What did they do with Max , the girl just suffers, lost her brother, her WHOLE family is broken, her stepfather left her mother full of debts, her mother only drinks and works herself to death, her real father abandoned her, she faces anxiety, depression, guilt, pain all alone keeping it for her, she was blind, all bent, broken, in a coma, no memories, because I just want her to be happy a little she doesn't deserve this, I'm destroyed!

The show only kills off the broken characters. Eddie had no parents, only uncle. Lived life in a terrible home (a trailer), probably does drugs, wasn’t popular, blamed for the death of many students and the destruction of hawkins. Then died a slow painful death in the upside down while sacrificing himself. Billy, he had a mother who abandoned him with an abusive father, has to take care of a younger step sister instead of living life, and gets abused, etc. Then he died a painful death while also sacrificing himself. I’m telling you, if hopper isn’t as popular and beloved as he is now, he would’ve been killed off in the end of season 3. He also suffered a lot. Death of a child, Divorced, became a police officer and then living a shitty lifestyle. The show could not live without him so he lived. Bob also died but I can guarantee you that he faced some trauma to be that sweet. Barb too.

@@juniorlago6737 I understand you, but I always felt that in Max, I always felt that she suffered a lot inside and hid it from everyone and that made her be so closed, tough and push people away, because she was so hurt, so I always cared about her. Max, I think this season she suffered a lot of heavy loads and she was already a broken person, who broke even more, I wanted her to be a little happy and now if she wakes up one day, I really hope she wakes up but if it happens the girl will stay paraplegic, blind and probably without memories, she didn't deserve this.

Rarely do i cry at movies or tv shows, but seeing dustins heart break as his friend died in his arms... it broke me. I cried more than I thought I would. My girlfriend turned to me and I was just wiping my eyes like there was no tomorrow. Same thing happened when he started talking about eddie to Mr. Munson. i swear, if steve dies I'm gonna sob.

It’s kinda weird, Eddie’s death felt so cheap and pointless… while Max’s “resurrection” felt cheap and pointless. And I loved both of these characters. It felt like Eddie was robbed of more screen time and true character development, while Max was robbed of a tragic and unforgettable death despite finally wanting to live.

Glad to see I’m not the only grown ass man in floods of tears over the Max scene - even watching it back destroys me. Just the whole “I can’t see, I’m so scared” and “I don’t want to die”…hands down, I think the most upsetting scene in any show or film I’ve ever seen. To go from the elation of Hopper killing the Demogorgan and Nancy shooting the shit out of Vecna…to that… 😭

Dustin wimpering after Eddie’s death and Lucas yelling for his little sister broke me down.

I felt in my heart he wasn't gonna make it, once I fell for him I was like: he's doomed I know. I think that decision is ultimately gonna bite her in the ass and that's gonna be El arc for S5. Just because you could doesn't mean you should. As of right now, I think only Mike and Will suspect that Eleven had something to do with it. I think she's gonna try to keep looking for Max but never finds her and the guilt is going eat away at Eleven

Caleb Mclaughlin and Sadie Sink acting was absolutely fantastic. When Lucas called for his sister I felt it deep in my heart that scene was extremely hard to watch.

@@lucan_nn I wish it was like that but no, el can't magically learn a new resurrection power, she saved max from dying because she used force healing which is different than a resurrection, she only managed to save her because max wasn't dead but only 2 of her limbs were broken, the reason max is alive is because el managed to stop vecna from breaking her other limbs and bursting her eyes. El can't learn a new revive ability without brenner, maybe if kali teaches her but thats not likely, even if el learns to revive someone she can probably only do it for people who have been dead for a few seconds, not eddie who has probably been dead for hours. Plus eddie is in the upside down and I think the demobats has had a great feast. Eddie can't come back.

Eddie and Max’s death scenes absolutely killed my soul 🥺 I haven’t cried that hard for a character death in a long time. The cast’s acting was so phenomenal.

Eddie's "I didn't run away this time" and Lucas' cries for help just cuts to the core every single time.

Eddie’s death got me in my feelings, then max’s death got me over the edge and especially me realizing how depressed Dustin gonna be and how lucas yelled

max saying she wasn’t ready to die felt so real and gut wrenching

Men who aren't afraid to show their emotions 👏 This was the most heartbreaking thing I've ever watched.

I bawl during the show, then I come watch these reaction videos and bawl some more. What is wrong with me? lol

I believe everyone of us had the same reactions when Max's bones cracked. Like "OMG no they're not doing this to us!"

“ I’m scared” “ I don’t wanna die” I’m sobbing those words hit me BADLY😭

So many people are like "she'll just have some broken limbs and be blind" her body went through a lot! Also he broke both of her arms and legs guys, there was no way Max was going to make it. Thank god El made her body stable again but her soul is still with Vecna. I am more sad with Eddie's death. He is my favourite out of the whole show! Seeing Dustin cry like that too.. too much 😭 I also love how Vecna never looked defeated. He always looked confident and he knew he was going to win this time. He has been in the upside down for a long time, he definitely has a plan b, he's had so much time to plan everything out. So hyped for season 5!!!!

That "max hold on "scene broke me

I just cried 8 more times ... the finale was exhilarating yet devastating. Another scene that made me cry was when Eleven and Hopper reunited

apparently the "Erica help" was improvised and it killed me

Time Max’s first arm snapped. I basically gave up hope. So much anxiety and so much going on with ALL the characters in that moment. 😭🔥

Lucas and Max broke my heart, that scene was so sad 😭

Poor max. 😭 I had a hunch that vecna would still get max. The fact that we still had to see her get broken up like that really hurts. Now, in a coma, I know she will come back but probably not herself/human vegetable or vegetative state. She definitely will be blind though and if she’s does recover from her broken bones injury, she might be crippled or paralyzed in a wheelchair.

The horrifying this is if Max does come back from her coma. She will be blind. The last thing she ever “sees” is Vecna and the upsidedown. That’s a LOT of trauma.

that was i am thinking this show is too afraid to kill the main cast whenever they introduce a new character they die at the end of the season that have that much impact like killing of a main cast that's right their is a gut punch. i love max so much but they could have killed of max in this season that will be way more impactful that any other deaths in the show so far.

has anyone noticed the easter eggs from the 80's horror movies when Nancy shot Vecna and he fell through the window onto the ground and then when they went to check on him he was gone? just like in the 80"s horror movies, classic !!!

Having these scenes back to back really sent me on an emotional roller coaster! Never will I get a tv experience like this again !

They did not change the song after VOl.1 the writers said a long time ago that they couldn't wait for people to hear the other version of Running up that hill in the finale. They asked and played the different versions to Kate Bush before filming they said they kept asking permission to use it and change it. The same way they remixed the Journey song.

Fun fact or sad fact: the " ilove you man" and "erica help" are both improvised by both actors

I have a theory, a few things. Ive thought about Eddie dying in the upside too. I feel like its a special circumstance to die down there. I also find it odd that none of the crew talk about Eddies death. Nothing not a mention, nada. wierd. Perhaps 11 brought him back? Like she brought Max back? and they just didnt show us that part..... hes hiding cause the town wants him dead and yes the Demobats dont kill apparently one of the Duffers said this. ALSO remember in the upside down Nancy is in her bedroom and she says that her room is not her current room... its in the past. So Eddie then dies in the past right? Im also wondering about the clock..... the big old grandfather clock... can they manipulate time with that clock? Can they go back and save Eddy??? So many questions.

I think in the end when we see El in the hospital trying to enter Max’s mind and she is alone in the dark is a way to say “yes El made Max’s heart to beat again BUT In the end she is dead…. Brain dead. So she won’t wake up again” and that’s why El is so sad because she couldn’t bring her back to life all the way, just her heart.

They wouldn't keep her alive just to have her brain dead. I think Vecna had her somehow and she can't find her. She'll come back, and with powers. I'd be willing to bet anything.

You can really see just from their reaction. You can tell how beloved the characters are. Imagine if we had Eddy since last season, at least. Lord, bless us. We would be a wreck.

This sequence is filled with so many ups and downs it’s crazy. Oh she’s gonna die, oh no she lived, oh he chopped off taht things head, oh she’s gonna be blind, oh she’s dying?? Like fuckkkk. Max has been the most tortured character in this show, I hope she has the happiest ending of everyone by the end

I just would like to point something out. I am aware this is a fictional show HOWEVER these are teenagers experiencing very real adult situations. And as a teenager myself, I can't even imagine having to process everything going on.

When I heard the clock go off I asked "Did we just lose?" My heart was broken.

No because the way Max's death hit harder after I read a fan say that all Lucas and Erica did was fight, they rarely got along, but here he was, holding a dying Max in his arms, bawling his eyes out as he vulnerably begs his younger sister for help.

when ever i feel at my lowest i will Rewatch this god damn greatest show ever. and it will remind me of how humans can overcome the evils of this world, thank you duffer brothers and the cast for a truly empowering peice of art. FANTASTIC|

I thought that it was embarrassing because I cried a lot at Max's death.

Eddie and max scenes on season 4 episode 9 made me cry hard tears 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I'm still a very emotional wreck right now from watching all of Stranger things 4.

Welp. Thought I could handle a re-watch, now I have to find some happy videos so I can calm down before bed. Gutted.

I have no shame in saying that I cried so much and so hard when Max died, i had to pause the show and get myself together and get a drink to calm my nerves. It was absolutely devastating!

The fact that stranger things is acted and wrote so well that it touches our emotions like that is crazy

Tell me why I cried EVERY TIME in this video when Max said "I don't want to go I'm not ready"

What made it even worse was that Eddie and Max sacrificed themselves but it didn't even matter in the end. They failed to kill Vecna and the gateways all opened.

I'm a boy and usually don't cry but I had s face full of tears for this scene so bad especially with max and eddie

Eddie's death was just so painful 😭😭words can't explain my pain. I cry every time I rewatch that scene😫😫😫😫

Somebody told John from the reel rejects that he was funny now every video he's nonstop with the unfunny quips, especially during the emotional moments which takes you out if you watch the channel.

Well this just made me cry over and over again.
