this is one of the side characters that died that really hits hard...we barely even know the guy when this shows, testament of how great the character of rengoku is...

Comparing a live action movie to a fantastical drawn fictional world that doesn't need to follow any law of our real universe is silly. They're both fantastic mediums for art, each with strengths and weaknesses.

I'm pretty sure Rengoku had every intention of winning, even if it meant his death. Even though Akaza didn't take it seriously at first, Rengoku caught him slipping and almost won. Akaza had to put in serious effort just to escape his grip.

It wouldve been osm to see our trio getting trained by rengoku further but it was so early but still i learned one thing from this fictional character that whenever ill find myself in tough situation ill "SET MY HEART ABLAZE". ❤

The fact that rengoku KNEW he was doing to die and he still had a smile on his face means he was a real hero better than all might he really was the best hashira fr it was almost as if he didnt care about dying and that as long as he damaged the demon he felt that was at least an accomplishment my man rengoku the best❤❤❤

Destructive death Annihilation type is the greatest form of akaza and he used that so many times to stop rengoku.I know rengoku is not a match for him but your words are just trash like your shit.

i think he would be on at least iguro obanai's (with the same powerups that obanai got) level if he survived that long imo. he had a shit ton of potential since he could hold akaza in place for that long while being severely wounded.

@@HowIsMySmile What made Akaza win is simpler than that: regeneration. Regeneration is what made Akaza and other demons survive slashes that would've killed a human more than once. In terms of skill and in equal conditions, Rengoku would've crushed Akaza since Akaza didn't land more than 3 or 4 hits on him but Kyojuro was constantly chopping his limbs off and almost cut him in half. That's why Akaza was desperate and begging Kyojuro to become a demon, since with this huge disadvantage he was able to give a good fight.

Some say he was purposely getting hit so he can show regeneration to Rengoku and slowing it down to convince him but with or without regeneration powers Akaza would win cause if he didn't have regeneration he'd be more careful on how he fought Rengoku, and also the whole fight Akaza wasn't even sweating and not even bringing out his strongest moves he simply just wanted to convince Rengoku to become a demon because he saw potential and fighting spirit in him
