I've seen QBs with worst and I've seen QBs survive when getting fed to the Lions. There were too many red flags and he was confused on the QB test with Gruden. So that's on you and your opinion but even before he got Drafted he wasn't suppose to get picked. Whoever geeked him up and threw him in that draft needs to be fired and knows nothing about football. Because Mahomes and Watson are the Future of the NFL. With Allen, Mayfield, Jackson and now the new batch that just came out are shinning. Trust me when I say, Trubisky about to get lost in the sauce and thrown away and forgotten about bud🐻⬇️✌🏿

Us Bears fans knew then. 80% of bear fans wanted Watson, 15% wanted Mahomes and 5% wanted Scrubisky. Not only did they take the worst of the 3 but they traded a boatload to move up one spot to get him. One of the single worst draft moves of all time.

Even back then we knew he wasn’t going to be better than Mahomes or Watson, it was obvious. But these scouts sure as fuck was stroking this mans ability. “Prototypical”, like we didn’t see a guy throw for 700 yards in one game (Mahomes) and see another dominate Alabama TWICE in Watson...

No not really. remember that Mahomes inherited Alex Smiths' KC team. Mahomes was a wildcard pick, he lost against Baker Mayfield in a shootout and Baker wasn't so hot in CLE. So Mahomes fell into a perfect position. If Baker Mayfield landed to KC w/ ALEX SMITH, Mayfield would have a ring , and if Mahomes went to CLE, he would be in Mayfields position. Watson was a bust because Houston was a better team than CHI and Watson demanded to be traded. So Watson would have demanded a trade by now. Also remember that Deshone Kizer was rated higher than Mahomes. Again, he inherited Alex Smiths team. In the end the 9ers used that pick to get Solomon Thomas and Thomas plays for the Raiders now. Really Bears messed up in the following draft when they didn't draft an OLINE and released the RB.

A life sentence is being a bears fan in the 2010s. Trubisky is like Tim Robbins movie in the ShawShank Redemption. He lives in the better outside world(buffallo) and will probably see a Ring long before any Bears fan does.

Possibly longer. I mean they gave up a total of 4 picks I believe. They traded 3 picks to move up one spot to a team that wasn't going for a Quarterback and then got this guy. I was watching, as a die hard Packer fan living in Michigan where we've got the Detroit Cowardlies. I was watching, fearing the results of Watson or Mahomes in a Bears Uni, at the local bar and I remember laughing and laughing and laughing. There were a few other Packer fans but mostly Lions fans. We all had a good hearty laugh.

Man these takes just...we should’ve known, man

Knicks fans reacted the same way when Porzingis was drafted and look how that turned out. Plus Trubisky actually played pretty solid in his first year and he's gonna get better.
