Oh this was the best!!! And I don’t know if you remember but her competitor (Diana) sang this same song right before her and it was not moving. Diana’s performance was good but it didn’t have soul like this one did.

Tasia still performs like it’s her last. She's truly one of a kind. Day one fan here.

This is 2024 and I'm still listening and crying of course. This is awesome. One for the ages.

Fantasia sang that song like she owned it.

"Yo-Yo, Yo-Yo! Fantasia, Fantasia, Fantasia. Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant." That always made me laugh. Crowd was going so nuts Randy couldn't get a word in lol Simon hit the nail on the head tho: this performance signed, sealed and delivered Tasia's victory!

She truly DESERVED every STANDING OVATION then and NOW! What an INCREDIBLE GIFT!!!! Forever my FAVORITE IDOL of all time!!!💕💕💕💜💜💜

Still one of the most phenomenal performances by one of the best vocalists I've ever seen. For a moment in time, Fantasia took us to that higher place beyond the limits of our minds and struggles. In just a few minutes, she reminded us that anything is possible if we just believed in ourselves. Our dreams, aspirations and hopes were all realized in this performance. This was the best performance I've ever seen on Idol. Honestly. This song is still my favorite to listen to. Her voice is sooooo powerful and the message is so beautiful.
