Yes , I agree humans have the capability for introspection, but what if this leads to the assessment that one does not believe in Allah , or the Quran ,meaning that it is a manmade scripture and that God is an imaginairy being, is this sincere conclusion worthy of eternal punishment ?

Introspection isnt a thought process, introspection actually by passes the intellect. Introspection is the resonance of guidance in each human which stems from the heart when one's mind is silent. In the sound of silence is the voice of God..that is introspection. What you had described about a person's insight leading him away from God is not introspection, that is intellectualization. Intellectualization is a double edged sword. It functions well for well being of mankind in the material sense of science and technology but in the field of spirituality, intellectualization has no place...in fact its detrimental to spiritual growth and surrender. The waves of agitation of the mind has to be absent, one has to be Ummi which means "Unlettered" as in having a mind sans agitation and not function from force fed data of the past. Only then the resonance of the truth can be experienced and we are guided by that resonance hence the saying goes Allah Guides whom He wills.

@@renu16 You write great, I am amazed, but I see it in a different way, You say God is in the sound of silence, but I also hear poeple say they can hear God in the wind blowing in the trees, and we all know our sences including our introspection can decieve us.

@@ultrasignificantfootnote3378 thank you..introspection as I had mentioned by passes the intellect. So the influence of senses are absent. Once a person is able to align himself with the resonance within, then he would be able to realize that "To God belong the East and the West; wherever you turn is the face of God" ( 2:115 Quran) At that state of realization, answers come from all directions be it in the blowing of the wind, or waters from the sky " And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky" (15:22 Quran). Does one need to worry about senses deceiving us once we are able to experience guidance? Well, yes..as humans our ego can hijack our mind anytime..but our ego cant hijack our heart..if we learn to surrender our heart to God,He guides us in our journey of life .." He is the One Who enables you to travel through land and sea" (10: 22 Quran). So honestly we should try to align our hearts with God then "even though I walk through the valley of darkness, I fear no evil for You are with me"( Psalm of David) Only in surrender can the Will of God guide us. In the Quran it says " God will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves (13:11 Quran.) Surrender is the change we all need to make..then "Having surrendered unto Me ..worry not for I will deliver you from your sins"- Bhagavad Gita

@@renu16 Do you think Prophet Mohammed used his sences when he was meditating in the cave, I think he must have because how else could he see and hear the Angel ?

@@ultrasignificantfootnote3378 Prophet( pbuh) was practicing meditation and then he heard the sound of a bell ringing. This is seen when the Anahata Chakra is opened. In Yoga philosophy the Anahata Chakra when opened, one hears sounds and most common is ringing of bells and this is when one is capable of receiving revelations. We humans actually do not "see" with our eyes but rather its light that goes through the eyes and the visual cortex interprets the image. Same with the ears..external sounds are transmitted through the ears and the auditory cortex interprets the sound. Senses relay impulses from external sources to the brain. In cases of spiritual awakening..our mind functions very much like " Google Translate" that is revelations come as a resonance and this resonance is " translated" as words in our mind..then when these words are said and written down it becomes sacred scriptures. It never was from an external source. But one hears it not through the ears but hears the resonance being translated to words in our brain. The process I explained is for a human being who is able to hear and not hearing impaired since birth. For one who is hearing impaired since birth the resonance is experienced as visions or as sign language if one knows sign language. Its interesting that revelations do not go through the senses but eventually we use our senses to convey it to others. Here the awakened one is a conduit and everything he relays is not his but from the Divine. Yoga philosophy explains all these in depth. Just to add, in the awakened states, veils that block our perception are removed one by one. One then gets access to other realms hence visions of angelic beings.
