The Untold Story Of The Beckwith Family Haunting - Connecticut (Hell House Case)

A new home means a new beginning, a fresh start and, for the Beckwith family, that's exactly what they thought they were getting. But when a slumbering darkness from the past awakens. It will take them all to the brink of destruction. Will they make it out alive? Or will this evil consume their very souls? This is the untold story of the Beckwith family haunting in Connecticut, also known as the Hell house case, and this is not a story for the faint of heart.
Seymour, Connecticut, originally a farming settlement turned small industrial town in the nineteenth century. It would later become home to the HP & E-day company, which would evolve into the bic pen company. Today it's known for it's scenic beauty, sense of community and blue-collar living. But over the years, having previously been home to several Indian tribes. It has also been the scene of numerous altercations. Altercations which have spilt gallons of blood upon the earth. Perhaps those who suffered never truly left.

It's been a struggle the last three years trying to get the algorithm to notice me. So any traffic and comments help me out tremendously.

I dated the oldest daughter for a while in high school. We broke up shortly after they moved in to that house. I vaguely remember her talking about strange things going on. She was definitely not happy about moving in there.

“There is a darkness that exists, an ancient evil that feeds upon fear and misery, that seeks to sow discord and destroy anything beautiful that it can.” Yep, they’re called politicians.

She tells him to turn on the green light, and any monsters there would go away. Little does she know green is these monsters’ favorite color.

What happens if the people being haunted are not Christians? What if they practice Hindi or are zoroastrians? How did the loraines fix that?

I've had weird things happen in my house. Nothing bad, just unexplainable. I went to the courthouse for something, and one of the clerks yelled out "Hey you know your house is haunted, right?! It has a reputation in this town." 😮

Children always KNOW. Listen to thy child /children. The oldest daughter's intuition was on point.

Great narration. I have had multiple paranormal experiences. Very real. Very scary. Buying a haunted house is terrible bc it is much harder to leave it. It got so bad in one rental house that me & my 2 roommates slept together in a queen sized bed. That was after weeks of increasing activity. That night, we encountered a demon. The next morning, 2 of us got hit on the forehead. We all moved out that day. We had PTSD for a year afterward. Absolutely terrifying to try and fight something we cannot see that exists in a parallel dimension.

I grew up in a house like this. It tormented me as a child either directly or indirectly sometimes using my parents and strangers. The whispers through my pillow, the growls when I was passing through the house. Objects would move or disappear. I myself believe it started with that original house around age 5 then it followed us everywhere we moved. Nobody wanted to spend the night at my house 😂 but I was eventually able to get to a good place and find some true happiness within and now they dont come near me.

I love kody’s narration. Excellent. I truly believe that land where horrific bloodletting has taken place the land absorbs the agony and pain of people who lost their lives horribly. Then when houses are built on that land it’s not surprising the houses are affected. Awful truly awful.

Neat video! It's freaky when people find out their home is built on an ancient Indian burial ground! It reminds me of the movie, Poltergeist, when the family had done just that.

Very chilling account. It goes to show that when you move into a new house, you have to ask about who lived there before. Because in every corner or every room in the house, there may have been scenes of violence or tragedies whose memories linger. I remember working at a beachside condominium resort in the 90’s. I was a security guard. I patrolled areas that had cameras on key areas, especially the hallways and the elevators. I remember hearing strange sounds, especially in the northeast corner of the second floor. I heard calliope music. I remember going outside and to the very northeast corner and hearing nothing but the sound of the ocean. There was a bar across from the corner, where the jukebox played Dave Brubeck’s Take Five. I guess this ghost was a hip one. But on the other hand, the jukebox was simply put on automatic play when the bar closed. But I figure out the calliope music in the northeast corner. I did some asking around and it turned out that the resort was once a palatial home that was converted into a hospital for officers who were treated after action in WW1. The room in the northeast corner where I heard the calliope music was used as the morgue. I remember a young girl asking me if the resort was haunted. I told her, without hesitation, “Yes.” I quit the job. It wasn’t because I was scared. There were other issues like travel and deciding on whether or not to go to school and get my degree.
