Dude, I'm only 4:40s into and in your comment you go through the whole legality of the officer telling the sister to leave, but never mention that the officer hasn't yet told the actual person he wants to leave to do so. He has told the person he pulled over, and insisted that her sister must leave, but he hasn't actually informed that person of his wishes. Then, I go scan the cases you reference and find that they aren't exactly applicable to this case. From what I can tell they seem to involve a person actually being in or in very close proximity to the scene or stop. You also conveniently redacted whole paragraphs that specifically exclude an officer moving a person along just because they are filming. It is like you are almost trying to only tell the facts that support a narrative.

I'm curious about the initial contact, the deputy ran her license plate and pulled her over for expired insurance in which she actually had paid although it was a clerical error on the behalf of the county. Anyways is this an infringement on the 4th? I mean randomly running people's information and all. It seems to me like an easy way for a predator police officer to obtain someone's address where they could possibly do various acts on someone at a later date and or time, for example a pretty girl could be prayed upon

@@N0HANDLE101 Oh, they already get a free pass for stalking. And thanks to the Supreme corrupt court, they can strip search anyone with only flimsy reasoning. Can't remember the case name, but the facts around it was when a man with a warrent was picked up at a routine traffic stop. The guy had a bunch of coke on him that they failed to find at his arrest or at booking. He made it into jail with it So thesupreme corrupt justice used that as am excuse to allow police to violat our rights and subject the entire population to strip searches by any pervert cop. He felt sacrificing our rights was worth it if it might cut down on some prisoners having a good time. The judge should have been removed of his robe, gavel, and from position.. A cop once asked my wife to take off her shoes during a traffic stop because he "thought" she was hiding something in them. Anyone can pull the trigger... that's the reason. This being USA, nearly everyone owns a gun. Since that vehicle had tinted windows, it made the situation worse. Given my experience, I've had just as many women arrested as men, they're no different when it comes to crime rates. Though I do think it's dumb that she couldn't just be allowed to move forward a bit further giving them more space instead of being forced to drive off completely. In Canada, cops don't fuss over things like this at all (as far as I know anyway) since guns are far more rare.

@@msdarby515 The thing is, everyone can tell that story and they got no immediate way of checking, if that story adds up. The sister could've also been some crazed lunatic pulling a gun and shooting the cop. So in principle I can understand the whole "I want her gone for my safety"-argument, the cop doesn't know the sister. And if the stopped sister replies "I want her to stay for my safety", imho the only logical way out is that a 2nd cop comes and at the very least supervises the sister and in friendly terms explains the situation. That's why imho Officer Crawford, the 2nd cop in the vid, was acting unprofessional, he didn't explain it cordially. And yeah, he was in his right to detain the sister, but imho he wouldn't have needed to do it, a "Ok, then I'll stay here and supervise you while my fellow Officer does his job" would've been enough to make sure, that his fellow officer is safe.

That's a low effort and weak attempt at making an "oh snap". Honestly. They want her to leave, for their safety, in case she suddenly decides to go postal. That's a legitimate concern, because many people are crazy. If she leaves, the safety concern is solved. And if they detain her, handcuff her, then the problem is ALSO solved. So it's not really about "hehe, she played a Uno reverse card", becase her LEAVING was not the ultimate goal. Her not being a potential THREAT was the ultimate goal. You don't need to play 4D, or even 3D or conventional chess to analyse these situations, but at least make sure you're not playing tic tac toe in a bad attempt to make a funny oneliner. You everyone liking your comment should really make an effort to reflect at least a little deeper.

He was getting heated and sometimes calm waters thrown in does help~after all that’s what we want! We don’t want to be egoic to the cops either! I know they do wrong but… let’s face it… they’re probably facing people with ego issues all day as well… and if they let that poison them and quite often the cop culture itself will poison them, well they have weapons and loads of ways to harm people. It’s a dangerous thing. Sometimes I think male majority groups turn toxic? It would be better to have a 50/50 force maybe. Something has to change. All of us need to become more loving because this world is in trouble

I'm sure it gets annoying in a town near post having a bunch of drunk idiots flying down residential roads in their challengers and Camaros and then trying to slide their CACs to get out of trouble, or NCOs and Officers thinking their rank has any sway over the police. Or you might have a cop that wishes they had the balls to enlist but didn't and they're taking out their jealousy during the encounter. Vets also tend to be considered "far right extremists" in more liberal areas. I've found that cops are more and more respectful of vets the further you get from cities and military posts.

It doesn't surprise me. Many police like being police because of unnecessary and foolishly perceived superiority and alpha-ness they believe being a Police Officer, with their uniform, badge and enforcement tools, gives them. It's a reason why many Police Officers are unfortunately absolute jerks with superiority complexes. When they meet a veteran, someone who also had a uniform and badge from a job with greater perceived alpha-ness and well known to hold much more value and respect in the eyes of the public than police officers do. The police officer's fragile perception of their believed superiority and alpha-ness suddenly feels challenged. It triggers insecurity, jealousy and resentment. That fully brings out the jerk in them, leading them to act disrespectful.

Ok I agree the unprofessional behavior, I can see where both parties got frustrated, and I can also see the sisters side of wanting to wait for her sister. I'm not picking sides. I think errors were made all over the place with just attitudes and demeanor. Attitudes change everything. Imagine being an officer, pulling a car over, and then another vehicle stops shortly ahead... In Florida... Where drug trafficking on the highways is INSANELY high and probable. You dont know the people, you dont know their character/honorability, and you want to make it home to your family. When you tell the other vehicle to leave, they refuse. Your nerves get worse and senses heighten. Your mind races with the millions of What-If's and you are still in the real world with the situation currently playing out... Crimes against police is rising, trafficking is rising, you are outnumbered, and Women can be criminals too. Again, i don't agree with how they handled it. I can see their side.

It's not like anyone's telling them "No, you can't just make up the law as you go along." Instead, they are given wide leniency with "misunderstanding" the law, and usually let off without so much as a slap on the wrist. They have *killed* people for less than what this video shows and walk away free men. @@RogerThat902 I get that, and I agree. However, in a court case this still would not amount to much. They would look over this pretty quickly; as his stop and demands were still technically within his rights as an officer, even if the reasons he have were not accurate. Instead, this would probably violate some sort of department policy, but that would not be decided in court.

She's literally 100ft away, didn't get out of the car, is in front of the stop not behind it, he has no reason whatsoever to even speak to her, it's not obstruction in any way

A few years ago, my wife and I were driving home in separate cars at night, I was about a quarter mile behind her on a no-passing/double yellow line stretch of road that went for several miles. A car that had been tail-gating me passed me on the double-yellow and started tailgating my wife. About a mile later, it turned out that car was an unmarked LEO, they turned on their lights and pulled my wife over. I went past and pulled over a few hundred feet beyond the traffic stop. I saw the officer briefly question my wife, then went back to his car; my wife left and I followed her home. I asked her what happened, the officer asked her who I was, she said “my husband” and the officer said “you’re free to go”. Never asked her for ID, never stated what she was pulled over for. I wonder what would have happened if I hadn’t been there. DO NOT let them make you leave the scene!

... I can't believe you told this story and think it makes the cops look bad. An officer saw a man following a woman home at night and (without harassing her for identification, giving her a ticket, or harassing her in any way) made sure she was safe and wasn't being followed.

@@brandonetter why would you assume a car on single lane road with a double solid line is following anyone? Where else would he drive? Off road? 😂 And it would make more sense to pull over the car you believe is stalking someone. They'd ask him where he's going and such. ETA: That cop sounded sketchy and she's lucky her husband was there.

@@AlcideIzMine "it would make more sense to pull over the car you think is following someone" yeah ok. Maybe think about that one more bud. But yeah dude- the cop was obviously up to something nefarious the way he did literally nothing wrong and checked on someone's well being 👍 KZread is full of some interesting people for sure.

@@brandonetter generally you'd pull over and question the person you have probable cause for. It also creates a point of contact, so the cop has (1) seen what this person looks like & has it recorded and (2) he can collect any identifying info on him. Why pull over someone you think is being followed? What if she didn't know she was even being followed & didn't know the guy? What valuable info would a clueless person give? So the guy drives off and now the cop has no information and the dude is free to stalk someone else 😂. Wow. Great work there 🙄🙄 It makes more sense to pull over someone you're suspicious of. Why would you let someone you think is committing a crime just drive off? That makes absolutely no sense. Tldr Pull over the suspected criminal. Don't let the criminal just drive off.
