If I don't have the energy to cut an onion, I sure af do Not have the energy to mince garlic..or all the rest. This is not simple quick. No energy means NO energy, as in cannot stand up let along use knives and hot oil. I have Multiple Sclerosis and actually thought I found a simple recipe. This is so much more than "cutting an onion" 😢

Idk garlic minced from the store tastes awful. I'd just take some actual garlic and throw it in a mortar and smash it up, you can throw all the other shit in it too to avoid extra dishes A stone mortar will save u so much time and energy. I really gotta get around to getting one for myself 😂

Just made this and since I was only using half of the packet of pasta, I made a few adjustments. Like using 1 tbsp of dark soy sauce, using 1 tbsp of peanut butter, and instead of adding salt to the bowl, I added some to my pasta instead. I added some pasta water to the bowl too and god damn was it good. 10/10 loved it.

You don’t need to PEEL the garlic, you just press it with a bit knife and they will be self peeled 😅 then you put them into a presser and there you go

@p00f_13 Well I'd send you a picture of mine, but I don't think it'll let me. It's a handheld kitchen tool. You open it, stick your peeled garlic in the end, and then squeeze the handles together. The garlic is pressed out in tiny pieces.

I just want to note that black and rice vinegar are VERY different in flavour. If you want a more authentic Chinese Sichuan taste, use black vinegar. Rice vinegar is sweeter and will get you a different flavour.

@@SR-cz5yy You can blend garlic at home too to make garlic paste. Or pass it a few times in a food processor to make a roughly minced garlic. It's just that you have to clean those things out immediately and very well to avoid the garlic smell sticking around. But you can make months worth of prepped garlic in one go

Edit: this is what I found online, "To reduce this risk of botulism, the garlic in oil mixture should be refrigerated and used within two to three days. Garlic-in-oil should always be discarded after two hours at room temperature, even if salt and acids are present. Commercially prepared oils have added acids and other chemicals to eliminate the risk of botulism, but still must be handled carefully and correctly."

I made this and it was delicious. I used half the recipe because I was only using half the amount of Ramen noodles. I don’t have the patience to mince garlic, so I just grated it. And I served it up with two crispy fried eggs, lots of green onions, and toasted sesame seeds for sprinkle. T’was a fantastic meal.

Avoid adding so much oil instead add A teaspoon or so of normal temp oil all the sauces seasoning green onion and microwave it for 5sec stir add your noodles and if youd like microwave it for more 5 sec they turn out amazing ❤

I’ve always made homemade peanut noodles like with a homemade peanut sauce. It’s actually really easy and you can use spaghetti or really whatever noodle you want. I’m not a big pasta eater though but it’s definitely an inexpensive easy meal that is tasty and different so I do recommend it.

If I don't have the energy to cut an onion, I sure af do Not have the energy to mince garlic..or all the rest. This is not simple quick. No energy means NO energy, as in cannot stand up let along use knives and hot oil. I have Multiple Sclerosis and actually thought I found a simple recipe. This is so much more than "cutting an onion" 😢
The algorithm hit me with this at just the right time. I was exhausted and made this for dinner, it's delicious

Idk garlic minced from the store tastes awful. I'd just take some actual garlic and throw it in a mortar and smash it up, you can throw all the other shit in it too to avoid extra dishes A stone mortar will save u so much time and energy. I really gotta get around to getting one for myself 😂

Just made this and since I was only using half of the packet of pasta, I made a few adjustments. Like using 1 tbsp of dark soy sauce, using 1 tbsp of peanut butter, and instead of adding salt to the bowl, I added some to my pasta instead. I added some pasta water to the bowl too and god damn was it good. 10/10 loved it.

@@ded.x_x The... crunchy one? Sorry, I have absolutely no clue what sweetened peanut butter is. If you're asking whether there is sugar in it... well, yes, there is.
You don’t need to PEEL the garlic, you just press it with a bit knife and they will be self peeled 😅 then you put them into a presser and there you go

@p00f_13 Well I'd send you a picture of mine, but I don't think it'll let me. It's a handheld kitchen tool. You open it, stick your peeled garlic in the end, and then squeeze the handles together. The garlic is pressed out in tiny pieces.

It’s actually called Mafaldine pasta; they also have it at world market
I just want to note that black and rice vinegar are VERY different in flavour. If you want a more authentic Chinese Sichuan taste, use black vinegar. Rice vinegar is sweeter and will get you a different flavour.

i would use fish sauce instead of soy sauce, to give it a thai slant; meat and veggies as well...
Ingredient 1-4 tsp red chili flakes (based on spice tolerance & heat of the flakes) 1-2 cloves of garlic, very finely minced or grated 2 tbsp oil 2 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp black vinegar, or rice vinegar 2 tbsp peanut butter Pinch of salt, to taste 4 oz of Noodles (or Spaghetti) Thank you and God bless you! Tip for the garlic, you can buy tubes of garlic paste for fairly cheap and it tastes the same.
And if you don’t have the energy to mince garlic, buy a jar of minced garlic at your local Aldi. Fresh is always best but I use the jarred garlic in nearly every meal I cook. Tastes great and low effort.

Or when you have a little extra time mince some garlic with a little oil and store in the refrigerator ready to use when needed. Tastes better than shop bought and cheaper 😊

@@SR-cz5yy You can blend garlic at home too to make garlic paste. Or pass it a few times in a food processor to make a roughly minced garlic. It's just that you have to clean those things out immediately and very well to avoid the garlic smell sticking around. But you can make months worth of prepped garlic in one go

Edit: this is what I found online, "To reduce this risk of botulism, the garlic in oil mixture should be refrigerated and used within two to three days. Garlic-in-oil should always be discarded after two hours at room temperature, even if salt and acids are present. Commercially prepared oils have added acids and other chemicals to eliminate the risk of botulism, but still must be handled carefully and correctly."
I made this and it was delicious. I used half the recipe because I was only using half the amount of Ramen noodles. I don’t have the patience to mince garlic, so I just grated it. And I served it up with two crispy fried eggs, lots of green onions, and toasted sesame seeds for sprinkle. T’was a fantastic meal.

Oh this is a traditional Szechuan dish! I’ve seen variations of it eaten with cucumber shreds and coriander too 😊
Avoid adding so much oil instead add A teaspoon or so of normal temp oil all the sauces seasoning green onion and microwave it for 5sec stir add your noodles and if youd like microwave it for more 5 sec they turn out amazing ❤

Smash the clove with the flat side of a knife and the skin should peel off really easily You can also buy preminced garlic or freeze it in bulk

I’ve always made homemade peanut noodles like with a homemade peanut sauce. It’s actually really easy and you can use spaghetti or really whatever noodle you want. I’m not a big pasta eater though but it’s definitely an inexpensive easy meal that is tasty and different so I do recommend it.

You can add lesser chilly. I also like to add a little honey or brown sugar to give some sweetness to it.
