Fed up with telemarketers? Here's how to remove yourself from that list
Many of us are regularly bombarded by calls from telemarketers, trying to convince us to buy the product or service they're trying to sell.
The majority of those phone calls often end with you saying, "no thank you, I'm not interested."
So if you could get your contact number removed from that list, would you?
Well there is a way of doing just that.

it's not a job it's a pestilence
I have dozens of blocked numbers on my phone. They just use different numbers and call again!
There needs to be a push to opt in. And it needs to be in writing or via an electronic form. Sneaking in a yes when someone taking out a contract over the phone is wrong.
Why should we receive these calls at all. It's an invasion of privacy and a waste of time.

Why the hell do you answer these calls???Not talking about land lines.. On your mobile...they come through as PRIVATE...don't answer it...Domkop...they can leave a msg if its about something urgent...if they dont leave a msg..simply block the number....

They do not come through as private calls. They are mostly 087 numbers but a few firms now use 082 and 076 numbers as well. 087 numbers can't just be ignored, they are used by our hospital and investment firm as well as other valid callers. Anyway you block one spam number, they use another each time.
They should be banned.
How about the following: Good day My name is “so & so” and I am speaking from “whatever company “

How about put they phone down??? If its your mobile..and it come through as PRIVATE...don't answer it...if they dont leave a msg...block the number...simple as that.
I get annoyed when I get calls from services I never signed up for OR those companies you have already spoken to, and made it clear I am not interested. Why wud u call me again if I explicitly indicated I'm not interested 😡
Can one pursue legal action against a company that contacts you again after you've asked to be put on the Do Not Call list?
I opt to be added to the DNC list and take the agent and company name. Those companies have stopped calling me.
