I own the AK4500 and love setting it up with the handles. They’re light and perfectly distanced for comfort. I’ve used many other stabilizers on the market, and this by far has been the most comfortable to shoot with

Great video! I'm very interested in this gimbal's feature set, but I see a lot of other reviewer's footage out there with micro jitters and shaky movement. Your footage is the best I've seen so far. Has Feiyu changed the acceleration speed yet for starting slow movements?

Just bought this gimbal, I find it is best not the use the joystick or wheel, just use the lock button and tilt move the camera position then release the button. Then to correct do the same. It is easier to keep it slow. I am not sure if it can do the whip thing but every time i do this it just gets all tangled up. Have you worked out a way to do this Dan? Cheers

Hi Dan... Any updates on the firmware side? In 2020 this still looks like one of the best gimbals on the market.

It's still a great gimbal but I do think the acceleration is still tuned a bit high if you are doing super slow moves...even with the speed slowed down. There hasn't been an update that really addresses that much

I haven't done any gimbal work, but as someone who doesn't have a great back. every time I see a gimbal video I think to myself, why don't they have a belt that you can wear, and the bottom of the handle sits into something on the belt. so all the weight is on the belt instead of your back, and all you have to do is control the gimbal. it seems like it would be so easy to make and supply with the gimbal. if I ever bought one of these I would figure out how to make the belt myself

Question .. I purchased this gimbal and when assembled it has “play” when I movie it right to left , it feels loose could this be because I got a bad unit ?

  • @learningcameras

It definitely shouldn't have play when powered on so either something wasn't tightened properly or there is something wrong with the unit

Try both the micro USB and the USB C though I believe it's the micro USB. Also I think Sony has an item in the menu that you need to enable for remote shutter control. Sorry I can't remember exactly what that was

Hello there I want to buy this gambals but before I do I would like to know do you have any list of cameras with fit with this Gambals I appreciate it thank you

No because it really also depends on the lens setup as that can alter the center of gravity. I will say that just because the gimbal can hold the weight of the camera doesn't mean it can support off center loads such as a front heavy lens. Larger gimbals like this Ak4500 though can pretty much support any setup

It's a great gimbal for what I see! I want the ak2000, for a 6DII and 24-105mm and other L lenses go well I think! Hope you can try it some day. Thanks for the review!

How do you think this stacks up against the MOZA aircross 2?

  • @learningcameras

I have both right now and the hardware on the AK4500 is definitely better with more features. That said I do feel like I can dial in the slow settings better on the Air 2. Both handle payloads very well

I look forward to your review of their new gimbal, Ive seen your Air, Air 2, and Aircross reviews...but the new Aircross 2 is what really interest me as a competitor with Ronin SC.

I have it in the mail right now! From what I have seen, it will probably be my new choice for smaller loads. I honestly haven't been that impressed with the Ronin-SC
