Can only improve from here! I looked back on Chelsea's first run with RTR (in 2017) at Long Beach and he spun in the same spot in top 32 on his chase.

Honestly him and Vaughn are probably the biggest things to come from Adam joining RTR. When he ran his own team they were mechanically and technically fantastic, can't fault anything they did but he was lacking other drivers to really coach and mentor him. He was basically having to wing it, figuring out the lines, weak points in his driving and where to focus by himself and that's super hard. I reckon with the experience those two have, especially with how good they are at coaching, he'll see some massive improvement that couldn't have happened otherwise - however I feel about the front fitment on the RTR cars ;)

You’re comparing two different circumstances and entirely different errors, Chelsea was pushing the limit to find how hard he can push, (since he had the win already), Adam on the other hand is different, I get being a fan, but at the same time you have to be real. That’s the only way improvements are made

Man I remember watching Adam teach me how to bunny hop bar spin when I was 11 or 12. I’m 20 now and my entire childhood was shaped around Adam’s growth. Slowly leaned more into the car scene as a teen, as he slowly focused on car content. This channels come a long way and I’m beyond stoked to see what’s next.

Can’t say I agree….. curious how not making top 16 is better than coming 21st with 329 points? In 2021 He beat Meyer, charpentier, Kyle mohan, masuyama, Castro, Ken gushi, beecham, sceriffo, Reynolds & Ryan litteral plus a few others

Considering he’s hit the wall twice in two separate practices and straightened out in first run I wouldn’t say he’s looking better then previous years. I’m all for him but I wouldn’t go to that extent.

He is in a completely different car a completely different set up then the s15 with not as much seat time as he has with the s15 so of course it’s going to be a little rough the first few rounds needs more seat time but will get it. Personally I think he is doing fine with the little amount of seat time he has had to dial in the car and get use to the adjustment of driving a different car.

Idk if I’m just stoned, but this car just looks like it’s a whole nother level from last year. Very excited for this season!

Dude you in the mustang is just something different. I feel like now your not really having to worry about the car too much and your just able to focus on your skill. I’m super excited for this season for you.

Yea i agree, focusing on his skill and ability is exactly what he needs to do, because these Mustangs are no joke, Vaughn and Chelsea both have shown what it's capable of, so any mistakes and or issue while driving is usually caused by the driver at this point, Adam himself admitted that he has a bad habit that isn't working with this car because it has so much more power than his previous cars. This car is all about balance, it has all the power you need, handling and overall control, Adam simply needs to just learn how to control it. Once he gets it down he won't have much of an issue at all. He can start to really learn how to throw this car around like Chelsea does with insane huge angles and use that benefit of forward bite to save those huge angles and get massive style points for it.

Keep your head up Adam, people don't realise that it's just your 3rd year in FD and your first year in a new chassis. People have such a high expectation for you to perform even knowing that which is weird. But a podium is coming sooner or later for sure!
