Laura faking a drowning to get Steve to overcome his fear was the biggest thing she did to prove to him she really cared about him as she wanted him to succeed

I love when Laura goes to Polka with him. Something she used to think was just one of his annoying nerd quirks, was just a bunch of people having fun.

When Steve said “I have the upmost respect for you”, that right there, he’s a true gentleman. Not to mention Steve is a true loyal person and a genuine pure hearted guy. Most guys need to be like Steve, loyal, honest, humble, and respectful.

I always gave her the side eye for that. Steve was just clumsy, annoying and emotionally manipulative but Waldo was dumb. Both dudes had a heart of gold though.

Would of been a perfect spin-off. Steve and Laura married with two kids. Steve would be a great scientist at a university. Laura a lawyer. The daughter acts like Steve and a son who act like his uncle Eddie. Eddie would be the new police chief, Waldo have an intelligent son, Carl and Harriet would be grandparents. Just the thought.

Hey there! I'm so glad you enjoyed this one as well. I wasn't intending to do a part 2, but I got inspired by the great response to the first one. I wish they would do a follow up too. I'd even be satisfied with a TV movie instead of a show. It's crazy how Family Matters hasn't gotten a reunion movie or show like Growing Pains, Full House, Punky Brewster, The Brady Bunch, Mad About You, Roseanne, That's So Raven, or SBTB. The show was a pop culture phenomenon and it still had great ratings when it was streaming on Hulu. Clearly there is some interest in it. Maybe one day.

It's a travesty he didn't win an Emmy. I know Family Matters was not considered an Emmy winning show because it was on TGIF, but Jaleel was incredible in that role. His performance was just as good (or better) than other winners.

What the hell? I didn't know there was a part two to this. Here I was hoping for a part 2 and it's already been one made six months ago. Oh well, better late than ever. Thankfully it get notified to me because I clicked on another family matters related video. Thanks for taking the time and effort to put out this video. I hope that this gets more views, so people can finally see Laura was always there for Steve and cared for him. She never let anyone take advantage of him or disrespect him as long as she was around.
