YES. THIS. THIS HAS TO BE PRIORITY. (Remembers the vault tec cookbook) oh wait, you CAN actually make Nuka Cola.

So it's basically a re branded US MRE. New packaging, same contents. Would have expected something a bit more in tune with Fallout 4 really, to keep it more immersive. Still a nice little thing, but also a tad dissapointing imo.

Probably the reason they didn't is it would have been lore breaking I was kind of hoping the vault-tec MRE would have contained Fallout 4 pre-war food but in MRE pouches like yum yum deviled eggs or Salisbury steak or cram I would have had to go online and purchase a crate of them if that had been the case. Lol

With the beef stew, add a couple tbsp's of water (makes kind of a gravy), salt, and pepper. It really makes it feel like a home cooked kinda meal (learned that when I was in the Army). This was my 2nd favorite MRE, the first being chili mac. Edit : I wrote this before you tried the stew, guess they improved it since I was in. Back then it was thick and bland. Looks better now.

It really is good! Chili mac is my number 1 too. 1 I was surprised was actually good was the beef ravioli. If you have any tips for my normal reviews and prep ideas for the US MREs, please let me know. Cheers mate and thank you for your service.

This MRE is better than Fallout 76

I mean, yes I wish the inside was branded, but hey, if you're not in a vault when the bombs drop, I'd say it doesn't matter what the contents are, it'll still be there when I get ahold of it from your Skelly inventory.

Hell my friend would love that he's a big Fallout fan

I love the punisher flag in the end and also the little tune as well ^.* good stuff, also I really enjoyed watching what was inside that cool MRE, I love fallout!! 🖤

Great review Mate! I did not know there were so many people play Fallout in the mre community. I almost always have KZread set to the Old World Radio live stream. Would have been nice to see some squirrel on a stick, but beef stew will do for now lol. Thanks for sharing!

You can use some of the left over heat from the ration heater to warm up the coffee, that’s what that drink pouch was for, you just put it in like the entree, it won’t get completely hot but will get warm.

Awesome idea, though I feel canned foods would feel more fitting for a Fallout theme. Perhaps in the future they could rebrand the drinks under Nuka Cola

Fallout is a great game series (although i don’t play the games cuz I don’t own any of them but I’m still a great fan) And mres are delicious (I have only ever tried one but I’m wanting to try more) and they fit the theme of the game very well Put both together and you have something that was meant to be

I wasn't expecting it to only contain a pack of Salisbury Steak or a can of Pork and Beef, but it would've been nice if the contents would've been more in-universe. Also roleplaying as the survivor, eating prepackaged food that's recommended by myself on the package is somehow breaking the fourth wall for me as far as cosplay goes. Unless I'm playing a character that has gone into franchising ripping off the idea of Longneck Lukowski, or even using his own cannery.

I like one or two NCR marked. Pretty neat

Well, it's only for cosplay at the moment. Cosplayers probably aren't going to eat what's inside while using it, but it would fly off the shelf if they branded the contents.

Vault Tec is not the "boogie man of the Commonwealth," the Institute is.

This is the exact same MREs the U.S Military uses. The only difference is the outer packaging

Would have been nice if they had some branded items from the Fallout world inside.
