You have to have to have max 500w and has to have markings in french and english. His is illegal

Eglinton ave would eat that bike in less than a block. In 2 years I've been through 2 front rims, a back rim and bent a set of forks. Enjoy the downtown streets that get maintenance. PS, it's now my hobby watching Lamborghini, Ferrari and the Mclaren owners on my street trying to get around. My rim gets bent it's a chincy few hundred, there looking at thousands for a dingged rim.

@@webdesign6776 indeed, emmo/ncm/amego models have throttles and are limited to 32, and stromers go 45 since you always have to be pedaling

Looks like no one is in the city and you are the only one.

Your going 40mph with pedal assist with cars yet you dont wear any motorcycle gear for protection/road abrasion? no full face helmet? im all for riding whatever but thats a death wish when your only wearing gloves and a cycle helmet.

You are breaking the law if you are exceeding 32km/h on a e bike. The one thing drivers and cyclists in toronto agree on are what a menace to society ebikes are

well i follow the road rules and dont go crazy fast. i feel like a lot of car drivers and regular cyclists can be menaces too. cant tell you how many times ive been cut off by cars while driving and riding. and how many normal cyclists dont have a clue which side of the road to ride on. maybe we should focus on those causing actual issues. instead of just stating laws. hey marijuana was illegal at one point to but now the same people that created that law have suddenly realized its perfectly fine . :D
