Hey did your husband notice!
I had the same wall in my home. We finally got a lot of mirrors and did a display of them. All shapes and sizes. Looks great!
what a blessing for this husband having a wife that doesn't directly goes shopping at the mall but rips apart a unused fence that is lying around!
Great Clock April. Love the idea and how it turned out.
For my large clock face, I used a spool end. But I've been known to take off fence boards for projects too! Love the look!
Nicely done. I love how your video told the story of how it all came together.
Hey girl! This was one of my first projects! I watch this video a couple times then made my own. I used 1x2 and made it 31 inches. It's looks great! Thank you so much for videos! Cathy
Nice!!! This is the next project for my wife!!! Awesome job! Great build video!
I didn't realise I had my sound turned down. Turned away for a bit and when I came back I had to check the title again. With all those circles I thought you were making a target. Glad I restarted the video cause this was a good one.

; ) haha. Glad you like it.
This looks really awesome. Another great project April.
Hi April. I just subscribed to your channel and noticed that you reply to most of the comments others have made. That takes an extraordinary amount of time and I'm certain it is appreciated by all. I'll be 70 on 31 December and being partially disabled I don't do much woodworking any longer. However, I love watching others videos and admire their work and effort in producing their projects and taking the time to interact with their subscribers! Best regards, Mick Bradford

Yes, I love interacting with subscribers, however there isn't any way I can possibly respond to every single one or I would spend my entire day behind a computer. : ) But I do try and comment back to several when I get a free moment. Cheers Mick!
This is awesome! Our privacy fence just fell down after many years, and we're looking to replace it. Glad to know I can now make something awesome out of it! It may even look nice in our backyard :)
Very cool! love the way you repurpose old wood. Great job!
April, that came out great. Love the scale, it fits the room really nicely. Also - the voice over was a nice addition.

Thanks Linn. : ) When I was doing the voice over I was actually wishing I had your wonderful voice. You are the voice over queen!
Very cool, I really like the rustic look.
Great idea using reclaimed wood. Thanks for sharing
Hello April, I will probably build one for my wife, she loved yours. For the twisted cord, I normally use my hand held drill to twisted it for me, works a treat.
Aaaargh. A) genius re-use project. B) absolute genius with marking out with the paint rather than a pencil - so much clearer to see and no marks to have to clean up and C) I spent 90 minutes last night trashing an old fence panel into teeny tiny pieces to fit in my car and throw away - why didn't I see this outstanding up-cycle project first!! Brilliant.

Threw it away!!?? : ) Oh well....the first time I did this project, I actually took a panel from somebody's curb. Around this time of year, tons of people are getting their fence re-done, so just keep your eyes open.
Es genial su proyecto, se ve muy bien.
Hello April: Time well spent! Good project an interesting arrangement of veto power! Thanks for sharing Larry
If this is your home, there is always a space for his art. Congratulations On
Great job. That clock looks really nice in that space........
great project as always April, keep up the good work
Great clock April! Thanks for sharing. Brett
Looks good, just the right size. That's the nice thing about making stuff yourself, your not dealing with the dictates of others.
Great project! Nicely done and thanks for sharing!!!
nice love the rustic look on it great job
Nice job, April. I recently subscribed to your channel and have been watching some of your videos. Love the clock and the fact that your only expense was the mechanism and maybe the paint. I have made several things from skids (pallets) in the past. Free wood is good wood. Keep up the good work.
As a recent subscriber I'm going catching up on some older videos. The bit with the bailing wire made me think of safety wiring. Gave me a chuckle since the last video I watched you were wearing a Navy shirt.
Really awesome,thanks for sharing April.
Mistakes suck when ur recording! lol! Loved the idea! You did a great job!!!! Thanks for taking time to share April!
Nice clock. Just a little tip if you didn't know already. For twisting the wire I simply use my drill and of course the vise to hold it in place. For straightening for just one wire the drill will work also. It is fun to see how all the twisting and turning will go away.
Wow really nice! Looks Great!
So cool! :) rustic projects are some of the best, in my opinion...even though things may seem easy and you don't have to get them perfect, they still offer new types of challenges for any woodworker
Hello April, I am a Thai, I like your work.
Loving your clock! I have the same problem with a large vaulted ceiling and have been planning the same thing for a couple years now.. It's nice to see somebody actually get things done that they plan!

; ) Well I don't have young kiddos to take up my time, so don't beat yourself up.
That is a really cool idea. Looks awesome to.
Hey there, I recently subscribed and I'm loving your work. Quick "hack" for twisting wire, if you have a long length to twist up or if you want a perfectly even twist, put the loop in your vise and wrap the ends of the wire around a nail, put the nail in a drill and keep tension on the wire while you run the drill at a slow speed. A nail with a large head works best.
Looks impressive April, nice use of old fence palings.. cheers Mick!!!
WOW... great second build video. Looks like you've been doing this for a long time. Great idea and wonderful execution. Congrats...
Nice work. Looks great.
great usage of material. fine job.
Wonderful Job, Looks Great !
I love you April and I love your videos, you are such an inspiration 😉
Great clock! Thanks for keeping the mistakes in the video, that really helps with the learning process for some of us.

Thanks for the feedback. I think it's useful as well, to keep in the mistakes....because if one person can make them, then I'm sure other cans.
April, the clock is really beautiful! Enjoyed the first one you made but love the bigger one. Thanks for the inspiration. I will make one soon!!

haha. John, I'm eventually going to make a project that's going to stump you and your whitty lines. ; )
Seems like a timely project for your second time doing a build video .but seriously nice clock and your doing absolutely fine on the videos keep up the great work April I look forward to every one
I enjoy your videos may steal that idea to make a rustic table....thanks for sharing !
Enjoy your videos. For some of the larger and more complex projects (like your clock) the use of carboard or foamcore mockups can be tremendously helpful tools to work through scale and process before committing finish materials. Keep up the great work!
Great video April.
Love this video! I have plenty over left fence pieces. Maybe I will build giant wall clock like your! Again, thank you for sharing another build process video. You rock :)
Awesome job on your clock
Being visually challenged I really appreciate a clock of this size. Great Job.
Now that is cool! Great project!
Great way to re-purpose an old fence section. A tip on twisting wire. cut wire 2x's the length you need. Fold in half and grab the loose ends in vise. Place the folded end trough a socket or pipe nipple. Place a screwdriver through the loop, pull socket against screwdriver and spin screwdriver till the wire is twisted to desired tightness. Pulling on socket will make the twisting uniform.
Good Work April...I liked the clock. It "might" have inspired me to make one for my shop, which is a 3 car double height garage, I guess I will put it on "the list"
Really Really Nice Work.
I love your work wonderful. Worth seeing. You are talented person ...... continued
Looks great.
Your hubby is drawing circles around you April :-))))) love your videos
Increase the clock size every 6 months or so until the 6 feet is reached...more like a long term practical joke.

I was watching this going...I can do that with pallet wood... but I tend to do that with evey project video. .lol... great job! Please keep them comming... maybe if I may suggest. .. go back and revisit some of your other projects and make a video for them... love your work!
Hi, I only recently discovered your videos and I think they're great, keep em coming 😉, love the little trademark wave at the end of each one too lol

Nice job April. I like the use of the recycled fence!!!
neat job.simple but effective,.!
Cool idea. If you chuck the 'loop' end into a cordless drill and then put both loose ends of the wire in your vice, then slowly turn the drill, it will wrap the wire quickly for you! Might consider a French Cleat as well.
Wow you got all that done by twenty past eleven!!! Great project really stylish. Atb Ryan
Nice clock! Could I suggest for your bailing wire... pull out a length fold it in half and "chuck" it in your cordless drill then that the 2 ends and put them in your vice. pull the wire taunt pull the trigger on your drill...not to fast.. it will twist the wire nicely for you. ;-) your positive attitude makes your videos great! Well done!
That was a great video. Thank you for sharing 😉
You are so ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,amazing
Great Job
April nice design, great decoration object, good job ;)
I have always wanted to get a huge clock like that but my house is small nobody here will let me take up a whole wall for it... But I sill want to. Nice job. Love how you showed your mistakes that's definitely what I do made me giggle. : - D
That is cool. LOL the goof up sounds like something I would do. 42" looks just right.
Cool clock. I think it looks very nice in that space. I need to get me a stencil brush.
@AprilWilkerson

You can pick them up cheap at Hobby Lobby, but if you don't have one, just use a regular brush. The trick with using a stencil is to not overload your paint brush with paint.
Nice project.
Looks good! Glad I subbed. Hoping for many more to fill my you tube woodworker addiction needs!! Lol
