread at the hotel!

That's true! And good suggestion about including the breakfast spread in the video. Not sure why I didn't film it this time around!
Rådhuset is not the townhall per say that is across the street called Stadshuset (Cityhouse). Rådhuset is the place where the major and his department sitts every thing else is resided across the street that has with the other city departments.

Real shame about the weather! The view from the top of Kärnan is just great - overlooking the water and the Danish Kronborg castle, which is also worth a visit.

I'd love to visit the Kronborg at some point! Despite being a bit gloomy and overcast, I definitely enjoyed my visit to Helsingborg!
You could argue that the largest attraction in Helsingborg is Sofiero Castle Gardens with it's huge rhododenron garden blooming in late May, early June.
