Fascinating quantum research and the creation of a Swedish quantum computer

How does it all work - in depth - nature; the atoms, our cells, and our diseases? To understand these, requires simulations which are unthinkable even for today's supercomputers; but which are within reach when one succeeds in creating a sufficiently powerful quantum computer.
Quantum physics may unlock many new applications in everything from encryption to healthcare.
This quantum computer is part of the 100 million-plus-dollar project WACQT - Wallenberg Center for Quantum Technology. The research is underway now at several universities in Sweden and is led by Per Delsing at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg. Where the computer itself is built. Chalmers is responsible for quantum computing and quantum simulation. KTH (The Royal Institute of Technology) is responsible for quantum communication, and Lund University for development of quantum sensing.
At Chalmers, there is also a testbed, a copy of the current quantum computer, where researchers from academia as well as industry can learn to solve problems using quantum technology, while the work with the original quantum computer to add additional qubits is ongoing.

Great work, however the wavefunction is not the "electron". Rather it defines the probability state of an electron. Just as when you have a probability density function for dice (e.g 1/6) you don't say the dice functions as discrete points of space each with 1/6 probability. The dice is itself.
Very nice video, we should explore more opportunities in astronomy field also and can use some kind of simulation techniques

Can you apply the opposite optical properties to destroy the cancer or a harmonic or a shift between harmonics with in that range to destroy the cancers.

I think it's the temperature, given the fact that you have to work at 0 kelvin
I envision these quantum computers looking something similar to industrial era machinery, sometime in the future.

you add a qubit and you get much more than twice the computer in that is doubles every time so really it is exponential increase not just simply doubling the power The power of quantum computers grows exponentially with more qubits #fourier #bb84 is complete

Brute force data processing. There are algorithms useful for unlocking different technologies, the human brain cannot process them all, there are trillions. A normal computer can but it would take 1000’s of years. A quantum computer could do it extremely fast.
New generic name: QUMPUTERS. Much better than the tongue twister 'Quantum Computers'! What do you say?

Where does gravity get its beginning ? From the quantum level of the heavier subparticles; how one has more weight than another. Just photon has no mass so light can't contribute. And when does it get strong enough when it's no longer the weak force ?

I think this will be one of the most important aspects of quantum physics. Once the brain is mapped out at atomic level, and is read through sensors, brain injuries should become more treatable when humans understand how the brain works properly. This (quantum neuroscience) will replace psychology.

The answer is just before the end.
I am not impressed with how new or big the inventions. The underlying reason is the bad people will find ways to misuse it and the good people is not able to subdue them. That for example scram, virus, hacking etc. Easy we enjoy the benefits initially but after that we suffered having glue to the inventions. It is not that inventions is no good but is only good when the user have a peace of mind using it and welcome the next inventions. An organisation must be form not just to protect the users but the inventors too so that there are doubts in the goodness of inventions. Sound difficult but not impossible for the integrity of inventions and inventors.
