Farm pond Management Catfish &bluegill is a video explaining about how to manage fish in your pond, and how to set up the right conditions for your channel Catfish &bluegill to breed if that's what you are wanting. Some people Would rather not have their catfish to breed. And also if you get a hybrid blue Gill, they will breed but at a very low rate. These catfish are one year old and they will be ready for harvest next Spring, by then they will be 11 to 12" just the right size.

I love catfish and always wanted to try noodling.
If you can catch your local rd department changing out old concrete tiles they work great for catfish. The tiles are usually in 3 to 4 feet sections. They're easy to roll up on a trailer to haul. 579 subs when I commented. Thanks for the video
Kinda off topic a little but what do you do with your ducks in the winter when the pond freezers up. They can't escape the coyotes and foxes.
How deep is that pond? I want to build a pond this size or bigger but I have no clay which means I have to haul in a lot of clay to seal the pond. I have a small 20ft round pond with a few minnows and been wanting to expand the pond.

Yes, get you a gallon of pond dye from Tractor Supply. It will choke it out.

Catfish are cavity nesters. Old metal milk jugs work great.

Lol those are Bullheads the ducks bring the eggs in on their feathers from other lakes.
