Meditation has no technique. It is PURE WATCHFULNESS. It is NOT about concentration. Matra. Deity. And a thousand other complicated stuffs. It is simply being. Just being. It is just sitting. It is Zen. If thoughts come. Let them come. If they go, let them go. The real thing is awareness. Not absence or presence of thoughts. Awareness is Zen. Awareness is meditation. Concentration is sick and not suitable for this day and age. Zen is more applicable than yogic concentration techniques as taught in the Tibetan traditions.

Its your thought your choice..... but you can't do the comparison between this two. Vajrayana Buddhism is way too profound, with the great teachings of ancient wisdom. The wise practioner knows which one is pure 💎. You must do the study first, shouldn't judge with your pure ignorance.
