My comments dealt with the manner in which they finally left was done without violence of any sort:; their arrival in Berlin was very violent indeed.

Th Soviet Union also didn't cancel the parade in 1941, when the Germans were almost at Moscow. They just keep it every year no matter what happens in the world

@@user-fb9ql8bm2e I agree with 1/2 of that, Gorbachev’s police’s led to the end of the union but Soviet troops like American troops should have never ever set foot in Afghanistan in the first place. Both wars were illegal and I’d wish the lesson would be not to invade Afghanistan b/c it’s unwinnable.

Russians/soviets leaving is always a pleasant view. Shame it took them so long to finally leave and let Europeans live peacefully.
