They would of had to PUT him in a single room for this to happen, or else the whole jail would've been infested with bugs. It's like the room he was found in was a torture room, bugs just waiting to feast off of living flesh. Evil pure Evil.

Clearly he pissed the wrong correctional officer off and all correctional officers stick together so you piss one off you piss all them off, the report never states he suffered from mental illness so they pretty much left him in there to suffer because the man clearly had to let guards know he was being attacked by bed bugs, now the food part I don't know if he refused his meals or not given, because inmates do go on hunger strikes.

Spent six months in that facility for something i didn't even do. I was treated like i killed someone Everytime i moved. It's make me cry as a black man to see this because it' really is a lot of innocent brothers behind those bars. 😢 Im living proof in my Dr King 👑 Voice we shall rejoice and call upon the Lord before it's too late. Good thank you for allowing me to become better than what i was and continuing to work on me.

The people that run that jail population all of them should be held accountable on each shift should be made to serve time in a jailing system that have the same problems with bugs and such a life sentence for each employee from all 3shifts the reason that this happened in jails is because when the people running the jail is caught up in stuff like this in most cases they're not getting a punishment bad enough to deter the new officers coming on board from even considering these type of bad things to allow..... If they make the punishment stiffer you'll see less people applying for these jobs

This better be investigated and charges filed immediately.

The jail is so dangerously under staff till inmates and officers are in danger. They don't enough staff to monitor inmate like they should. One officer is assigned to one floor. Monitoring 2 to 3 hundred inmates. Something needs to be done

It’s just totally beyond the point like obviously everybody knows that, but this is a specific scenario that resulted in an unreasonable death there’s no excuse like where is all the money going because clearly I think it’s going to people that shouldn’t even be in this country in the first place.

Someone needs to pay for this. This is unacceptable and failure of their duty. To let someone die and be covered in bugs it had to be over at least a week of nobody checking in on this man. I work in a prison. Many inmates choose not to eat what they get. Does that make any sense? You don't have a choice. And I also echo another comment. Everything about jail should curve crime. Memphis jad 397 murders last year.

How do you know for sure he commuted a crime. There are a lot of people behind bars that are innocent and there are even more guilty of crimes who are running around freely.
