As a Chicago native who gave up on the Bears and started watching the Colts. I just wanna point some shit out real quick. Trubisky was never the problem, the coaching staff and offensive weapons were. If the bears had a viable offense that had clear 1,2,3 targets, Mitch would have had better decision making on the field, if his pocket didn’t collapse, like idk all the lines that surrounded Andrew Luck, he could have built up the patience to focus and perfect his throws, improving accuracy, and most importantly if the coaches activity worked together to draft him and iron out some of his flaws he wouldn’t be this hit or miss guy. It’s a shame too cause I liked him, I thought he had some real potential and I genuinely hate seeing him as just a backup.
@gordontaylor2815

You'll probably get the chance to see him as a starter next season. The Bears can have Fields and hope he works out, but if Trubisky rebounds anywhere near the way Ryan Tanehill did, the Buffalo Bills that took a chance on him (and "the Mafia" that support them) will forever be able to rub it in Chicago's face what they let get away from them. >:3

The Chicago Bears had a great defense that was causing lots of turnovers that historically does not repeat the next following season… Trubisky just does not anticipate wide receivers being open.. you have to throw players open.. it’s not college he has no hope in the NFL and it’s just a back up and that’s OK.. I think him being picked at #3 was the worst thing that could’ve happened to him, especially when Watson & Mahomes started performing as well as they did. It was just too much pressure for a QB who never should’ve been picked before #30, if not the 2nd round.
The crazy thing is that people only think he “failed” because he was over drafted. He has the 8th highest winning percentage of any NFL QB since he was drafted, but the expectations were to be #1.

Instead of MT taking those turnovers and making the game the blowout it should have been he played "safe" enough to not lose his starting job to a rookie.

im a bears fan thru and thru and i watched every game he played in, no he is not an elite qb, but he is not ryan leaf either, anyone that leads there team to a playoff twice in 3 years cant be called a bust, with all his low side he is still fun to watch and works hard, im still team mitch, I pray this guy can play without fear to the best of the ability that GOD blessed him with

I really like Mitch as well. I hope he’ll use the skills that EVOLUTION gave him to make the best of his fresh start.

He didn't lead the team to the playoffs. If the defense has a significantly higher DVOA, that side of the ball gets the credit for the playoff birth. Hes a bust. Players bust all the time. Theres no shame in that.
Great video!
I feel bad for him, honestly. Its not his fault he got drafted where he did, that was a hail mary from management. He never improved on his weak spots, but how was he supposed to on the Bears? Good luck out there, Mitch.
Been waiting for this video since 2019 🤣 but I’ve been a bears fan since 2015 and watching through Cutlers last seasons, Glennon and Foles, Mitch was the one guy I thought was better at that point in their history. Best of the garbage pile I guess, it’s just a shame he did a lot for the communities in Chicago and they didn’t even thank him. Love the video!
Great and fair retro. Good job brother. GO STEELERS!
Mitch failed because the Bears failed him as they’ve failed every QB that’s suited up for them. They do nothing to support these guys. They want the QB to raise them up as if they’re super men but don’t supply them with any personnel because they don’t care about the QB or the offense. How do you not value the most important position on the team outside of the coach and GM? They don’t even value the Offensive Line that protects their QB! But it’s Mitch’s fault. But most importantly the coach doesn’t know how to develop or coach talent. A good coach would have gotten a lot out of Mitch and would have gotten another young prospect to develop under him. Nagy never wanted him and the GM gave up on him after 2 seasons under the new coach. They’ll never win because they’re too political when it comes to who they hire in the front office. They need real football people drafting real football players. Plain and simple!

Straight facts hell he was literally was better for the bears then what fields has been but instead of blaming Matt Naggy’s lack of coaching ability and the front office not getting him anything it’s “Mitch was a bust”
And now he's a Steeler!
Really awesome video tbh
Really solid analysis
Another crazy thing I learned about Mitch: When he was being evaluated for the draft, it was revealed that he didn't know what a hard count was until he got to the NFL...

Great video 👍🏾
He forget Russell Wilson saying he would play for the bears. Top 5 QB in Bears history.

Russ would be the top 1 QB in Bears history tbh
As a Raiders fan, I would love to see a video on one of two things: 1. How the team is hopefully improving itself to become a possible playoff contender. 2. Why Derek Carr is a better Quarterback than people give him credit for.
Super Mario 64 music playing in the background! God the memories on that console! 🥺
Dire dire docks at the beginning, nice
crazy that he was pro bowler two years ago I feel like I’m old
The video stated that Bears GM was a scout for the Saints.... “When he was a scout with Drew Brees” NEWS FLASH: Drew Brees was drafted by the Chargers!!

Do you think he wasn’t, y’know, scouted when he hit the market? News Flash: He was scouted when he got released. That’s why he got signed by the Saints.
All of yours bears roasts feel like personal attacks Every night I go to bed rocking back and forth curled up in a ball singing the super bowl shuffle
Well made sir
I hear you playing Mario 64 dire dire docks in the background!
its especially sad when you have a qb guru like nagy who failed at developing trubisky. nagy and the entire organization is a joke. on a side note, purple mattress is my favorite mattress ive ever owned
props for the dire docks bgm
One thing that nobody talks about is the fact that if you go back search "top QB prospects in the 2017 draft" almost all the listings have Trubisky ranked at 1. Obviously they were all wrong.

It's not Trubisky's fault that the Bears can't develop a QB. At all.
I'm from Chicago, so I can be brutally honest. I like Mitch, he seems to be a standup guy. Unfortunately, the Bears have never drafted well in my lifetime. And, they are the team to where QB's go to die. They have never developed a QB. Other than Pace's failures, Nagy's predictable play calling, and they cannot beat the Packers, it's a recipe for failure and shattered dreams. The 100th Anniversary game with the Pack on Monday night told me all I need to know about Nagy. This is the premier game of the year, 100th anniversary with 2 of the fiercest rivalries ever on exclusive National TV. And Nagy had his team prepped and played like it was a pre season game. He rested Mitch in the preseason as the Pats did with HOFer Brady. Mitch was lost and it was an embarrassing game. Mitch needed reps, not rest. Oh well, the Mitch pick has killed this team for 5 years, maybe more. Now the parade of retreads begins. Mack's golden years are being wasted. The Bears will have to tank to get another high pick so they can screw that one up again, as long as the family is still owning the team.

FIVE STAR PRESENTATION ! I don't know who you are, but you have created the definitive summary of the Trubisky debacle for us Bears fans. Thank you for your calming professional voice, for factual entertaining video clips, and thank especially for NOT being a You Tube poster who likes to see himself on camera more than a concern for content.
He had one root problem. Post snap reads. When he knew where he was going, his footwork was good and he was accurate as any QB. And Nagy did nothing to help but give him a Bible of a playbook with nothing that would get guys open for easy completions. When's the last game you saw multiple Bears wide open? Been a while and certainly before Nagy.
Respect for the use of Mario64 soundtrack ;)
“His candidness” I DIED 😂
Man that Super Mario 64 background music. Glorious.
Mitch now gets to learn from Brian Daboll and Josh Allen. Hopefully he does work with Jordan Palmer. Could be a starter next year.

Lol what? Why would they start Mitch over Allen? He may be a starter somewhere eventually, but not Buffalo the way JA is playing
He’s never thrown a pick 6 solid pick imo
I’ll never forget where I was when we drafted the biscuit …CT on a Work trip what a nightmare
Great video
I think the bears gave up on Mitch WAY TOO QUICK. If they had any clue how to run a franchise they would have canned Nagy & Pace and got a real GM and coach to work with him.
Came back to this video after we got Justin Fields! Us bears fans can finally have a sense of hope!

LMFAO! The Bob Ross quote was gold.
"Didnt even have dinner with Deshaun Watson". That may have been a very good thing
It's scary that some people in the bears front office thought it was a good idea to draft this kid with the 2nd pick.
