The scene shows me that we are all fighting our own demons on the inside, doesn't matter the age, and this was Max fighting her demon, she was on the verge of self destruction and she clawed her way back out from the dark place. Everything in this scene was perfect, Max getting lost and finding Vecna, Vecna slowly taking her away, Max having the flash backs, Max seeing her only way out, the boys crying out for her, the song choice and the main part. Sadie Sink absolutely smashing the scene, little words, face reactions all of it, she deserves a Emmy for her acting in season 4, she is the standalone of the season. Amazing 👏

Stranger Things has always been great with the usual ups and downs any show has, but this scene? It's quite possibly the greatest bit of television I have ever watched, the raw power and emotion conveying the unlimited strength of friendship is wonderful, the acting from Sadie and the rest of the cast in this scene is off the charts and the fact it's propelled the mighty Kate Bush to the top of charts worldwide is just the best x

I haven't seen anyone talk about this even though I thought it was obvious, but I love how they made this very out there suicide arc for Max. It started in the beginning of the season when we see her acting different and pushing people away, and then is continued when Vecna enters her mind and reveals her pain and how she wishes she could join Billy and that the mind flayer had taken her too. The reason this scene is so powerful for me is because its about Max realizing that she's not alone and finding the strength and will to live, and realizing that she doesn't want to die. and dude, when she said "Im still here" after escaping, i started crying.

I think they'll be a twist, but it needs to be something really fucking good, because it's getting old at this point. Making the Demogorgan nigh unstoppable (Literally, bullets don't work on it and while fire scares and hurts it - it cannot kill it) basically ruined any suspense of the show because Eleven is the only thing that can stop it. TL;DR - I agree. Eleven's power has run its course, and the character is easily the weakest of the series.

A perfect scene, in my personal opinion. Trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and others are not a laughing matter (if I'm making sense here). People who suffer from them have literally "ran up that hill", and they still are. Even people suffering from inequality and prejudice are also "running up that hill" everyday. I'm proud of those who are still here with us. This song, the original version, will gain a new following thanks to this scene and this show. Seriously, what a beautiful sequence.

In my opinion, TheTrophyMuncher, and BizzyBron had the best reaction videos. With good audio, allowing us to see the full clip, not talking over everything, and just being able to relate best with what they were saying. Also this clip in general is a masterpiece. Really through me away when watching. I had to rewatch it like 7 times, and came back to watch reactions when I finished volume 1.

One of the best and most intense scenes of any tv-show ever, because they (The Duffer Brothers) know that for us to feel anything for a character, you have to take your time to build it...and they did. Can´t wait for the last season, and kind a fear it too.

This episode should get an Emmy, because this scene was written brilliantly. Just when the scene where Max ran to the portal, then fade to black. We thought, “Nooooooooooooo!”. Then we see Max wake up from her trance, then she fell down to her friends. BTW….out of all of the reactions in this video, my fave person who had the best reaction to this scene is Maria Gonzalez. Especially the way she called Vecna Mother F***er, and telling him to shut up. 😆
