I admitted and eventually adopted a puppy run over by a car... He couldn't stand up then but a total fighter today after 4 years... Love you Pluto!!!!

God Bless this entire family, everyone working with the rescue group mentioned and the members of the kill shelter that were involved with getting them out of there and into rehabilitation ❤️

Your comment made me recall a video I saw about a dog born both deaf and blind...she was loving the life she had and got around just fine. Her nose told her all she needed to know and she was one happy pupper! It just takes a caring owner to give them a chance.

It's not a sad story it's a story about a dog who is resilient who's found a family who's heart ♥ is in the right place. I wish them happiness and success. I love these types of stories. 😍🥰🤩

Actually he has a lack of proprioception which means he cannot feel where his limbs are in space. Lack of proprioception is common with cerebellar hypoplasia (and heaps of other disorders too, not just congenital brain differences) Humans with a loss of proprioception often walk similarly with high stepping gait.

Fenix doesnt have cerebellar whatsitcalled. ⭐ HE HAS STYLE ⭐

When he kicks his back legs up when he runs he reminds me of a horse running and kicking when they are having fun! They have such beautiful eyes too! So glad these 2 were able to have a family and be loved just as much as they love their family 🥰💜 This is what all animals deserve

Fénix mom and dad are so great. Just seeing her tear up at the end, you know that woman adores her doggo.

Actually, he's beautiful.... I've had bunnies with this condition and currently have a large cat with CH who is deaf as well... it is actually not a partial brain but a form of brain damage that occurs within the womb. It mostly attacks their sense of balance or equilibrium. They will live a normal life span and can enjoy a full and happy life.

You aren't going to call a dog with half a brain smarter than a human, weirdo.

He doesn't have a "partial brain", though. He has a malformed cerebellum, which controls basic actions like movement, that's why he's so goofy walking, but his brain is fine. He's as smart, loving and caring as any other dog

I had a cat that had a plastic stuck to her fur with some rodent glue on it, which she probably licked. Days later she started walking like this. Her nerves would not work in her favor, or misfire. Walking in straight line would take it 10 meters to the side, she would look straight at me, but her legs be all over the place and taking her elsewhere (vertigo?) Also jumping was no longer something this cat could do. Took almost 2 years go get back to her senses. One sense still she hasnt: hearing, she went deaf.

I have a cat who had a birth injury who taught himself how to focus so he could judge where things are. He cannot right himself if falling. He is incredibly affectionate and single-minded when he wants something. Fenix & his sister are normal in all the ways that count, and very, very lucky. Blessed be

All the dogs I have ever had came from rescues or shelters. About sixteen in all. Some have passed away, from age or something. Some were not well when I adopted them. But they were loved The ones I want are the ones that nobody else does
