@@bobboby2400 San Bernardos are really big too, I used to have one that when he stood up he was exactly my size (my height is 194cm) he was really chill with people and he specially loved belly rubs 😊 although he always got really nervous around other dogs since he has a bad experience when he was really young, I took him for a walk and we found a pack of dogs that tried to attack him, I even had to take 2 or 3 bites to save him

He'd much prefer open fields, rivers, .. Too much echo in malls. I was afraid he might freak out... I had a huge dog n some ppl had opposite reaction, telling me off for not having him muzzled!! There were enough muzzles in this video tho!! ;-) Beautifully groomed too. Lovely nature. I say there should be more dogs around, especially the trained service dogs for hospitals, hospice And every senior residents home should have at least one big cuddly dog! Golden retrievers are my favourite!

Our Saint Bernard passed January this year, would always get so many looks on walks it was hilarious. He was 81cm tall and 85kg (187 pounds). Miss that big boy so much, big dog are the best!

We own a 110lb Dutch Shepherd and have taken her a few times to our local (pet-friendly) Canadian Tire store. She's as chill and well-behaved as Cash and tends to attract a LOT of attention due to her golden brindle colors (tiger stripe). Good job with Cash in the mall - such a gentle giant...beautiful doggo. Very much enjoyed your vid.

Honestly everyone should ask before coming up to any dog. Never assume. We had a pure German shepherd puppy and some lady walks up, didn't ask started petting him I could see how unsure the dog was as he was in training with his coat on. After she left the owner told me how much that interaction sucked.

The way i look at it... imagine your walking on the streets and out of nowhere a guy comes to you and starts rubbing your back, shoulder and arms out of nowhere, what would you feel or think?

love how you expected the security guard to come up questioning if he was allowed in the mall only for him to say “no i just can’t believe how big he is!” beautiful dog man & he has a fantastic owner!

@@chocolatmilk2041 You can clearly tell the dog is well trained, friendly, and the owner keeps it close to himself on a LEASH. This place seems to be a local mall and as we saw, already has some dogs/pets roaming around, which leads me to believe that people around that area seem to know that this mall allows pets. Everyone is very happy and curious to see him, which probably indicates that there hasn't been any huge incidents with pets in the mall before. That being said, if someone sees the dog, they don't have to approach it. They can keep as much distance as they'd like. Since the mall allows pets, I'd assume people entering the mall would know of that before hand and if you're scared of dogs then find another mall or again, keep your distance. I see absolutely no problem if the dog is well trained and next to it's owner ( keep in mind on a leash ) like showcased in the video.

I really did just sit here and watch a dog walk through the mall for 16 minutes lol. The dog is so sweet and so wonderful but so is his owner. Being willing to leave if he really has to, treating everyone around him with respect, keeping his dog close which makes people who may be scared feel a little safer. Awesome man and his best friend

But he got off his chain a few times and went running around the neighborhood and never attacked anyone...so I guess people were only in danger if they came in our house.

It's crazy seeing so many people unaware of Dane's in general, or of big dogs. I've grown up with Dane's all my life, and one with the exact colors as Cash. She passed away a month ago today after being an unusual 13 years old. Love that you take him into public like this!

Cash is being such a good boy! I love big dogs, I had an 135 lb Akita named Kai that was the sweetest boy - a gentle giant. I miss him a lot!

I love how everyone's so excited and happy to see him, it must be fun bringing him around!

@@try9749 for sure. I used to walk one. 8 out of ten people say something to you. Fine at first, until the 1000th time you hear the same things. .. then it starts getting old

First time watching. Cash seemed to be more at ease after talking to the security guard. This was my dream dog ever since I was a kid. He's like a small horse with those beautiful expressive eyes. I hate seeing people shy away from dogs in fear when, in all actuality, it should be the other way around. Most of the time, the dogs ignore the people. LIKED, COMMENTED & SUBSCRIBED 🤗💖

People tend to forget that most malls in the United States are pet friendly. Cash was so well behaved. From a sd handler prospective, we greatly appreciate people as responsible and respectful as you. I love watching cash

Lambhorgini is just plastic … it won’t take care of you or protect you but a dog can and it can interact with you also

As a service dog handler I appreciate that you got permission before entering with your dog. Taking them into non-pet friendly places can be dangerous but an amazing training opportunity. Please remember that he asked before bringing his ~pet~ into a mall. His behavior was amazing. On point and so was the handler. Respectable on all fronts. Great job.

But you didn’t notice how he didn’t get permission from the frenchies owner about letting the Dane approach his dog? You shouldn’t just let your dog ever walk up to another dog without getting permission first. Doesn’t matter how “friendly” your dog is, you don’t know the other dog and could be putting both dogs at risk which is not cool. You can tell the frenchie was not a fan and neither was the gentleman who quickly walked away.

@@eiupanther2012 Cash does look quite alert considering the amount of noise, different smells, and the large number of people walking around him but at the same time, he actually looks curious since he keeps looking around. Yer right about him relaxing at the very ending, hope he still had a nice adventure walking around the mall lol

That dog was turning more heads than Kim Kardashian at an all boys school....also I love how much joy dogs & babies bring everyone. He got bombarded with compliments & all that wholesomeness brought a smile to my face lol

Where I live it’s often the opposite. I live in a immigrant area where people came from India/africa/Philippines and those guys are the most afraid of big dogs, because they have a lot of experience with legit dangerous packs of big wild dogs. Where they get followed home and need to learn how to fight them off it’s wild. It’s pretty much the opposite of lack of exposure, many have ptsd from too much exposure and see what they’re capable of. (This anecdotal from my ex gfs family, my bros wife’s family, and my neighbours lol)

I’m so jealous when dogs can greet each-other so calmly. My dog is suuuper friendly, but he would spazz out everything he sees another dog because he wants to play.

You have to put in work to socialize dogs properly. Don’t be “jealous” just work with your dog to develop their self-restraint and obedience. Any dog can learn to calmly approach another dog/person, it just takes a bit of consistent training.

The sense of joy and awe other people get when they see a large dog never gets old. It's like the dog brightened their day just by being there. We don't deserve dogs, but I'm glad they're here.

Dogs are functionally incapable of being as horrible as a human. Now, the question of what "deserve" means confounds any discussion. However, in some shallow interpretation, humans certainly don't deserve dogs. Humans deserve each other. We deserve lying cheating manipulating humans. Why do you think dogs deserve companions as untrustworthy as us? When they never fail us if we don't fail them? A dog's failure is a result of it's owner's neglect or ignorance.

It's been my personal experience, however anecdotal, that it's the bigger dogs that are actually more laid back (with Huskies perhaps being the notable exception -- they can be pretty rambunctious), and it's the little buggers that tend to be more nervous and vicious. Cash seems to be a perfect gentleman!

I think they're the same. The issue is since little dogs are more harmless physically, their owners never bother to train them like big dogs. Therefore their bad behaviors go unpunished giving them a bad rep. I got a Chihuahua that I have done a lot of training with and it's so weird to see people surprised she never barks and can do a bunch of tricks

The reason why is probably because no one really messes with big dogs, the reason why small dogs are aggressive a lot of the time is because they're small and easily harmed

@@thestrongprevail3039 they aren't, a lot of that "famous aggressiveness" is due to people making them that way forcing them to be fighting dogs, I've had multiple pitbulls, non of them were ever aggressive to anybody

@@thestrongprevail3039 all dogs are aggressive in the hands of bad owners. Pit bulls just got a bad rep because they can cause more damage. Look at it this way. If 100 Yorkies bite people and 100 pitbulls bite people. They both attacked the same amount of people. But 2-3 of the Yorkie bites will be reported and 90+ of the pitbull bites will be reported cause they size of bite.

Can't blame him for being a little nervous. Imagine entering a den of dogs, wolves, or lions not knowing their temperament. Just to put things in perspective. He handled this pretty well. Good Owner. Good dog. Good video.
