My grandmother was into Santeria, she was a spooky lady, and her houses were super spooky. The vibe was always heavy, and you always felt like you were being watched. I remember this one time, I went into the basement to put her laundry in the dryer. I was talking to on of my cousins, who was in the room near the machines. When I went to go back upstairs, I told her to come upstairs because it was time for lunch. When I got upstairs, my grandmother had the table set, but there were only 3 placements.. I asked her, "what about Monica?" My grandmother looked at me with confusion, and said, "you're the only one here. Monica is out of town." When I told my grandmother I just talked to her in the basement, she got up from the table, and went downstairs, closing the door behind her. She returned later, and said I would not be bothered again, for whatever reason, I wasn't even scared to go back down there. When I did, I felt alone, and calm. It was weird.

@@user-ff6wh6qr9k I am kind of the same way, even though I don't want to be, because sometimes, if I go in a place, and I feel too overwhelmed, I'll want to leave. I remember clearly this one time when I was pregnant. I was in the pool relaxing, and this rush of anxiety came over me and in that moment, I knew I had to go to my brother who was inside... well, I ran inside all 7 months pregnant of me.. to find my brother having a seizure. Other things have happened too, too many to go into, but yeah. I creep myself out sometimes.

I love this channel because it usually tells about lesser-known paranormal cases, not just the famous ones.

Yes, the Catholic Church generally has to get involved in order to completely cleanse a home. Some of these demons are tenacious. “Resist evil and it will flee…….” Yes that’s true, but the Bible fails to mention that it will put up quite a fight before it’s finally vanquished. You defeat one demon, then a stronger one comes in, then another etc…….they work in pods.

My grandmother was from Cuba and knew a lot of things we would say. Some practitioners only practice with evil. Some of them do both my grandmother did both. I’ve learned a lot from her but yes, do have to be very very careful when you are dealing with anything supernatural.

In the original story, it is revealed that Juanita and Co. were into some dark things. They also explained how they found out too. I'll spare you the search and give you the answer. A party among the revelers came forward, because she heard what got unleashed by them. She even helped them cleanse the house and close the portal. P.S. She turned to the light after this ordeal and gave the dark arts up for the light. No she just helps and assists others for the good.

“Promised her many moons ago.” Sounds like she was cursed by the bitter caregiver.

Touching the family…you’re on your own. Touch and kill the family pets? NOW we have a problem and Mr. Entity needs to get himself back to hell where he belongs.

This is happening in my house currently. I think I have a mimic type of entity or demon in the house. We bought the house July 2021. Dan(my husband) hears me call his name frequently when I haven't called for him, I've seen "Dan" out of the corner of my eye when he wasn't anywhere near the room, last week, something grabbed the back of my underwear while I was in bed(my husband drives truck and was gone) and last night I opened my eyes to see "Dan" at the bedroom door getting ready to walk out of the bedroom. We looked straight at each other. I closed my eyes and turned over onto my right side and screamed because Dan was sleeping in bed next to me. I have been praying a lot more lately and saying "in Jesus' name I rebuke you. You are not welcome here". The activity seems to be ramping up though. It all started the first night we stayed here after buying the house. The first night in this house, my husband went to work at 5am. I put my sleep mask on(sun was about to come up and I wanted to sleep in) and laid back down. 30 seconds later I hear a man's voice come from my closet & say "hot rod". I sat up and took my mask off. I was startled but ignored it and put my mask back on & laid back down. 30 seconds later, I feel something jump on my bed and run up to me and start bouncing around and nuzzling my neck. It felt like when a dog is excited to see someone new. I felt the dog hair. It startled me and I sat up, took my mask off again and said "this is unacceptable." I wasn't afraid but startled. I've since contacted the daughter of the original owner of the house & the second owner(we're the 3rd owner) and both say they didn't have a dog at any time.

Whether or not you're Catholic, call a local parish and talk to a priest. Have your whole house blessed. If it doesn't help, tell the priest you need extra help. They should know what to do and who to contact. A thing to remember, these things love fear and thrive on it. Don't feed it and do not try to talk to or communicate with it. Pray the St Michael prayer out loud and believe it. It has never failed never me.

These people did everything they possibly could to fuel this entity. All the rituals, giving it ground. If I've ever heard a case that is a clinic in what NOT to do in these events, this is it.

I have had similar experiences throughout my life. One experience was when I went to the local cemetery for a high school report, and as soon as I walked past the gate, I felt very uncomfortable, and a wave of dread hit me. I wasn't even past the first few rows of graves when i had a hard time breathing and saw a dark shape near a crypt. I grabbed my boyfriend, Edward, and a friend, Jessie. Ed didn't listen, saying i was imagining it. Jessie, however, walked with me to the car with a concerned look. All three of us left after we got the car and grabbed some ice cream. I've never been back to the graveyard since.

I was into Santeria my whole life my sister went to Cuba and paid thousands to become a high priestess and someone like Juanita cant perform rituals like that on their own let me tell you . And the Orishas are temperamental beings . I renounced all those false gods and gave my life to Jesus and he doesn’t ask of no sacrifices but obedience . Thats why the ritual went awry because you need a Babalao to perform a ritual of that magnitude not a regular practitioner can do it.

As a former Catholic, I can say the priest that did not help the family should have gone back to the seminary for training, as he was utterly useless. I would have written the archdiocese in Los Angeles to complain. The family should have asked the priest in their parish to do the blessing.

I grew up in a household that practiced Santeria and mannnnn you don’t even wanna know what that lifestyle brings. It was very unfortunate that was my upbringing all the way until I was about 20 something when my mom finally dropped the religion and I moved out. And when the narrator said sacrifice, a whole slew of memories came to mind that I wish I wouldn’t had seen growing up. I can go on in detail what that lifestyle was like. I’ve talked about it in person many times in my life and I always get the wtfs and the wide eyed stares, I can do it here too if you’d like.

Might as well you have it fresh on my mind DISCLAIMER: I WAS BORN INTO THAT LIFESTYLE AND RELIGION I HAD NO SAY SO OVER ANY OF THIS AS I WAS A BOY. ALL ACTIONS SPOKE ABOUT IN THIS THREAD WERE NOT CONDONED BY ME WHATSOEVER! … now that’s out of the way…. As a child getting my consciousness, I remember that religion. My mom would wear all white and she wasn’t sleeping in her room. She had this shrine of silk material lining the walls and the floor of the den in the corner. She was “making saint” a process that took many months, MONEY (I’ll brush more up on that later), and weird rules she had to follow to a T. I only remember a few like she couldn’t look at her reflection at all or take pictures until the process was over and she “made saint”. Another one was she couldn’t sleep in her bed like said she was in the family room in that silk with pillows. They do this thing where they have a big party basically (the word is an African word that I can’t find the spelling for but I can say because I grew my whole life hearing it) at these parties they have these people that bring drums and other varied instruments along with other means to make noise such as a cow bell and a wrench. The lyrics I guess you would call them are in an African language. They adorn their idols with gifts such as cigars, liquor, candy, toys, and bl00d. How they get the fluid? Sacrifice. I’ll never forget the sight I seen in the garage. While this party happened me, my sister, younger brother and my 3 older half siblings were in one of our rooms playing video games, this was the early 2000s so we had a PlayStation 1 playing diè hard. I finished my drink. I wanted another can but we were told not to leave the room. Not paying attention to the warning I came across the most unsettling scene that I wish wasn’t what was in the garage….

There were these black curtains set up that weren’t usually there, I moved them from the door way where there were at least 15 to 20 people in the garage looking at something. I told the men excuse me, backs towards me, when the men stepped aside I seen what they were looking at, there was a man slicing a goats head off. I was in utter shock, I remember I just turned around and closed the door curtains walking back to the room and closing the door. I couldn’t speak. The image of the goat screaming in pain is still very vivid in memory but not as much as the aftermath. I remember when it was all over hours later I came back out to the garage…. I clearly seen its head on the plate of course but something was moving around on it….. tiny, black, walking around… I got closer…. 2 long trails of black ants were engulfing the head with 1000s of bugs. I ran inside almost about to puke skin crawling……. After that when my mom would have the events for when she moved up in the religion, she would make them more “kid friendly” by suppling a jump house for us and the kids of the parents who were also in the religion. Also at these events they have a lot of fruit to give to the guests along with cigars, little bottles of liquor. For the kids there were toys that were stapled up to the silk, ranging from toy guns and footballs for boys and dolls for girls that were given out at the end along with breaking piñtas.i guess it was enough to get our minds off the madness. If you’re wondering how nobody could hear the slaughter, they play that music VERY loud, once you get the ok from your neighbors for a loud party with loud music, I guess anything is game. That’s very scary if you think about it. This is just the event side of things, the everyday struggle of trying to be normal in this lifestyle was very strenuous and annoying 😒

I practice Santeria and someone like Juanita couldn’t have performed a ritual of that magnitude you need a Babalao or a high priest in that religion my sister is one and even then she cant perform something of that magnitude we did a ritual for my mother years ago it worked but it was a family effort the whole family had to be there and it was a whole days affair. My mom was dying we did the ritual and what happened was her husband my step dad was a healthy guy while my mother was in the hospital he fell hit his knee ended up in a coma and he died instead of her thats how Santeria works

The Entity formerly known as Prince sounds like a truly terrifying force.

That first priest should have had more faith. I think he ducked out because he knew something was there and it scared him. I can see being scared, and not to judge him, but if he took an oath to serve GOD in HIS SON JESUS CHRIST, he should have had the strenght to go through the entire house. I don't known how he could go back to his quarters and not feel bad about what he didn't do.

I’ve never heard of this case before, so crazy

Wow that priest was a real creep! Makes me wonder if he had anything to do with the haunting when it got worse. The fact that he didn’t finish the job and then said something nasty to the family as an excuse for the haunting, makes me think he knew exactly what he was doing and it wasn’t a matter of incompetence. Maybe he did something to give the demon strength when he was there? Like hidden a cursed object in one of the rooms or something. Also, It makes me sad to think this family sought help from every kind of religion they could and nobody could help them. There was obviously a spiritual battle going on in their home. I don’t know how you’d get rid of something like that unless you gathered a whole church together and just prayed and prayed inside the house for days on end. That poor family. Well, if it was a jin no wonder why it was so powerful. From what I've seen, they certainly don't mess around and seem to be stronger than your run of the mill haunting. I'm glad the entity decided to leave the family alone and hopefully it stays that way. Thank you for putting the time and effort into the case. It's definitely one of the scariest ones I've come across

I wonder though did you ever find out what pact was made and with whom Prince had this with if so do you know as well the entirety of said pact? I do believe that this entity was of high ranking you can tell this by what it was doing to this family no random normal "what we'd consider normal" has the control to run an entire family to the point where one must have permission to leave the home, etc or suffer the consequences. A familiar spirit is simply a human spirit and djinn tend to behave in quite the opposite manner but this guy, well this guy is something completely different very powerful and extremely dangerous. I know I've had to deal with spirits and its no picnic even the lesser ones are terrible I couldn't imagine this happening to me or anyone I cared for. Very scary! What made it leave? How did it just disappear? So many experts were unable to help. If standing up to it was the answer, why didn't they do it sooner? Was it lying that Lee was promised to it? Was it magic of the caregiver that brought or conjured it? So many questions.

The Road to Hell is paved with good intentions. I think the reason the Demon arrived is because the Caretaker probably thought to herself she was doing something good with the ritual but God and the Devil both knew deep down she was performing the ritual to save herself

Why people turn to these evil false religion I will never understand. Nothing in this life is worth an eternity in hell.
