The house I'm buying has a river run through the property with a man-made rock dam. The river is stocked and because the dam actually creates a pond 100 yards from my house upstream. The previous owner said the bass love the dam area as it has good cover. And he's caught nice trout below the dam feeding on everything that goes over the dam. Can't wait to move in.

I think it's awesome you got your baby girl out there and she's not even afraid of the fish which is even super cool. I can get my son to fish with me but I cannot get him to touch the fish or touch the bait and he's already almost 10 years old he just will not do it. And I started him fishing it 4 years old you just never would touch the bait or the fish

You can get threadfin shad at lake livingston, get you a net and get as many as you want

I talked to private water fishing last year after the cold front. They catch their thread fins out of the lakes. They survived the front. Just go to the lake and cast net for them.
