    Why didn't the solution in the end turn red if it contained inverted reducing sugar?

    Hi, its beginning to turn red if u observe the top layer closely. I didnt show the full clip of the soln turning red because its taken for granted that the result will be the exact same as in the clip shown before that. Hope that clarified your doubt. Rest assured, it showed a positive reaction.
