Yes, demonic possession as opposed to demonic infestation. The exorcisms might have been more successful had they focused on the family members more than the structure itself.

someone created a connection to that entity and it leeched onto them spreading to other family members. Although not a full possession, consciousness of the family and the demon are tethered until broken. The source of the initial contact is the strongest focal point, but a demon of great strength is not anchored to any particular area; rather its manifestation is generated by a host. I have seen this myself. It's disturbing.

I lived in an apartment one time and everyday for 2 weeks I came home and my closet door in my bedroom would be open when I was sure I closed it and the faucet in my kitchen would be on with the water running. I started getting weirded out thinking my apartment was haunted. Luckily I found out it was just the kitten I had at the time doing it.

Yep! I’ve lived in a haunted house for 20+ yrs. Raised my kids there. There are 2 ghosts: an old man who just walks across the living room and up the stairs and a child about 5yo. He runs through out the house. He played with my kids. I put a mirror on the back splash of my kitchen sink so when I was doing dishes……again, I can see them running around. But I always counted 3 heads go giggling by! FYI I only have 2 kids! My son is autistic and he would be sitting facing a wall or corner and babbling and talking to ….air? and laugh! Like someone just told the best joke ever! Whenever I asked my daughter “what is he doing?” she would just say “the little boy that come to play with us everyday!” in a “duh” expression and attitude! But the old man usually only comes out at night when it’s quiet. I’d be on the couch reading and he would walk thru and I swear he would nod to me as he walked by and up the stair…..but only out of the corner of my eye, if I directly looked he’d disappear! I just made a deal with them, “don’t hurt or scare us and you can stay, piss me off and I’ll hire every priest, pastor, reverend, shaman, and psychic to get rid of you!” The boy hasn’t been seen in yrs since the kids grew up and long before graduating high school in 2014. Now my daughter, cousin and her wife with their daughter are gonna move in and they know the deal.

Our family went through this about 10 years ago and unless you know what you are doing you should not try to handle it alone. Both my daughter and myself are sensitive and are able to see and talk to spirits but true demonic activity is very different and scary for most people. FYI the demonic crap makes me angry because they emprison innocent spirits and in order to free them certain things must be done correctly. While some confuse mean, or evil spirits. With demons there is a huge difference. I have found that true demons seem to exist in places with a lot of history especially negative history.

It's incredibly frustrating stuff until it reaches a point of surreal ridiculousness defying any chance of coincidence. It's also incredible how these beings are able to jump from person to person and turn others against their targets. The inexplicable bouts of misfortune and nonsensical outbursts or dismay that plagues those affected is just terrible -- to the point of suicide. There is one director who has depicted this kind of relationship we have with the greater world, which is David Lynch. Lost Highway, Twin Peaks, Mulholland Drive are great movies regarding this stuff. This subject matter must be taken more seriously if we are to uplift mankind.

Im sure if I watched it now it wouldnt bother me as much but also back then, the paranormal genre barely existed. I'm an occult researcher, demonologist and magick practitioner. Generally if people leave shit or honey anywhere, flies will assemble, same logic for demons. Most of the western world will mock us for saying this but if one is a vegan/vegetarian, he/she is generally off limits for demons because their vibratory signature is incompatible, that signature is even more inaccessible if one doesnt smoke or drink. Also, a house must be kept clean and organized always, with regular sage/incense rituals, and irrespective of belief, one must know that a higher being/angel is out there looking after us always. We can't fight evil with earthly punishment methods, we fight it wiyh a good, positive and uplifting energy signature which they are completely blind to. Also remember that there are spiritual entities with noble intentions also that can take the fight to these demons if you sanction them to.

It didn’t like me specially and tended to attempt to push me down stairs, turn lights off when I’m using the bathroom, rip covers off me, and cause me sleep paralysis. I’m not the only one who experienced it though. My friend’s little sister was terrified of one of the rooms and said there was a skeleton man in there. It is true. Negative entities feed off of negative emotions. It is best to fill yourself with love and fill the room with this emotion. Send the demon love and acceptance. For he is only doing what it is created to do. Fear or anger will only make it stronger. If you have a nest as these people do, you must firmly but lovingly claim your space. I have a motto when dealing with the darkness... I look into the Devil's eyes and laugh, for he has no power over me, that I do not give him, of my own free will. 💜😉🤫

so much of what they experienced in that home is what we have experienced in my home. We have lived in our house for 54 years and pretty much ever since we moved in when I was a little girl, we have been experiencing things. Too many to write down. But yes, the mimicking of the voices is some thing that we have been hearing since I was small and it has followed us to other homes. It seems no matter where we move to. Every house is haunted, and the same things happen. We have seen several different spirits inside and outside of the house as well as being awakened by a large shadow figure that slithered down the wall and up my bed until I screamed and kicked my legs and it vanished. There are knocks on the walls that come in threes, scratches on outsides of doors and windows, white faces peaking around corners, my sister being flung against the wall continuously while in bed and my mother having to physically hold her to stop it and my son being frozen as he was dragged off his bed onto the floor and an entity floating outside a second story window. This is just to name a few instances from a few people. There are several guests who have been terrorized and many more instances of paranormal happenings. I am not a skeptic. This stuff exists and I am that someone who knows and lives with it. I often wonder if some people are just like magnets for the other worldly like my family. There has to be some explanation. Maybe one day it will stop. WISHFUL thinking! 😆

I wasn't a christian so i did not belive it would help, but when the knocking on the wall started again the same second i closed my eyes to sleep i gave it a try and it actually worked!! Ive tried being the boss saying out loud "Get out of here, you are not welcome here!" and it worked, but only for a while before it started again. After i prayed to jesus and asked for his protection i havent experienced it again so try it, even if u arent christian! worth a shot for you as well. Good Luck :)

The Warrens sure know to come up good stories. Your reading was flawless, and even if don't believe in demons, I can tell that many of stories like this one involves young, disturbed teenagers, and moving in a new place can certainly be disturbing.

Wasn't there a TV movie made about haunting? The early 90s I think. I remember it being terrifying. Edit - The Haunted, 1991. Even though it's from the early 90s it's still pretty scary.

I think so, too. The Conjuring 4 from what I heard is supposed to be the final chapter in the Conjuring franchise. So, I think this one would be the perfect ending to the Warren's story. Because of how famous it was, it has me thinking that this case probably made the Warren's inspire a bunch of people into getting into paranormal investigation stuff. So I think it would be a good ending. And James Wan needs to come back into the directors chair. I miss his work from the first 2 Conjuring movies

Creepy that there are so many accounts of a being that can't be seen mimicking a loved ones voice. Luring the victim further and further into the forest and they usually never seen again alive. And alot of times never seen again period, dead or alive.
