As it is well known, this is the shortest Surah (chapter) in Quran, but by being an independent surah, points to its impotence! Well done Prof. Joseph by interpreting "Al-Kawther" by "abundance"= A lot of good things; Prophet-hood, Al-Quran, .. Fame, .. probably a daughter like Fatimah, ... Paradise (including probably a river called Kawther) .. etc. God bless you and all the commentators that you have mentioned them in your talk. ... And well done by generalizing it to every one of us: Concentrate on the good things and abandon the criticizers! ..(جزاك الله خيرا)..

it would be great to put in written form to the screen the chapters (english translation of suras and numbers of verses ayats) and subtitles to be seen on screen so as well listening dr Lumbardh( alb.white river) we can read....so no word goes...away...now not only to ear goes the message but put to an eye as well...thanks. p.s. is prophet mentioned by dr.Joseph, Muhammad peace be upon his name.

Sir how early is Wahidi's asbabul nuzul? and is there an arabic edition that rates the narrations or it's originally rated by the author?

al-Wāḥidī's Asbāb al-Nuzūl is relatively early. He died in 468/1076. The Asbāb in the collection are not all Ṣāḥīḥ and this is well known. He did not rate the authenticity in the collection. We do not have asbāb for most verses of the Quran.
