ℹ️ About the Episode:
This is Part 2 of our pedaly cross-country bike adventure from Michigan to Florida. In this episode, we cover disastrous day 3 and breeze through days 4-10. We mention the top state parks we discovered along the way and Trish shares her thoughts about doing "Marc's job" (all the outside stuff) while Caleb pontificates about the experience. We also talk about two things that surprised us during this adventure: logging trucks and country road dogs. This episode has a little bit of everything. Adventure, setbacks, friendship, history, RV information, and laughter. We really enjoy creating "KYD Specials" because it gives us an opportunity to mix things up with different video styles and music. We really appreciate your positive feedback from Part 1 and would love to have you share KYD with friends and family if it makes you smile. It's our greatest pleasure to be a small part of your journey, and we appreciate your support.

I am a log truck driver. Thanks for giving us the recognition we deserve. Most log truckers are super friendly nice down to earth people.
Well Marc, your 30 + hours of editing did not disappoint !!!!! Absolutely amazingly fun 🤩 You have truly mastered the art of a perfect KZread channel !!! Blessings
Born and raised in Louisville, Ky. Our hills south of the city are fierce. My family and I are part-time RVers and stayed at Birdsville over the summer to go to Metropolis. It’s a gorgeous campground.
I have to be honest, when this series started, I was not sure. But, I am thoroughly enjoying this and don’t want to see it end! Like I commented last week, the editing is outstanding!! NOT an easy thing to piece together with such seamless cohesiveness!! I’ve always loved you guys, but you’ve outdone yourselves in this series!! (Btw, received my new “Dream” hat yesterday…thank you!!😊)

Loving this series! Great job of recording & editing. Trish, you sell yourself short on backing up! I hate to see the series end, but know you’ll continue to have great content.
I love how positive Caleb is. You two did a great job raising him and letting him be himself.
Really enjoying this series. Better than anything on TV. Great content, awesome editing. Looking forward to episode 3. I do not know what’s planned for after this but Marc you guys have set the bar quite high! Excellent job Marc, Trish, Caleb, Bill and Wendy. You are very inspiring!
Interesting tidbit about Indianapolis: Outside of Washington DC, Indy has the most war memorials of any other city in the US.
Really enjoying this series! Can't imagine how hard it is to ride and document to tell the story. Great job!
I am loving this series! Caleb is such a delightful young man. Marc and Bill are crushing it. Trish and Wendi are an amazing support team.
Prime example of why this is the best channel on youtube! Always great adventure, videography, humor, family friendly.. & we don't even RV.
Bill is the man, pushing through the pain!!! Hope his ham string is ok!
Really enjoying this miniseries! Never doubted Trish could handle it all, with the help of Wendy of course, but interesting seeing all she is doing compared to when she leaves the guys by themselves. 😂 Wendy is doing great as well. Can’t wait to hear her thoughts on the experience. Pretty impressive riding guys!
you can hang those little flashlights inside the cones and they illuminate really well ... for night time back up etc. at campsites!

Thank you!
Caleb’s inspirational talk was pretty spot on for Capt Kirk sitting in his chair at the end of an episode with McCoy and Spoke standing to his side. 👌
Foscue Creek Park is beautiful. I'm from Milton, FL and used to hunt outside Demopolis. It is on one of our Super Waterways. After USMC, I moved to the Rocket City (Huntsville) and had plans of boating to Mobile by taking the Tennessee River West to the Tombigbee River, then South to the Alabama River which puts us in Mobile Bay. Battle of Mobile Bay is where Admiral David Farragut said "Damn the Torpedos". Love the show. I live out my wanderlust each SUN night with. Charlie. Semper Fi
We stayed next to you in the Foscue Creek Campground in Demopolis, AL. Didn't want to interfere with your festivities, But the two ladies certainly know well how to get the rigs going for the next stop. Thanks for sharing the bike ride with all of us.
I was grinning ear to ear watching this video! What a great time and have a new respect for Logging Truck Drivers!!!
Had nothing but faith in all of you. Great job Trish picking up the slack while the boys are out playing around. Seriously, what great transitions. Whoever editted this, it was well done. Thanks for sharing.
Thought it was going to be boring watching you guys bike around America, but you surprised me, and it was quite entertaining. Good job with the editing! Way to go to overcome your obstacles!
Oh my! Love your videos and inspiration. That clip of mark dragging the stinky slinky never gets old! Good on you Trish for supporting and traveling. Interested in the disregard sticker lol.
Every woman needs a Wendy to her Trish. Your priceless friendship brings tears to my eyes. ❤
In my humble opinion I think this is your best series to date. Thank you.
Merry Christmas everyone! Wishing all of you joy and plenty of happiness…..and hopefully a winter vacation in the RV!

Merry Christmas and Safe Travels
The dogs! Mine wouldn’t stop barking at the TV! 😂
Enjoying the series & thanks for details on some of the parks. Just to clarify, at least 2 that you mentioned are COE parks (not SP) - Piney Grove (MS) & Foscue Creek (AL). Foscue is one of our favorites, especially if you can score one of the 4 spots ON the Tombigbee waterway.
Thanks! - I'm on the edge of my (bicycle) seat for episode three to start! - Cheers!
I’m a solo traveler and camper with 2 dogs. You are right, Trish, there is a lot to do when you have to do inside and outside every day. But it is absolutely worth all the work to be out seeing the USA!
We have gone on some bike rides. We too have done a little “hike-a-bike” carrying our bikes around obstacles along our route. Christine says she knows all too well about going over the handlebars.
Another amazing video! Love it!! Caleb is hilarious. You all seem to be having a lot of fun. Even through the stress of it. Thank you for sharing your adventure! I’m loving it.
Hello Everyone - This is one of your best adventures. I really admire all the work and determination you guys have shown on this trip. I would have been ok with an electric bike, with extra batteries 🤣😂. Anxious for the final video!! Ladies you have knocked it out of the park with the great food and campgrounds you’ve provided. Safe travels and I know lots of laughs ahead!! 😊❤️🇺🇸🤣😂
This cycling series has made me so happy. A friend and I rode the USBR35 from Muncie,Indiana to the Macinaw Bridge. This brings back memories.

Loads of love from Winchester, In!!💕
The dogs made me laugh! Back in the late 70's/early 80's I owned an MG Midget. There was a dog about a mile from our house who used to chase my car from time to time... and I'd slow down, just to let him think he might have a chance... I"m not a good backer-upper with a trailer. I actually did better getting out the walkie-talkies and helping to guide my wife into the spot - at least the times when she could remember right from left.
Awesome guys watching from India on an adventure with work for sure 😂😂😂
I imagine watching a new arrival back their rig in, while we, the panel of judges, all hold up big numbers. No pressure. 🤣
I love Caleb's commentary and demeanor!!! Maybe he should consider acting as well as business. :)
Loving this series so, so much. My favorite is hearing Marc laughing while recording Caleb's very philosophical fireside narration of your troubles. Incredible!
EXCELLENT! This is what I hope for every time I watch an RV video. These last two are some of your best and I’ve been watching since the beginning. Looking forward to the next one!
Such a brilliant episode! You all shine so brightly. I hope you realize what an inspiration you are to the rest of us. Onward
Love this series! KYD always hits it out of the park. I think your channel is one of the best on KZread and I always tell my friends to watch your channel.
Love Calebs commentary! It's the best!
This channel needs more Bill. He’s like cowbell. You think you have enough but what you need is more Bill.

I'll send this to him. We'll be with Bill & Wendi this week. More Bill in the fall for big trip.
Awesome as always. The dog part brought back some great memories of when my best friend and I had small 50cc motorcycles and often encountered dogs that could go as fast as we could.
Hi from Indy! This episode made me LOL! We joke around here that Indiana’s state color is orange. Everything is ALWAYS under construction!
I love seeing all the different aspects of Rving with friends and such. Love yall 3000!
Oh man, I’ve been dealing with a pulled hamstring for months, I feel bill’s pain! Literally, ha. No really though, it’s terrible, takes a long time to heal and really you need to just let it rest. I wish bill speedy healing
What an Epic Journey! Really enjoying this. "What happened? We were in the middle" Caleb at his finest! LOLZ!
These are fun videos... I hear you on doing everything by yourself, I do it all the time. Looking forward to the next episode.
KEEP ON RIDING AGAIN! Caleb I love your commentary on bike trips. It’s a dog world!
I got to say is there anything you guys haven't done.?????...Lol Truly you guys Rock!!!
OK. This is for Caleb. I am not bragging but I was way ahead of you for horn honking!!!! Back in ancient times......55 years ago,..... my friend and I would walk along a road that ran paralell to I-5 in Oregon. We were 12-13???? And yes, the big trucks existed then. We would see how many big trucks we could get to honk for us as we walked. We gave the "sign" and were so over joyed when they would respond!! Truck drivers are to be admired for the job they do and the hours they put in. I'm 72 now and your story made me laugh and remember. Thank you.
We stayed at Mouse Tail Landing. It was there that we found Shiloh Civil War Battlefield. It is a great place to visit if you are interested in Civil War history. We went to several battlefields that summer, but this one was the best.
I’m so glad you shared this trip… watching has been as exciting as what you experienced. Thank you ❤. Epic HORN honking ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉. 😂😂😂 i promise ill be back Friday…. Doggy 😊
Excellent job! Will you have challenges? Yes you will. Oh, can you overcome? Yes, you can! Ride in.
As always... TOTALLY AWESOME! Thanks, too, for my new hat. I ❤ it!! Merry Christmas 🌲 everyone!
These bike episodes are the best ever and we’re older and jealous. We’ve got our bikes and ride a lot, but you guys are the best!! We sure love you soooo much!!
I'm sorry I am so late seeing these videos. they are so excellent entertainment. Way better then anything on tv. I'm really enjoying this series and have been binge watching to catch up on all your videos
Caleb is such a hoot. He knows how to imitate Marc so well. Loving this series.

He was imitating Marc? I thought he was imitating William Shatner, from his cassette tape albums (it may have been on other mediums but I owned the cassette tape version haha) he did, well a long time ago
These videos are just exceptional! Please do more like this- everything about them from the challenge itself, your friendship, the scenery, the editing is just so wholesome and a joy to watch. Thank you 😊
Caleb needs his own show :) Great fun!
What a great adventure with you! Finding this lovely evening with joy and laughter in the ups and downs. Hope Bill recovers(ed) quickly.
Absolutely LOVE this series 🥰🥰 Whats next , mountain climbing, Running?? Hey Rollerblading cross country 😁 You guy's are crushing it 👍🏻👍🏻👏👏
Love this series! The riding looks awesome, and the road crew is outstanding!!! Kudos to Trish and Wendy!
I loved the dogs! Haha! Another great episode.
Well, I am glad Bill was wearing a helmet when he went over the handlebars. As I shared last week, going over the handlebars of a bicycle can be dangerous without a helmet on! I know I mentioned that I had a NDE at 8 going over the handlebars, but not sure if I mentioned my sister repeated my accident at 40 and had the same outcome as I did. Again, no helmet. It was 1972 when I did it, so not having a helmet one was the norm we didn't have them yet. My sister had no excuse! I love Kaleb attitude about things! Forever positive!
1. Doesn't matter if the dog is large or small, they can haul! 2. Trish, backing up is a learned skill that takes practice, practice, practice. I drove a U-haul towing my son's car on a trailer, from NJ to CA. We never once backed up. If there was no way out, I didn't go in. 3. Caleb, whatever office you run for in the future, you have my vote!
I really enjoy this mini series. Soooo good and entertaining! Thank you guys!
I really like this hybrid style of bikepacking and RVing, really interesting way of doing it.
Ladies you are doing a great job keeping up with the guys and RV. Trish I agree 100% that each partner should do other jobs. Guys you are doing awesome. Bill, sorry for your injury have been there and it's not fun. Love the video!!!!!
Awesome content! We have really been enjoying you bike journey! My husband is a cyclist and I am SAG.
On my second year living in a RV in Montana and i have updated and replaced about everything even down to replacing the air conditioner....I have also replaced all bulbs went to LED Also all hood vents and the fans that go in them.....Updated made all them super nice with Maxx Air Fans!!!Also the new air also has heater too...Yeah i guess Rv living isn't that bad...
Indianapolis is gorgeous!! I lived there for 13 years I. A town about 45 min away called Greensburg. It is such a beautiful and well kept city. The mall downtown is gorgeous as well. Monument circle is amazing as well.
Great video and well done on taking us all on your adventure.
‘There’s something noble about suffering!!’ Bill is incredible-y unlucky!! No seriously - glad you got through it!! This series is probably the most enjoyable I’ve ever seen! And not just of KYD but of a whole host of You-Tubers RV Lifers!! Thanks!! Really enjoying it!!
The campgrounds were really nice. I loved the biker fans.
Bill…you ARE the GOAT!!!❤ It’s hard enough to do that trip, but hurt? Ugh…no! Well done, all of you!
You guys! This is the coolest thing ever! Love your channel!
Hats off to the Girls! Taking on an Epic Journey of their own!
So much fun! Can't wait to see next weeks.
Awesome mini-series. Caleb is awesome!
YES. Trish, though I know I *could* do the “outside” stuff I don’t have to, and for that I am so thankful! We each know our roles, and though it may be “dated” and cliche it WORKS!
This is great! I’m so enjoying this series!
You guys are the best. Entertaining and making us feel we are all part of your journey. Have a blessed Christmas!
Excellent job! Love Love these last two episodes.
Love watching your adventures!! The SAG team rocked it!!!
I’m really enjoying this series!!!! I am a single mom who has a pop up camper. I’m responsible for inside AND outside setup. It’s a big job….but SO WORTH IT!!
These episodes are SOLID gold. Laughed the entire time. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Loved this one! Great job everyone
I love to ride 🚴🚴🏻♂️,so this series from my personal opinion is phenomenal , I enjoy all of it , and the river state parks are stunning . great team work with the ladies they phenomenal cooking delicious dishes., I can’t wait next week . Blessings for all you 🙏
As if it wasn’t cool enough seeing you show Indianapolis. You stayed at 450 north which is literally 2 miles straight north from my house 😂 such a cool experience for you guys and big props to the ladies for supporting them!
Instead of "Sisters of the Traveling Pants" perhaps we could say "Brothers of the Wobbly Tire" ? Hope you all stay safe and no more crashes.
Excellent episode! Can't wait for installment #3!
This is so much fun! Thanks for sharing w us!
This was great fun!! I look forward to next week!
The stories a trip like this creates are great!
Laugh every time I see the historical clip of Marc pulling the sewer hose. It’s like the Beatles picture without the Beatles and the hose. 😂
Loved it. Definitely the best series you guys have done!
I always enjoy the family time that you share with us. Thank you and happy holidays to all.
This is the best series yet! You guys are amazing.
Good job everyone!!
