Zenitsu didn't just master First Form. He PERFECTED it. He mastered it to the point that if it lands it WILL kill the target. That's how strong he is. He took the most basic Thunder Breathing attack and made it a one-shot ultimate move. The dude is CRACKED

He was talking about Zenitsus inner struggle, troubles in the past and psychological damage. Ofc you can still find his antics annoying, but I think the comment was just saying that there is some real shit behind Zenitsus behaviour and he is trying his best. He's not trying to be annoying but changing can't just happen overnight. In fact, your reaction is exactly what Zenitsu is talking about for people in his past. Whenever he would get stressed out and cry even once, everyone always abandoned him, thinking he is no good, because they never saw that he is actually trying his best. Sooooo, I dunno, I'm not trying to make you like Zenitsu if you don't want to. I'm just saying you missed the point completely. This comment had nothing to do with any cool moment or combat power.

@@cheruz3014 Exactly, and Zenitsu just became so used of being given up on for the smallest of mistakes that he never gained any motivation to push through, because noone believed in him or cared about him succeeding anyways. Then his Master came along and everything changed. While Zenitsu cannot change his personality and fears over night, his skill is obviously there as we all know, when he is most relaxed, in his sleep. But also because he has Tanjiro and Inosuke believing in him now, he becomes braver day by day. I mean, he went and got beat up to protect a demon from a crazy guy with 2 swords and a boar head, just because Tanjiro said it was important to him. That alone should prove what an amazingly good person he is behind all his fears. And now in the current story, just before the current anime arc, it was also said that all of them went on solo missions from time to time while training for 4 months in Shinobus residence. Even Zenitsu went alone and killed demons. The progress is there and his potential is AMAZING. I can only imagine how strong Zenitsu would be if he had his Master believing in him since he was little. All that trauma of people using and abandoning him wouldn't exist so Zenitsu would probably be able to fight to his fullest even when he's awake. I can't wait for that to happen in the story, because I am sure of 2 things. 1: Zenitsu WILL fight awake at some point and surpass all of his fears, I am sure of that. 2: Since we know Thunder Breathing has 6 forms and we have no other notable Thunder Breathing user in the show, not even among the Hashira, I am CERTAIN that Zenitsu will master all 6, because in anime you never really hype up stuff if it isn't gonna be used. Sorry, this comment became kinda long. I really like Zenitsus character arc as you can tell

You may have not noticed, but the "sixfold" refers to there actually being 6 jumps in total, including from the wire to slice off the demon's head. He calculated the route he'd have to take in advance, taking the demon retreating up into the cabin into account.

Parasocial interaction is a hell of a drug. These people on the screen, they don't know us. They can't know us. Maybe even if they did, they'd hate us. But, our ape brains don't know that. Those mirror neurons fire HARD just from seeing another human emote the same way we are, and the thrill of it is intoxicating and deeply moving. @@Taiyama2 thats the whole reason why people are hooked to social media. the techno giants bought this to us and it is acting like a replacement for actual interactions. which is very very detrimental to the world. people were never more isolated. but trust me. this cant replace the the real thing. i give it up because no matter what, no matter how many hours, this is not a cure to my lonliness. this is a drug that makes me forget my problems and hence, is addictive. human mind is not designed to care about that many people if the human conscious does not. yes its true. these people just look flashy as well, but they are truly alone. and not as godly or cool as they seem. im certain they have issues too and might be mildy to extremely narcisstic too. when everyone acts like a diva, kindness leaves the world. thunder breathing first form thunderclap and flash( without sixfold ) straight lightning hit thunderclap and flash with sixfold makes him go aroun the enemy and then sixfold theres no pattern its based on zenitsu's sleep instinct and thunderclap and flash godlike speed is just like sixfold but faster

Zenitsu's fighting style and posture is so cool, perfectly written and displayed.

I literally saw this scene more than 100 times and still I have goosebump Onhmmggod in Zenitsu we love you ❤️

People gush over the Tanjiro/Nezuko team finish... it's great, sure. But this... this was something else. Something that felt like a weird ass pull got fully fleshed out, and I love how you saw the attack twice. There's HOW the move works + enemy reaction, and to finish, they show the whole thing in real time, which is _impossible to dodge._ I super appreciate this "fight," and it's in my top 5 all-time. I also love how when it's done... Tanjiro be like "did you hear thunder? Doesn't smell like rain..."

@@alexa.428 I read it. It doesn’t take away from the fact that his behavior is very pervy in the beginning. It’s not even his fault, anime just always uses that trope literally every time even with minors. I still like Zenitsu as a character though esp after reading everything.

Ugh, I love Zenitsu so much! It makes me so upset that so many people just find him annoying because he gets scared and cries. I feel like most of us, honestly, would be terrified AF to face demons knowing full well what is on the line. And to hear the way he speaks about himself internally really makes me upset because it's very relatable. He honestly reminds me of myself and my anxiety-- I don't have big outbursts like that, but the internal panic part-- and I love him so, so much!

For those who didnt understand what sixfold meant, it means he did the first form 6 times in one go. You realize how crazy that is coz every single techniques that demon slayer uses can only be used once then they move on to the next form and repeat the process. But zenitsu here did it 6 times in one go which crazy considering the toll it would take on his body.

I love how everyone's pretty quiet and the white hat guy is just like "HES BEEN WORKING HIS ASS OFF!" That made me lol. 😂

My absolute favorite part of this is him using the actual attacks of the first 5 strikes to propel himself into the air, and only needing one strike to actually kill him.

This scene is actually deep. It's explained why zenitsu have fear, self doubt and inferiority. Many viewers is underestimated him like how real world represented to see person like zenitsu does. I like his teacher when he not giving up to him and said to celebrated when zenitsu just understanding 1 move. Because his teacher understand it's the basic of all thunder breathing moves. It's also stark contrast with his boastfull senior know many move despite the 1st move of thunder breathing. It's represent person in real world who boastfull to know many knowledge but so dull and shallow. When zenitsu just understand 1 move he perfected it. That's what make him scary and proved through scene the air is vibrated when he start unleashing his moves. This scene is represented he already at hashira level the highest rank in demon slayer corps. This what make him so scary because he never knows, he already at master level when many his comrade never represented this overwhelming presence at manga.

Zenistu was never a coward even when he was awake. he was scaredy and quite a crybaby and avoided fights but he never ran away from battles. he would try his best to fight and save his friends. that's what made him stand out. even with no special talent he always tried to help and fight.
