People who began with Zero really underestimate the Stsy Night Masters because they are “kids”. Even the servants are on the higher tier, with even the weakest (the false Assassin) being capable of frigging imitating a Noble Phantasm with just pure skill.

@@user-cd5fm3hh9k So it is claimed, but Zero did not have Masters capable of using Reality Marbles (which Shirou has to actively keep hidden or else he would get a Sealing Designation), let alone insane assassins enpowered by a witch from the Age of Gods. Or, you know, a Master being possessed by the Incarnation of all Evils of the World (which is confirmed to be a candidate for one of the Beasts seats).

A girl who somehow pulled out a EX class card with "divine" powers, because the plot Can you feel that? How the threat servants represented descends into the toilet by the author? The parts I liked about your analysis: Shirou vs Kiritsugu: Fate Shirou loses makes sense, HF stomps makes sense, UBW also wins, I was glad at how you covered that Shirou meant he couldn't match servants in CQC but could still sword spam them Bazette vs Kayneth: Great of you to acknowledge that she is not as OP as some people assume she is, yet still winning easily due to Fragarch Rin vs Tokiomi: Easy win for Rin, lol Sakura vs Waver: I'd say we lack information here, Sakura has never been shown to be able to control her magecraft and Waver has never been shown to use his offensively, these could both be because Sakura just never had a reason to use it (and didn't want to kill Shinji) and because Waver knew his magecraft would never work against a Servant so his mana would be better suited to being supplied to Iskander, however, with the information available, it does make sense that Sakura (or maybe even Shinji) would win Kuzuki vs Ryunoske: Lol, random guy with knife vs trained assassin Zouken vs Kirei: Kirei's equipped with the whole bug spray beam Ilya vs Kariya: Familiar birds eat up/shoot up all the bugs Overall great analysis, enjoyed watching it!

Thanks man, glad you liked the vid! Sakura is implied to be able to use her abilities if need be (under stress ect.), the absorption in particular is stated to be combat applicable & Hollow Ataraxia suggest that at least post-HF Sakura would be fully able to fight with her magecraft. I’d still wager that Waver actually can’t use any offensive magic at all due to being theoretical type. Even as El-Melloi the Second he’s really not a combatant, but yeah, just using the info available he gets washed.

I would argue that the ubw shirou generally loses without rins mana. He would be pretty much the same as normal fate route shirou. I'll just say miyuverse shirou > ubw shirou.

@@royce536 ubw Shirou without rins mana vs fate shirou, ubw shirou has all of Archers arsenal as well as some of his battle experience whereas fate shirou has neither, it's that that makes the difference

Minor note on Shirou vs Kiritsugu. We have no clue how origin rounds would affect Shirou. Mana isn't automatically circulating through a projection when it materializes, so it may not even be a one shot against Fate route Shirou.

It wouldn't affect shirou if he already projected his sword however it would pretty much work if Kerry shoots him while he's projecting his weapon so all Kerry gonna do is use time alter and shoots shirou as he's projecting his weapon

"Mana isn't automatically circulating through a projection when it materializes, so it may not even be a one shot against Fate route Shirou." - Even if it works like that, it still might effect him, because that’s how it works against Kayneth & Kirei, it just needed to hit stuff formed by their circuits (Kirei at least is not actively feeding mana into his keys, Kayneth might be) for the bullet to feed-back to them. It will work on Shirou at least if his mid projection.

Tbh. Old zouken is kinda trash when it comes to fighting others. Prime zouken ,however, could be considered one of if not the strongest magus who participated in the Holy grail wars. The guy was considered a monster when it came to fighting and could go toe to toe with some servants

Old Zouken was fighting Archer and rin before shirou and saber showed up and he seemed confident vs 1 servant and a master, but yeah he has like, zero feats outside of that. Prime Zouken is a monster, but he was in his prime before the HGW’s were a thing. The one we see in the flashbacks of HF is a bit after his prime.

Dark Sakura and Rin (gem sword) solo the 4th HGW masters tbh. Good list, though, i do think Rins fathers best jewell is worth a little mention, since rin does say its better than her other gems. He doesnt really have the feats and stuff to match her still even.

@@mohamedelhediissa289 More like Tokiomi’s gem was pretty damn powerful, which I would hope so considering he spent several decades creating it. If you gave Rin the same time to power up one gem she would create a massive one that would dwarf her dad’s. Remember her mana was strong enough to supply both Saber and Shirou’s UBW at the same time. Even in statements Zelretch basically considered all the Tohsaka mages before Rin to be insignificant.

@@lenleon3699 if she put all of her spare energy into one gem instead of the 20 she has in FSN, it would be a massive nuke that could kill Heracles 6 1/2 times haha. And that’s just the spare energy she puts into the gems over the years. If she dedicated all of her energy to it, it’d be ridiculous.

@@Marionic9001 The problem is this is info given out in books related to Fate/Zero and even the FGO CE info (Duke of Flames). There is even info on early drafts of the jewel staff and everything, and there is some drafts on how Takeuchi originally wanted him to look (no goatee).

Tbh, I'd say the Stay Night casts would win It could be possible that Shirou just spams UBW on everyone and win Or Kiritsugu could just snipe everyone no problem (except maybe Dark Sakura and Zouken)

Result, yeah I agreed with it. Though I not sure about UBW Shirou could beat Cu Chulainn, it unlikely that he could dodge Lancer NP, Shirou does not have Fate manipulation like Servants, even then Cu could just stall the fight until Emiya run out of juice, Servants could fight entire day with enough mana(Cu even able fight Gilgamesh for half a day) not to mention that UBW drain way to much energy here, Battle Continuation skill even make it harder for Emiya to finish Lancer, before he exhausted.

Yea. Only part I didn't find convincing in the video. UBW Shirou isn't anywhere close to Archer skill wise the day prior by their own admission.

Yeah prolly not, due to his hax, and other factors, but I’d wager there’s a good change considering how Emiya & Cu are comparable/rivals and Shirou is (at least) close to Archer Emiya. I didn't mean it as legit argument, but more in general to showcase how Shirou is honestly on level of a decently powerful Servants in UBW Route.

It would be cool to see them in an actual growl or where their timelines cross or something. Because a lot Of the zero masters really calculated and would do better with prep time rather than straight up one vs ones.

fate zero masters : "i am an esteemed mage a therefore i will let my servant fight while i support them from the back lines" fate stay night masters : "fuck it we ball"

Cool video idea that I had, what if you did comparisons between F/SN and F/Zero servants and masters against F/Apocrypha, you could do a couple videos on 1v1 battles, and then maybe a video on sets of servants agaisnt other sets, for instance the entire group of F/Zero servants vs the Red Faction of Apocryphas servants

That would be interesting idea indeed, at least better than just doing vs battles with just Apocrypha cast (because most if not all of those match-ups are really obvious). We’ll see, I’ll eventually do more, but not in near future.

In a 1v1 scenario maybe yes, Fate/SN stomps F/Zero. But in the manner of how they fight, Kiritsugu solos the entire F/SN cast, except Rin and old Kotomine.

Probably, the fight between the two casts would drastically change if fought as team or just in Fuyuki in Grail War -type scenario, which would more than likely be on Zero Teams favor. Kiritsugu would definitely be a big factor, free to employ his usual tactics & likes of Tokiomi and Kayneth would also likely have far greater change taking people out with bases & tools they had in Zero. I could definitely see Zero side winning in such scenarios, but it all depends on which Route of Shirou is used & if STN Team's players can lock Zero’s biggest threats in 1v1’s or not (which is how these situations usually happen in Fate).

It probably wouldn't do much, I mean, technically he doesn't even need to wait that long, Archer can literally summon swords out of thin air, without the need of his reality marble, even if they would be weaker or more inefficient, plus, I'm pretty sure he CAN move around when he's summoning a 1 petalled Rho Aias, remember UBW?, AND, the bullet probablty wouldn't hit because of Archer's skill, because recall, that Archer, while holding back, and immensly injured, still managd to fight and Kill Hercules 6 times, you're telling me UBW Shirou couldn't dodge a bullet? Nah fam, the bullet would never hit, the only thing Kiritsugu has going over Shirou is experience, and intelligence, but in a fair fight, that wouldn't save him. Shirou stomps him.

With either of those advantages, literally anone could win their fight, so we're assuming they're on even turf and don't have some additional prep time. So yea, point still stands.

Ehh.... Origin bullets hitting any of Shirou's projections won't do anything to Shirou himself. They will destroy the projections and only the projections as Shirou does not need to supply his projection's with mana and the only mana cost is the initial creation of the projection. Kiritsugu's origin bullets are effectively useless against Shirou unless he is using a projection like Rho Aia's where needs to supply it with mana considering any other projection can effectively be used to block a single origin bullet which should be fine since he can project multiple copies of his kanshou and bakuya.

I enjoyed the video. I agree with all the victories apart from Saber in my opinion due to their natures. Kiritsugu the experienced assassin would be more likely to show no mercy and preemptive strike UBW Shirou straight away with an origin bullet, rendering his UBW and any further projections unusable before he even finishes his chant. Rin’s crest would be disabled by this too. This tactic wouldn’t work against Archer’s actual arm for HF Shirou though. So I feel that match up would be 1-2 in Kiritsugu’s favour. Not that it would affect the overall victory of FSN at all.

A great video,the only match i disagree with is Kiritsugu vs Shirou.I am not a Kiritsugu fanboy but he called a mage killer not for nothing and it doesn't matter now strong his opponent is,as long his classified as a "mage" his chance for victory will be hight.And Kiritsugu stomps Shirou from all routes and if we takes prime states of characters and give them some support like Rin's magic crest we also have to give Kiritsugu Avalon since he can't use triple and square accel becuase of great strain on his body,same goes for SN Shirou and with this Kiritsugu can keep up in short term in speed with all versions of Shirou,since Kirei"prime" wasn't able to see him coming in triple accel.And even with Avalon Shirou's magic circuit's is doomed since his bullets not destroy them but incorrectly reconstructs them along with a blood vessels and since they are not "damaged" they will not heal......so it doesn't matter what Shirou do:one hit from Kiritsugu's Contender means death! Also we need to remember that his time accel and Contender is not the only thing that Kiritsugu has in his arsenal.Do you remember about his smoke bombs? Yeah.....Shirou don't have anything to counter that,and shield will not protect him since it's a magecraft,so Kiritsugu need only to square accel to him and shoot in the head.The only way for atleast UBW Shirou to win i see is somehow survive unlil he activates his reality marble and overwhelm Kiritsugu with blades shooting from long distance,so overall Kiritsugu beats Shirou in most cases.

No shirou is a mage yes and kiritsugu is a mage killer but they don't play in the same level , Shirou in the two last route can create weapon who litteraly obliterate kiritsugu and everything he can use is useless against that , Excalibur is just to fast for kiritsugu even with is time Magic

@@mathieu9236 it's only if Shirou gets close tho.And as i say Kiritsugu CAN keep up with Shirou's speed if he gets Avalon and he can just shoot in his arm or leg or even his swords it will mean game over for Shirou.So again it's possible for Shirou to win becuase just like you said he's on different leage but really unlikely becuase Kiritsugu is just a natural enemy for mages.

@@user-tp6gz7dp3v kiritsugu doesn't have Avalon because if he got shirou too , actualy shirou can kill kiritsugu at distance with bow (dont forget he was one of greatest moderne bow man) and in mid distance Excalibur or other weapon is all he need , Gilgamesh Sword are many time faster than kiritsugu bullet and shirou can deal with it , and for origin bullet maximum effect he need to shot shirou when he use all is mana so when is cast is Reality marble (this is why he use a Normal bullet as a trap when he fight Kayneth)

So by virtue of specializing in killing mages, he can kill Shirou? It’d be one thing if he held some conceptual advantage over them (which is too bad that his Assassin counterpart doesn’t have skill like that, I guess because it’d be of little use in FGO) but even that can be surpassed via power gap, like how Mysterious Heroine X gets beat up by Sabers all the time. But no, Kiritsugu has nothing like that, he’s just called that since he’s killed so many succesfully, not because he can kill any one of them, and frankly, Shirou isn’t even mage in proper sense of the word. "we also have to give Kiritsugu Avalon" - Both Shirou & Kiritsugu have Avalon, but neither can use it since Saber is not participating. "Kiritsugu can keep up in short term in speed with all versions of Shirou,since Kirei"prime" wasn't able to see him coming in triple accel." - Yet Kirei reacted to him at all points in battle & the bouts was ending with both of them taking each other out. Also Prime Kirei is not on same tier as high-tier Servants either, like UBW & HF Shirou are so it matters not if Kirtsugu can beat guy like that…? "even with Avalon Shirou's magic circuit's is doomed since his bullets not destroy them but incorrectly reconstructs them along with a blood vessels and since they are not "damaged" they will not heal......" - Sure, I even say as much in the vid. The thing is though that OG bullet will never hit UBW/HF Shirou. Kiritsugu can’t fight Servants stronger than standard Assassins & weak Casters, while UBW/HF Shirou can fight & even beat strong servants. HF took out 1 life from wounded Herc (who was amped) in good conditions, & even Saber Alter when she was not going all out, both that will never lose to any low-tier like standard Assasin class. UBW Shirou is basically Archer Emiya-lite & that guy can contend with top servants, even likes of Round Table Tier, which Kiritsugu isn’t f*cking with, so no way in Hell will his time accel or OG Bullet ever hit him (and if we are truly f*cking honest, if it did, HF Shirou has powered through much worse pain, managing to fight Saber & Kirei while his mind, soul & body was getting eaten by Archer’s Arm. "Do you remember about his smoke bombs? Yeah.....Shirou don't have anything to counter that" - Speed blitz, sword spam, area of effect attack or just reacting to next attack coming his way even if he can’t see it (he has pretty much Archer’s stats & Minds Eye)… the list goes on. @@atpr3241 characterwise. Waver was a good kid, ryuunosuke and gilles chemistry was surprisingly better. I mean they never disagreed each other's decision. So no need to bring waver and iskandar's chemistry. Kariya was tragic a character like kiritsugu [not entirely tho] but his decisions really make sense. As for Tokiomi, he was a real piece of shit. He abounded sakura, his own daughter cuz he is from mage family, then let zouken adopt her. Then summon a goddamn arrogant king(i lob him) and tried to control him but got stabbed by his student with his king (lmao i laughed so hard at that moment). Tokiomi was such a bullshit character. I felt like his character is for nothing but to introduce rin and fill 7 masters. Ik i'm goddamn wrong.
