I use the AK2000 for nearly a year now. Works perfectly with the S1 + BMPCC6K (+ riser plate). Much cheaper/lighter and does the same job as the AK4500.

Have you had any joy using the camera controls on the gimbal using the USB cables? Really struggling to get this to talk to my GH5....

Actually no, believe it or not I've done very little gimbal work lately and when I do, I use the cine lens I have which has no electronic focus anyway.

Hugh is the focus attachment worth buying in your opinion - I was going to give it a miss.

The motor is light and strong but the control wheel seems to be slightly 'less sensitive' than the main wheel on the device itself. I think it's worth it though, especially if you get a deal and the extra handle is great for ergonomics and going from low shots to head height shots. I need to do more tests soon, which are on the way!

Don't know where these price quotes are from $700? I just paid 14,900 Thai baht for one (375 GBP, you do the maths) as of 24/07/2020, it is NEW! Mind you I am in Thailand don't what I would have paid in 'rip off' Britain as we call it.

Hi! Great video! Did you use the auto focus or manuel focus while shooting the footage in the gym?

Thanks! are you referring to the shot where I close in on the guy doing tricep presses behind his neck? If so, yes, I used manual focus using the main knob on the main handle.

@@OK_doitnow it was the S1 Camera. You could do that shot with the EosR in autofocus but I wouldn't trust the focus on the S1.
